    Spectacular Views

    We stayed here for a trip to Yamanashi. We stayed two nights, and it was disappointing not to see Mt. Fuji from the first day, but on the last day we could see Mt. Fuji perfectly from the window! There are houses nearby, but it was my first time seeing Mt. Fuji so beautifully and I was truly moved. I think this is a log cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin has a cypress barrel bath, which feels wonderfully luxurious. This time we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji while bathing, but on a clear day it seems like it would be an amazing scenic bath! The public bathhouse directly across the street was also great.

    Barbecue is not included as dinner.

    The facility was clean and pleasant. My grandchild, experiencing it for the first time, was delighted. The skylight on the second floor of the log house made it bright and stylish. It was spacious enough for five people. The barrel bath? It was spacious and nice, but it took a very long time to fill with water. Advising guests at check-in to start filling it early would be considerate. The neighboring bath within walking distance was quite crowded but still enjoyable to use multiple times, which we appreciated. The coffee machine in the room made excellent coffee, so much so that I ended up buying the same one after returning home. Now for a bit of dissatisfaction: we ordered barbecue as dinner for five people, but what arrived were three plates of meat and vegetables consisting of cabbage, bean sprouts, two onion skewers, two thin carrot slices, and one shiitake mushroom—this seemed odd for five servings. I even called to confirm if this was correct and was told it’s standard quantity; however, I wish they had adjusted portions accordingly. There were no rice dishes or even yakisoba noodles included—I assumed there would be something more filling but ended up having to buy noodles from a convenience store afterward. It felt disappointing as all we did was grill meat; this should have been clearly explained beforehand. Additionally, if rooms allowing pets could provide items like cages or food bowls in advance, that would be incredibly helpful. Overall though, staying here with No Meals Included might be a better option than opting for barbecue dining services provided by the facility itself!

    Plan with BBQ Dinner Included

    I booked with a dinner BBQ included, but I assumed breakfast would naturally be included as well since it was a dinner-inclusive plan. However, there was no breakfast. While I admit it was my oversight for not checking, the information could have been clearer. That said, my husband and daughter went to the venue thinking breakfast was included but mentioned that the offerings didn’t seem appealing anyway, so they felt it wasn’t necessary. As for the BBQ dinner itself, while the meat seemed average in quality for such plans, the vegetables were disappointing—served on a 22cm plate mostly filled with bean sprouts and just one slice each of pumpkin, bell pepper, and possibly eggplant? For four people. Additionally, there were no side dishes like yakisoba or any carbohydrate options provided. We ended up going to a nearby supermarket to buy extra food. It’s hard to call this a "hassle-free" experience as advertised.

    This is my second stay, and it’s just as wonderful as before.

    Last time, we stayed here to visit Fujiten Snow Resort and Fuji-Q Highland. This time, we used it as a base for sightseeing at Oshino Hakkai, Oshino Shinobi no Sato where you can experience ninja activities, and the Mt. Fuji Radar Dome Museum. This Facility is conveniently located near these abundant tourist spots, and there are various restaurants nearby, including those serving Hoto noodles, which is very helpful. The Facility is always clean and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

    Travel for 4 Men

    It was simply the best. The room was thoroughly cleaned, and the facilities, furniture, and amenities were impeccable. The bath was great as there was a public bath right next to it, and we could enter for free as many times as we wanted. When we arrived, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but when we woke up in the morning, the view of Mt. Fuji was very beautiful. Our trip with four men is an annual tradition a few times a year, and this was the best property we've stayed at so far. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the mold on the mattress was concerning, but flipping it over and putting on sheets made it unnoticeable. Thank you very much.

    The villa was beauti...

    The villa was beautiful and well-constructed, but it was disappointing that there was no sofa. The bath attached to the villa was perfect, and there was an Onsen facility adjacent where you could enter as many times as you wanted. However, both my wife and I have tattoos, so we couldn't use it. Despite the large number of foreign tourists, Japan's sensibilities on this matter remain outdated. Breakfast was also in a buffet style at the adjacent facility, but it was terrible. It was not worth 1200 yen at all; even a convenience store would have been much better.

    I had a wonderful weekend.

    We stayed the night before to go skiing at a nearby ski resort. We enjoyed a Christmas party with our family in a spacious and warm cottage. The interior was clean, the heating worked well, and it was comfortable. We were impressed by the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the second floor. There were two bedrooms, allowing everyone in the family to rest comfortably. The bathroom and shower room were connected, providing a spacious area to use. We plan to visit again with our family! The reception staff were also kind.

    I think it was good, but?

    It was very good, but I think it would have been more relaxing if there was a sofa. The chairs at the table were too low, which was inconvenient. The cypress bath had a nice fragrance and the water temperature could be made hot, which was great.

    We stayed with five ...

    We stayed with five friends. There is an Onsen nearby, and we had no trouble shopping. The staff's response was good, and we were satisfied. However, as I am a bit of a clean freak, I think the cleaning of the Room's bath could have been more thorough for a full 5-star rating. Overall, it was good enough that I would like to use it again.
