  Although it was quite chilly for spring, the Facility staff kindly provided advice on how to stay warm, allowing us to enjoy a fun barbecue. The warmth from the barbecue fire helped keep the cold at bay. Those who just wanted to eat stayed cozy in the kotatsu. Since the barbecue grill had wide mesh, an aluminum BBQ plate would have been helpful. Inside the lodge, most of the space was taken up by a kitchen and beds, so it felt a bit cramped when we couldn’t go outside due to weather or temperature—this might have been more noticeable because we were a large group. Breakfast was delivered from a nearby café; however, due to the cold weather, the coffee was slightly lukewarm. Perhaps providing coffee in pots and pouring it into cups on-site could be an option? The food itself was delicious!

  This property is an oasis providing comfort and warmth during the cold winter. The location is in a rural area surrounded by hills. It has a beautiful setting. You feel you are connected to nature and the outdoors.
