  It was a unique first-time experience.

  My friend loves architecture, so we stayed here. The Room and garden were beautiful, and it was a wonderful space to relax while enjoying the view. At check-in, they kindly explained the building in detail, which made it a great experience. Rather than a Ryokan, it truly feels like staying in an “old house” just as it is. For two people, the large hall felt a bit too spacious and slightly unsettling, so I think this house would be even more enjoyable with a larger group. Thank you for this valuable experience!

  It was a valuable experience.

  The house was wonderful, and the owner kindly explained its history in detail. The Facility were well equipped, and we had no inconvenience during our stay. If I had to mention one thing, there was facial cleanser, but no gel or foam suitable for shaving, so it would be appreciated if that were provided.

  Excellent environment

  Staying in a cultural heritage site itself is a rare experience, but being able to relax in the beautiful grand hall and enjoy a leisurely morning overlooking the garden and mountains was truly exceptional. The detailed explanation of the building's history was also very educational.

  A wonderful experience

  As a cultural heritage accommodation, I did not have high expectations for the facility, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was spacious, allowing me to relax and unwind. While the crowds in Kyoto city were overwhelming, the area around the accommodation offered a quiet and historical atmosphere, creating a wonderful environment. Maintaining such a building must be challenging, but I sincerely hope it will be preserved for years to come.
