    It was excellent.

    We visited with our family and our Chihuahua. We fully enjoyed the beach resort in a Room where we could see both the ocean and the private dog run at the same time. We added the optional dinner, and both the quality and portion size were more than sufficient; the BBQ set and tableware were well provided, so we had a great time. Being a little away from downtown was nice and quiet. We would love to visit again.

    I had a relaxing time.

    We stayed for a multiple night stay with our senior dog. Being right in front of the ocean, you can enjoy the view of the sea from the second-floor room or while soaking in the bath. Above all, the room was completely odor-free and impeccably clean. Having stayed at numerous accommodations ranging from budget-friendly to luxurious ones with our dog, I can confidently say this place ranks top in cleanliness. Even though it’s not a newly built accommodation, maintaining such cleanliness must require tremendous effort, and we are truly grateful for that. Although it rained during most of our stay, it cleared up on the last day, allowing us to take a walk with our dog by the ocean before checking out. The Minami-Boso area has places where you can dine with your dog, and since we could also order delivery at this accommodation, we would love to visit again!

    I’ve come to love Chiba.

    It was a wonderful place, just as the Reviews said. You can see the beautiful ocean from the window. I was surprised that you can see both the sunrise and the sunset. We ordered delivery from Matsuzan, and the eel was absolutely delicious. The tempura rice bowl is also recommended, with a large shrimp tempura and a shrimp-packed kakiage fritter.

    It was excellent.

    The cottage features a calm and serene atmosphere with a white-based design, offering a clean and beautiful space. The weather was perfect, making the view of the sea from the hammock incredibly relaxing. Watching dogs play in the garden added to the blissful experience. Breakfast in the garden was delicious, and everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. We would definitely love to come back!

    Feels great!

    I stayed for the first time for 2 nights. First, I visited the trimming salon and dog hotel, which is the main facility of the cottage, to complete the check-in process. The moment I opened the door to the store, I was greeted with a cheerful "Hello!" from the staff along with their wonderful smiles and refreshing greetings. This warm welcome immediately made me feel at ease. When receiving the key during check-in, not only did they explain about the cottage itself but also provided detailed information about nearby shops, recommended walking spots for dogs, and even delivery options. Excitedly arriving at the cottage from the dog hotel, it was exactly as many reviews described—cleanliness overflowing everywhere with maximum safety measures in place to prevent accidents or ingestion issues for dogs—a comfortable and delightful space for both humans and pets alike. During our 2-night stay: we visited places recommended during check-in; enjoyed delicious BBQ on a terrace; relaxed in a bath overlooking the sea; took early morning walks—all while having fun safely throughout our stay. My son kept saying during our visit that he wanted to come back next year too! Before we knew it, three days had flown by and it was time to check out—but even then—the staff who assisted us were kind (we had an engaging conversation comparing Saitama's heat differences), making every moment from check-in through checkout truly pleasant. We chose this cottage because we wanted a relaxing family trip including our dog without worrying about others around us—and somehow felt warmer hospitality here than when staying at hotels before. From every corner of this meticulously cleaned room within such thoughtful accommodations—we could feel genuine care extended towards guests. Lastly—the breakfast boxes delivered daily by AWAcafe were nutritious yet delicious! They even brought along a toaster so we could enjoy warm bread—a small but touching gesture that left an impression on us. This is definitely a cottage we'd love to stay at again someday! Since this time was "2nd," next time we'd like try staying in "1st" Cottage too!

    Facility where you can have your dog join you for Child Sharing Existing Bedding.

    This is my third time staying here. Having a BBQ in the spacious garden with a sea view is absolutely wonderful! The room is clean, and it’s equipped with everything you need, including kitchenware and dog toilets, making the stay very comfortable. Above all, being able to have Child Sharing Existing Bedding with my dog makes this truly a dog-friendly facility.

    Beautiful and offers stunning views.

    It was our first trip to Minamiboso City, and the reception staff were very kind and welcoming, even to our dog. They also provided detailed information about nearby supermarkets. The accommodation was very clean, and the ocean was right in front of us. We enjoyed a peaceful walk with our dog on the empty beach, which made for great photo opportunities! The beds were low and designed to be pet-friendly. We would definitely love to stay here again!

    Every morning, a walk on the beach was wonderful.

    Just cross the road in front, and you'll find yourself on the sandy beach. In the morning, the tide goes out, revealing rocky areas where crabs can be spotted. As expected, it was almost like having the place to ourselves. Our Shih Tzu princess, who loves the sea, was overjoyed and woke us up every morning at 5 a.m. for a walk. In the past, she struggled with meeting other dogs during trips and often came home stressed with an upset stomach. This trip made us realize that this type of vacation suits her perfectly. Thank you so much! We enjoyed a luxurious holiday listening to the gentle sound of waves at our own pace. A slightly longer stay is highly recommended here. We will definitely visit again next year!

    It was comfortable.

    Stayed with two medium-sized dogs. The Room was comfortable, the garden was just right, and the beach in front was perfect for walks, making it enjoyable for the dogs. The staff were very helpful with meal arrangements and responded quickly, which was a great help. The breakfast bread was also very delicious. The staff members were all very kind and wonderful.

    Accommodation where cats can stay

    We found Seaglass Shirahama while searching for a pet-friendly accommodation. They responded promptly to our inquiries before our stay. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. The facility included air conditioning, amenities, tableware, a rice cooker, and a washing machine. With the Pacific Ocean right in front of us, it was a very comfortable accommodation. Although the weather didn’t allow for BBQs, we enjoyed relaxing in the room. The children were delighted when the staff waved goodbye to us upon departure.

    The room is always c...

    The room is always clean, and we are grateful to the cleaning staff. The staff members are always kind and welcoming. Our two daughters (pets) have gotten used to it as well, immediately relaxing and feeling like they’re at a vacation home upon arrival. We buy various ingredients at the roadside station and additional items at Odoya. It’s the perfect place for relaxation, doing nothing but gazing at the sea and taking naps. We travel to many places, but this is our absolute favorite spot. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

    Seaglass Shirahama was wonderful!

    We stayed for one night and two days with our family of four, a Shiba Inu, and a Munchkin cat. The staff at the reception were very kind and provided excellent service. When we arrived at the cottage by car and entered the building, we found it beautifully maintained with a clean white interior. The futons were so fluffy that I ended up taking an unintentional nap while lying down for a bit. The kitchen, loft, bathroom, and amenities were all clean and satisfying. The next morning was sunny, so we tried using the hammock in the garden—it was incredibly relaxing and highly recommended! Although it was just one night and two days, I wished we had stayed for two nights instead. We definitely plan to visit again in the future. Thank you very much!

    This is a place I love so much.

    This is our 13th visit since my husband's birthday exactly three years ago. We really love the view from here, and although we've stayed at other places, we always end up preferring this one. Our beloved dog Kurosuke has been with us from the start, and Mamesuke is on his 8th visit. Kurosuke crossed the Rainbow Bridge in January and couldn't join us this time, but he always enjoyed staying here. He used to wander around inside the cottage and walk a lot in the garden. When we visited last November, he initially struggled to walk on the slippery floor of the cottage but eventually managed to walk around both inside and on the sandy beach. I was concerned about how Mamesuke and I would cope without Kurosuke during this stay. However, Mamesuke was full of energy running around. When not doing so, he clung closely to me, which helped ease my loneliness seeing him like that. While listening to the sound of waves and watching as the colors of sky and sea changed with tankers passing by aimlessly gazing at them brought much healing. As always, inside of Cottage is kept clean without any smell from other dogs allowing for a comfortable stay. I am constantly grateful knowing that this isn't something taken for granted. We love Mizurume-san's Japanese course meal but unfortunately couldn't order it this time which was disappointing. Every time we order sashimi from fish shops in Tateyama grill meat over BBQ buy lobsters turban shells clams from Yosukemaru-san cook fish stew or order delivery experimenting each meal making it deliciously enjoyable every time! Bathing early morning while looking out onto sea listening wave sounds remains favorite activity too! Coming Tokyo after 6 AM means Aqua Line gets crowded so figuring out what do until check-in becomes challenging sometimes. This time played at newly opened dog run "Mamenoki Dog Park" Futsu between nine eleven o'clock which worked well though if previous day Room were available early check-in option would be nice think about sometimes... Various desires arise yet still want return whenever possible throughout year again! *Photo features Kurosuke & Mamesuke

    The third visit to Seaglass Shirahama

    We stayed at the 1st Cottage for the second time after staying at the 2nd once. The 1st Cottage is truly appreciated by our timid Nana as you can't hear human or dog voices. We enjoyed playing tag in the room with warm floor heating. The sashimi and eel from Matsuzen were delicious. The bath with a view of the lighthouse was nice, and the stars were beautiful! Breakfast was at Portomaison Rooms. It's a lovely place. The staff are always very pleasant. We will visit again. Thank you very much!

    I stay every year.

    I use it every year. In dog-friendly Stays, the smell is usually a concern, but I've never been bothered by any odor at Seaglass. The Room is always clean. The kitchen sponge is replaced with a new one each time, so I can use it comfortably. This year, it seems that the TV and air conditioner were renewed, making the stay even more comfortable. The Italian delivery we ordered separately was also very delicious. The weather wasn't very good, but I was able to refresh myself while being soothed by the sound of the waves. Maybe it would be nice to relax during the New Year holidays next year.

    It's always the best, no matter how many times you stay.

    This was the fifth stay for Seaglass, and it's always the best no matter how many times we visit. The room is incredibly clean. BBQ in the garden (dog run) at the room. And the location is right in front of the sea. The thoughtfulness of everyone at Sea Dog is wonderful, and the list of shops you can visit with your dog is very helpful for those traveling with pets. In the summer, we once enjoyed the sea for a while with just humans, leaving our dog in the care of Sea Dog, and our beloved pet also enjoyed the stay. It's popular, so it's hard to get a reservation, but we will definitely visit again.
