It was an amazing 3-night, 4-day stay—I definitely want to stay here again.
Our family of three stayed for 3 nights. Above all, the location—right in front of the ocean—was incredible. It’s set along the coastline that continues from Toguchi Beach, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Toguchi Beach. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from Irabu Ohashi Bridge, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The daytime sea was beautiful, and the starry sky at night was just as amazing. On a morning after rain, we were even treated to the stunning sight of a huge rainbow over the ocean. The time we spent looking out at the sea and rainbow beyond the pool is especially unforgettable. In front of the villa there is also an area that feels like a small private beach. This time we gave up going into the sea due to an approaching tropical depression, but you can borrow pool items, sand-play toys, and life jackets as well. We were told that around typhoons, waves can wash away some of the sand and reduce the beach area. The pool is also just the right size for families to enjoy together. And what we especially loved was the BBQ. We bought our own ingredients and enjoyed lighting charcoal for the first time in a while. Having drinks while BBQing with the ocean right in front of us was unbeatable. The kitchen is stocked with most cooking utensils and basic seasonings, so self-catering is easy. There’s also a water dispenser, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, plus a washer-dryer and detergent—very convenient for a Multiple Night Stay. Trash can be separated and left by the entrance in the morning for collection. We also appreciated being able to sleep comfortably on proper beds rather than an extra bed even with three people. There are four beds in total, so we were able to recover well from travel fatigue. The staff were very kind as well. This isn’t suited to those looking for full service like a luxury Hotel with staff on-site 24 hours a day, but during staffed hours they responded quickly whenever we needed something. On our last day they even came outside to see us off despite strong winds and heavy rain—we’re very grateful. Since it’s summer there are naturally some insects around, but insect spray and repellents are provided; we recommend setting them up soon after arrival. Geckos are part of island life too (in good humor). Perhaps because priority is given to views, there isn’t much eave overhang; during heavy rain we noticed some noise from raindrops hitting windows. That said, this means truly spectacular views from inside—the window soundproofing is excellent and normally you can barely hear waves indoors at all. If anything could be improved, having mats at both entrances (the front door and terrace) to brush off sand would be even more convenient. This is a villa where you can stay “as if living,” at your own pace. Our whole family was completely satisfied—it was an amazing 3-night/4-day stay!

My husband and I vis...
My husband and I visit Miyakojima every year. This was our first time staying on Irabu Island, and choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision. We could see the ocean both from the Room and from the bath, and once outside there was a pool. The pool was more than spacious enough for two people, with good depth, and we could reach the beach in seconds. We considered walking to Toguchi Beach as it seemed close enough, but the path is over rough rocks and felt dangerous, so we gave up. At night we enjoyed a sky full of stars by the pool with a drink in hand—this Accommodation let us have everything we wanted without even leaving. There was an extra bedroom next to the bathroom, so we used it to open our suitcases and store our belongings, which allowed us to enjoy the living room, dining area, and main bedroom with plenty of space and great comfort. For meals, there are restaurants just a short drive away, so it never felt inconvenient. We even found some unique places serving mangrove crab and sea turtle dishes. We stayed for three nights this time, but next year we’d like to stay a little longer.

It’s easy to see why the Reviews are excellent.
I’ve visited Miyakojima many times, but this was my first stay at this villa. I traveled with my son and my parents, and our whole family loved it. The Facility is, of course, spotless, and it was amazing how everything we needed during our stay was provided—down to the smallest thoughtful touches. The interior design is wonderful, letting you feel the scenery outside no matter where you are in the villa. I love the sea in Miyakojima, and I was able to relax on the outdoor terrace—enjoying coffee in the morning and drinks at night. The beach is just a short walk away, so we borrowed fishing gear to have fun and also enjoyed a BBQ. One of the Facility staff members was very kind and even showed us how to use the fishing gear. I truly hope this place will be kept just as it is. We’ll be back again.

This is my second stay!
This villa truly offers breathtaking views! It’s impeccably clean—not a single hair out of place. I was impressed by that last time as well. And although the seasonings are simple, they’re freshly replaced every time, which is a pleasant surprise! There are also plenty of drinks provided. The view from the Room—and even from the bed—is simply amazing. If possible, I’d love to stay here again every time!!!

Awesome!
Even in February, the pool temperature was" very comfortable. It was heated, so we could relax and take our time. We were soothed by the scent and sound of the sea. It was truly amazing.

We were extremely satisfied.
The view from the Accommodation was truly beautiful—rather than just an ocean view, it felt like we were right on the ocean. The blue sea spread out directly in front of us, and when you head toward the shore, you can encounter lots of crabs and shellfish along the rocky coast without even going into the water. We could also see a beautiful sunset from our Room. We didn’t use the heated pool, but when we checked the water temperature, it felt comfortable enough to swim even in January. The amenities were thoughtfully selected. There was a lovely comb, plenty of face masks and other face creams, and while simplified amenities are becoming more common these days, we were genuinely happy to find such a well-stocked selection. Also, the water was soft—our skin felt so smooth that we could hardly tell whether all the soap had rinsed off. There was a wide variety of welcome drinks: about four kinds of soft drinks and about two kinds of alcoholic beverages. On our second night, we stocked up at a local supermarket and enjoyed shabu-shabu. Not only did we have Miyakojima beef shabu-shabu, but we also enjoyed locally caught shellfish and fish from Miyakojima as sashimi. Since there were basic seasonings and essential kitchen items provided, cooking was easy. We were able to enjoy both a sense of luxury and relaxing time that felt like being at home. The staff were kind, and since our interactions were limited to check-in and check-out, we could enjoy plenty of private time. When we asked for fresh towels, they included a note with recommended island spots and places to eat—it really warmed our hearts. It was a wonderful stay. We’d love to stay again if we have another chance. Thank you very much.

Highly satisfied
I was drawn to the photos on IKYU and decided to try it for the first time. Blessed with good weather, I enjoyed a breathtaking view of the Miyako Blue sea from the living room, which alone was incredibly satisfying. Despite it being a slightly chilly season, the heated pool was at a perfect temperature, allowing me to enjoy stunning sunsets and sunrises while using it. The staff were very accommodating, promptly providing additional towels and explaining how to use the bathroom facilities—thank you for your excellent service. The kitchen was fully equipped, making my stay completely comfortable without any inconvenience. This time I stayed for just one night as it was my first visit, but next time I would love to book a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much!

Hmm
I visit Miyako Island more than twice a year because I have a friend there. Since I don't have specific plans, I look forward to staying at different hotels and villas each time. I chose this accommodation for a multiple night stay because of its high reviews and the recommendation from someone who visits Miyako every year, calling it their No.1 choice. However, my impression is: why are the other reviews so high? If it's your first time staying in a villa on Miyako Island, you might understand why some people rate it highly. **Good Points** - Close to the sea - Heated pool **Bad Points** - Plastic tableware... It's fine for families with kids but might not be ideal for couples. - Small bathroom... It would have been better if it were larger since we had children with us. - The BBQ area lacks lighting and a roof... It was hard to see the meat while cooking, and the provided light attracted bugs. When it started raining, we had to evacuate suddenly due to no roof coverage. - Depending on your room's location, you can be seen by others; an older lady from the neighboring room appeared over the partition unexpectedly (not sure how her face showed up there—maybe there's some kind of step in that middle room?). - While being close to the sea is nice, it's a rocky beach rather than sandy. - The temperature of the heated pool cannot be adjusted—it felt colder than expected at times. - Front desk closes at 5 PM... I wanted champagne in the evening but found only wine available in their wine cellar after hours. Additionally, activities need to be booked by 5 PM as well; one-night guests should plan ahead. - Narrow poolside area makes passing through difficult where chairs are placed. - Unclear reception location (we parked in an employee parking space by mistake and happened upon someone who helped us). - Service feels more distant than "just right." Although I've listed many negatives here, it's likely because my expectations were high going into this stay! This facility is perfect for first-time visitors to Miyako Island looking for an affordable private villa with a pool or those wanting access even during winter months. However—for those already accustomed-to or experienced-with villas on Miyako—you may find this place lacking overall satisfaction compared against alternatives available locally!

It was the best stay.
This was my first stay. The location and facilities were excellent, and I had a great experience. There are several restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. The staff provided prompt and courteous assistance with rental items, which was greatly appreciated. My wife was delighted that the bathwater was soft water, leaving her skin feeling smooth. I would love to stay here again when visiting Miyako Island next time.

Excellent!
Two days felt like a dream. The ocean stretches out right in front of you, and you can see it from every Room. The sunset was absolutely stunning. I wanted to snorkel and borrowed the equipment, but unfortunately, the waves were too high to do so. Even so, I had an amazing time swimming in the pool and relaxing on the deck while gazing at the sea. Thank you very much!

Love Miyako Island
7th visit to Miyako Island since last year. I finally stayed at Toguchi no Hama Villa, which I had always wanted to try. It was as wonderful as I imagined. The view from the villa, the spacious room—everything was absolutely satisfying. The staff were pleasant, and the sea right in front... The energy from the horizon was breathtaking. I would love to stay here again if given the chance. Highly recommended villa. Thank you very much!

Villa with Stunning Ocean Views
The room offers a stunning location with the ocean right in front. The staff's service was extremely polite and satisfying. However, due to strong winds, we couldn't enter the ocean, and at night it felt like a typhoon with heavy rain and wind, making it hard to sleep as even the parasols were knocked over. Nevertheless, the morning brought clear skies and beautiful views that made up for it. The welcome drinks were plentiful, and towels for Multiple Night Stays were replenished without staff entering the room, showing their thoughtful consideration for privacy during our stay. Their farewell gesture of bowing until our car was out of sight was truly humbling. The excellent location and attentive service from the staff left us very satisfied. We would love to return when visiting Miyako Island again. Thank you very much!

Extraordinary
This was my third visit to Miyako Island, and I finally had the chance to stay here. Blessed with great weather and a stunning blue ocean right in front of me, it truly felt like an escape from everyday life. The star-filled sky I saw while soaking in the pool at night is something I'll never forget—it was absolutely amazing. However, one small issue is that the entrance from the roadway doesn't align well with the parking space, requiring you to cross a sidewalk. Parking can be a bit tricky. Even considering that, this villa was wonderful, and I hope to stay here again next year!

Everything was perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
The view, facilities, and staff service were all perfect, allowing us to fully enjoy our 2-night stay. We were blessed with great weather, making this trip extremely satisfying. The view was exactly as shown (or even better) than the photos on the website, and the facilities were new and comfortable to use. The kitchen facilities were particularly well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy a meal in the room while admiring the scenery after purchasing various items for dinner. The selection of wine (available for purchase) provided in the room was also excellent. What stood out most was the exceptional service from the staff. Thank you for the best birthday ever.
I stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my wife's birthday. The moment we entered the room, we were greeted by an infinity pool and a stunning view of the beautiful ocean beyond—a breathtaking escape from everyday life. The pool was spacious, allowing us to relax fully without worrying about others around us. The room was exceptionally clean, equipped with all necessary amenities, and provided a very comfortable stay without any inconvenience. Excellent!
The breathtaking view as you enter the room is truly impressive. The heated pool allows for enjoyment from morning to night. During our multiple night stay, the pool remained clean and free of insects, making swimming a pleasant experience throughout! The geckos were adorable too. Everything you could possibly need is provided, so there was not a single inconvenience. The hospitality was exceptional, creating an unforgettable experience! Second stay, expecting the same great location, but...
Our previous stay was excellent, so we returned with our family this time. The luxurious location right in front of the ocean offers the perfect environment to enjoy nature, including snorkeling, fishing, and beach walks. The BBQ set we requested was delicious, and the heated pool delighted our children. However, on the second night, a group of young guests staying next door were noisy outside until around 11 PM, which was very disappointing. It disrupted what could have been a peaceful stay. We hope stricter rules can be enforced in such cases. For those considering staying during spring break when there are more groups of young people, please take note. Additionally, two points regarding facilities: when using the dryer, an irregular "popping" noise echoed into the room and was slightly bothersome. Also, the kitchen felt somewhat compact and less convenient for preparing meals for a family. Even so, overall this accommodation remains highly appealing and is a place we would love to visit again. We look forward to enjoying another comfortable stay in a quieter environment next time!

It was excellent.
Dee's Glow was chosen primarily for its stunning views, and the scenery was exactly as shown in the photos. Although we stayed in mid-March, the strong winds made it feel as cold as mainland Japan, so short sleeves were not an option. While we couldn't enjoy the pool or ocean due to the weather, both the view and our room were absolutely fantastic! Since it’s located on Irabu Island, taxi fares to izakayas on Miyako Island (as everyone drinks) were a bit pricey but still within a reasonable range. On our last day, we decided to relax at the accommodation and enjoy a BBQ while taking in the beautiful scenery. We rented a BBQ set that came with plenty of charcoal and three fire starters, making it easy even for beginners like us. We bought Miyako beef from Nangokuya on Miyako Island—it was incredibly delicious! Fresh sashimi from Nangokuya was also amazing (not just meat but fresh fish too). Additionally, we purchased shrimp and scallops from a local supermarket on Miyako Island for an indulgent BBQ experience. Towels and sleepwear were replaced daily if left outside our room in the morning. The washer-dryer worked efficiently for daily laundry needs. Amenities were fully stocked, ensuring a comfortable stay without any inconvenience. The fridge had plenty of welcome drinks along with ice available. Being close to local supermarkets allowed us to shop daily for regional specialties. A stylish café was just about 3 minutes away by foot, making it convenient to explore Irabu Island’s scenic spots efficiently during our stay here instead of staying on Miyako Island. Three nights flew by so quickly—we didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely return next time during warmer months when we can enjoy both the pool and ocean. Thank you very much!

I wish I had booked a Multiple Night Stay... It's amazing.
I visit Miyako Island more than three times a year. I have stayed at various luxury villas and hotels. Among them, this is truly top-notch. The weather was cloudy with occasional rain, but Miyako Island often offers glimpses of sunshine even in such conditions. Even on cloudy days, the Miyako Blue view from the room, the comfort, and the relaxing atmosphere made for a healing stay. The scent of the sea and the sound of waves make you want to stay here forever. It was mid-March, but the heated pool was warm enough to make me want to soak in it all day long. With a beach right in front of you, just gazing at Miyako Island's ocean brings happiness. Although we initially planned for a Multiple Night Stay, we decided to try another accommodation with my companion and stayed only one night here; however, this place ranked No.1 during our trip to Miyako Island this time. From ample amenities to a wide variety of coffee (neither I nor my companion drink alcohol), everything brought us joy. Interestingly enough, we didn’t encounter any insects at all—perhaps due to excellent maintenance in this area as well. The staff were elegant and courteous; cleaning was thorough; it felt like staying at a villa deeply cherished by its owner—a reassuring experience for guests. My companion noticed that as our car left the villa premises upon departure, they kept waving until we were out of sight—something that surprised us both as such warmth is rare even on Miyako Island. Due to its popularity, early Reservation is highly recommended. We booked several months in advance—it turned out to be an excellent decision. Next time will definitely be for a Multiple Night Stay! Looking forward again!

The Best of Miyako Island: Irabu Island
It was my first trip to Miyako Island. The Facility is luxurious and impeccable. I enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool while gazing at the ocean. The sea in front seemed rough and cold, possibly due to strong winds, so I didn’t go in. There were more drinks than we could consume; as a family that mainly drinks water, having a water server was sufficient, but the fridge was also stocked with beer and juice, which was very convenient. The only downside is that you need a car to get to the nearest convenience store. The Facility offers various amenities, so you can come empty-handed without any worries. At night, you can see a sky full of stars from outside—it’s completely dark around here. I even saw shooting stars! I spent two nights and three days enjoying luxurious moments here and would love to stay at this Facility again!

The staff's response was disappointing.
There is only one bath towel per person. I unknowingly ran out after using the pool, so I called to request an additional one. I was surprised when they reluctantly asked, "Do I have to deliver it now... can't it wait until tomorrow morning?" Eventually, they brought it to me, but handed it over in silence. At check-in, the first thing they said was, "Please park your car in front of the entrance." At check-out, the first thing they said was, "I'm here to check out," in a business-like manner, without even the basic greetings like "Hello" or "Good morning."

It was in a great location.
First of all, the view from the room is incredibly beautiful, with an unparalleled view of the sea. Additionally, the pool deck is spacious and truly feels like an infinity pool, which was fantastic. Next, regarding the location, since it is about a 10-minute drive after crossing to Irabu Island, sightseeing and shopping trips to Miyako Island did not feel inconvenient. The property staff also provided a thorough explanation, and since the management building is right next door, services like rentals and cleaning were well-handled, except during nighttime. The gesture of waving goodbye as the car departs left a very good impression. Now, I would like to point out some areas for improvement. The water pressure in the toilet and washbasin is weak. This was particularly noticeable when using the kitchen and washbasin simultaneously. We stayed as a party of two, but since the facility can accommodate up to four people, I felt that this water pressure issue should be addressed. Overall, I think it is a very good property, and I would consider it again when visiting Miyako Island.

It was a wonderful holiday.
It was our first time in Miyakojima, and we were able to relax as a family of four in a very beautiful and luxurious room. Although the pool in the room was a bit cold, we used it and felt very refreshed. The staff who guided us to the room explained everything calmly and politely, and we are very satisfied. It has become a property we definitely want to visit again.

You'll want to come back again! A lovely villa close to the sea!
This is my second visit. Anyway! The view from the large window is amazing! You can see the beautiful sea right there beyond the pool. You can lie on the bed and gaze at the sea. I had a very wonderful time. Since it was December and the temperature was low and cold, the temperature of the heated pool was also a bit low, but I filled the bath with hot water so I could get in immediately after swimming in the pool and getting cold. So, I was able to enjoy a lot of pool activities. You can go directly to the sea in front of the villa, so I was able to find shells on the beach, play on the rocks, and enjoy the sandy beach. For dinner, I had requested BBQ preparations, so I just bought the ingredients myself and was able to eat slowly in the garden while watching the sunset. Moreover, this is authentic charcoal grilling! This is my favorite part. Other villas often have electric plates even if they offer BBQ! The charcoal-grilled meat was excellent. There is a washing machine and dryer, so I was able to do laundry. You are freed from the stress of having laundry when you return home. Close to the sea, you can enjoy pool activities, have a charcoal BBQ, and gaze at the sea from the bed. A spacious, clean, and very lovely villa. I will use it again. A Place of Healing
We stayed as a group of four women and everyone was delighted! Everything was well-equipped, so there was no inconvenience, but I thought it would be nice to have an intercom phone. Lying on the bed and looking at the pool and the sea in front of us was an incredibly pleasant experience. We will definitely use it again.
