    It's relaxing!

    I stayed here for the first time last year and had such a relaxing experience that I decided to stay again this year during the same period. Unlike staying at an ordinary hotel, I enjoyed a charming and extraordinary space. The cushions in the living room were so comfortable that I wanted to use them at home all the time! The staff's service was also excellent.

    I stayed for the aut...

    I stayed for the autumn foliage viewing. The room was very spacious, but it was colder than I imagined. From around 5 PM, a cold draft came from the window, and when I turned up the heater, my face became dry and cracked. The bathroom was also cold at night, and I shivered because I couldn't adjust the temperature properly. I didn't realize traditional houses could be this cold. I was informed beforehand, but the noise from the upper floors was more than I expected, and I was surprised several times. The bedroom side faces the road, and it shakes quite a bit when cars pass by. The courtyard has a nice atmosphere, but you need to choose the season carefully. The second floor might be better in terms of noise. Yamazaki itself is peaceful, and the autumn leaves at Saijoyama Park were beautiful and enjoyable.

    Full of the charm of a traditional Japanese house.

    The blend of the traditional atmosphere of the old house and the modern renovations was quite nice. The local caterer's bento was also very filling and satisfying. It was great to have free coffee, juice, and local sake available. The only concern was that some parts of the floor creaked, and I was worried about disturbing the Room below every time I walked. I tried to be careful not to make noise, but other than that, it was very comfortable. It was the perfect season for autumn leaves, and I was delighted to encounter wonderful scenery during my morning walk. Thank you very much.
