    My desire to live between two locations has grown.

    While Accommodations with Onsen and breakfast and dinner included are wonderful, we were hoping for a stay that felt more like living locally. We stayed as a couple, and the simple layout—kitchen, dining area, bedroom, toilet, and shower—was impressive and made for a very comfortable stay. The owner’s mural was gentle and blended beautifully with the interior, creating a lovely atmosphere. We were told that in winter all rooms have underfloor heating so you can stay comfortable even in short sleeves, so we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s an OGINO supermarket nearby as well as a butcher shop; we enjoyed basashi and relaxed with Yamanashi wine (the kitchen knife wasn’t very sharp, but honestly it felt safer that way). Partway through our stay, the owner stopped by to check on us and shared stories about life at Lake Yamanaka—more than anything else, that became our favorite memory and made us feel at ease. It was a truly wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

    It was amazing!!

    We stayed here as two students. The Room was spacious—almost too big for just the two of us. The stylish interior, the wood-burning stove that warmed both body and soul, and the clean kitchen and tableware… it’s fair to say there was nothing to complain about. The host was friendly and responded politely, which made us feel even more at ease. Even if you have questions, the written instructions are very detailed. We didn’t use it this time, but you can also contact the host via LINE, so the support is well prepared. The BBQ equipment included not only a grill but also a lighter and work gloves, so even as beginners we could use it with confidence. There isn’t a view from the cottage itself, but Lake Yamanaka Myojinyama Panorama Deck is about 5 minutes away by car, so you can quickly enjoy spectacular scenery. Even without a view, we were able to relax quietly surrounded by nature, which was very comfortable. If you come by car, please be careful—the road leading into the Facility is quite narrow and bumpy.

    Highly satisfied!

    I stayed here with my mother on a trip for two. The Accommodation was so spacious it felt almost too much for just the two of us, and everything—from the kitchen and living room to the restroom—was wonderful. We bought ingredients nearby and ate in our Room, and being able to stay as if we were living there made it a great memory. I would definitely like to stay again!

    We stayed at the acc...

    We stayed at the accommodation on my partner's birthday. As expected, it was an incredibly beautiful place and space where we could spend a fulfilling and special day. At night, the starry sky was stunning, and we were thrilled to see shooting stars. It’s truly an ideal place that makes you want to stay longer, so we hope to visit again someday!     Corvette Accommodation

    Last time, I stayed at Montana, and this time at Corvette. Both accommodations were incredibly comfortable and provided a truly relaxing space. Montana had charming murals in the kitchen and bathroom, creating an atmosphere that felt like stepping into a storybook or a Nordic home. On the other hand, Corvette can only be described as "stylish." Photos of the designer were subtly displayed, showcasing their impeccable taste through every detail. The nights were peaceful with time flowing quietly, while mornings offered the joy of waking up to natural light. The large glass windows allowed beautiful greenery and soft sunlight to pour in, making for an utterly luxurious experience. The room was kept impeccably clean with thoughtful attention to detail, leaving a very positive impression. I heard there are many repeat guests here, which is entirely understandable. Next time, I plan to take more time and enjoy a longer stay!

    A stylish room with ...

    A stylish room with high ceilings that feels pleasant, and large windows offering a view of distant mountains, making it very comfortable. The cleaning was thorough, and the bed sheets and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Highly recommended accommodation that I would love to use again.

    The cleanliness was ...

    The cleanliness was excellent, and the room had a very fresh and tidy feel. All necessary amenities were provided, so we only needed to bring food and charcoal, making our stay very convenient. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that during this time of year (late November), it was a bit chilly during the BBQ. Bringing a lap blanket would have been nice. Inside the room, however, it was very warm with floor heating and a wood stove. It was a wonderful cottage!

    An atmosphere that feels like overseas

    I stayed for one night on a weekday recently. Although Lake Yamanaka was lively with students, the noise felt distant during my stay, allowing me to enjoy a truly relaxing and peaceful time. The terrace was especially pleasant both at night and in the morning, making it a place where I could spend hours. Beyond the garden, there was an open field that added to the sense of privacy without any concern about outside views. The building had a wonderful atmosphere with its wide frontage and open layout reminiscent of overseas designs. The kitchen was user-friendly, making it enjoyable to cook meals. Personally, I appreciated having a coffee-making set available—it earned high marks from me. I had an excellent time and felt completely relaxed.

    A special space where time flows gently

    We stayed at the beginning of September when it was still quite hot and had the perfect summer retreat. The interior design was full of style, and the Facility was impeccably clean and thoughtfully maintained, reflecting the owner's wonderful personality. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we lost track of time and went to bed late at night, but in the morning, we woke up comfortably with natural light and had a pleasant stay throughout. There are countless moments of joy that I can't fully express here...! I hope to visit again with a few friends. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your lovely cottage!

    I want to come again.

    We enjoyed a relaxing stay surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, creating wonderful family memories by doing things we usually can't at home. The facility was clean and well-equipped. Having a washer-dryer was especially convenient for washing swimsuits and other items after summer water activities without needing to visit a coin laundry. It’s these small but thoughtful amenities that made our stay comfortable. Within less than a 20-minute drive, there is a large supermarket (offering groceries, clothing, and drugstore items) as well as an early-opening bakery. This made it easy to travel light with just a change of clothes.

    Stylish and Relaxing

    The accommodation was impressively stylish, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. Although it was raining, we were able to fully enjoy the room. There was even a projector, which delighted the children! They were thrilled to see visuals displayed in a different way than on TV. A stylish yet relaxing and secure room. We would love to stay here again!

    We stayed for one ni...

    We stayed for one night on a girls' trip. The place felt like a secret hideout in the forest, and we were excited from the moment we arrived. Both the building and the Room were stylish, clean, and thoughtfully designed down to every detail. It had a calm atmosphere where women can stay comfortably and safely, with well-equipped bathrooms and amenities that made our stay very pleasant. The kitchen allowed us to enjoy simple cooking or chatting over wine we brought along. With great access to Lake Yamanaka and Mount Fuji, it’s an ideal base for sightseeing or activities. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was such a luxurious experience that refreshed both body and mind! I hope to stay longer next time!

    Design, not fashion.

    I usually don't post reviews for accommodations or restaurants, but I felt compelled to record my emotions this time. When making the reservation on the site, I had a feeling that this cottage would be a special space, distinct from the many glamping and private lodging facilities that have sprung up recently. The moment I opened the door and stepped inside, that feeling turned into certainty. As I walked around inside, I couldn't help but repeatedly whisper "amazing," which made my wife laugh. If I were to describe this cottage, words like luxurious or stylish immediately come to mind—and they are indeed accurate. However, what truly sets this space apart is its "authentic" design. Many accommodations with so-called "stylish spaces" often feel superficial or overly adorned, leading to discomfort. This cottage has none of that because its design is genuine and inherently purposeful. On an emotional level, it feels as though the design of this cottage speaks about "life" and "living." It conveys something gentle yet honest. That's why it feels extraordinarily luxurious and playful while also being natural and calming. During our stay, we had a light BBQ with drinks while chatting away until we got sleepy and went to bed—nothing particularly special. Yet it was an incredibly fulfilling experience. On our way home for some reason unknown to me at the time—I suddenly thought: “Getting older might not be so bad.” It was the first time I'd ever felt such a thing after returning from a trip.

    A stylish and sophisticated space

    The room offers a clean and stylish space. The furniture, decor (including some antique items from overseas), and interior design are charming and showcase great taste. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and tableware, allowing guests to bring ingredients and enjoy cooking for themselves. You can have a pleasant stay while admiring the pampas grass, mountains, flowers blooming in the garden on the premises, or other scenic views from the room. Although I couldn't relax as much this time due to limited time, I look forward to my next stay where I plan to read books, watch movies, or bring ingredients and charcoal for a BBQ.

    A one-of-a-kind experience. An otherworldly space while staying in Japan!

    This time, we visited the newly renovated Yamanakako to escape Tokyo's humid summer heat. It exceeded all our expectations. The vintage charm, a hallmark of the renowned architect's design, remains intact while the room decor and facilities have been updated, adding an extra touch of sophistication. We came as a couple this time and felt an extraordinary atmosphere that is rare in Japan. The spaciousness and ambiance here are unlike any hotel or rental villa—time seemed to stand still, allowing us to fully relax. In the evening, we enjoyed a leisurely BBQ with wine under the natural night sky. The tranquil flow of time left us pleasantly tipsy before heading to bed. The spacious bed with its comfortable mattress and the serene Yamanakako night ensured a deep sleep. In the morning, we woke up to deer visiting nearby! By the way, Montana’s kitchen is professional-grade (or so it seems)—spacious with high-quality tools that made me want to invite friends for cooking next time. This accommodation offers such an exceptional experience that it feels like being abroad! It was far more relaxing than escaping work stress by traveling overseas resorts. Next time, I’ll try staying at Corvette next door!

    Stay at Montana and experience it!

    We stayed as a couple at the newly opened Montana for 2 nights starting from June 16. The room was spacious enough with cohesive interior design, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we would love to visit again for a more leisurely stay next time.

    A Comfort That Makes You Want to Return

    The space was even more comfortable than it looked in the photos! Although it unfortunately rained during part of our stay, the time spent indoors became a wonderful memory. The facility is equipped with Bluetooth speakers and a projector, allowing us to enjoy music, read books, or watch movies in a spacious and cozy interior—a truly blissful experience. The kitchen was also very spacious and clean, with everything we needed readily available. I felt that staying here itself could be one of the highlights of the trip. I would love to stay again!
