    Thank you as always.

    This was my third stay. It was my first time in the “Haruka” cottage, and it was just as comfortable as always. On the day we arrived, we took a walk along the river from the back garden door to Sakuta Beach. It took about 10 minutes to get there. Our senior dog needed to be carried part of the way, but was thrilled once we reached the beach. The Room was clean and comfortable, and the Facility and overall setup reflected wonderful hospitality. The staff were also very kind, making each visit a lovely memory. Thank you very much.

    Wonderful!

    Thank you for taking care of us on our first trip with our dog. It was a wonderful Facility, and we could feel the owner’s thoughtful attention everywhere to ensure both dogs and people could stay comfortably. We would love to visit again!

    A happy place for the whole family.

    This was our second stay. It’s truly the perfect cottage for traveling with our dog! The dogs can relax and roam freely, and it’s in an amazing location just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The spacious 1,000 m² garden was wonderful, and the dogs were just as thrilled as they were on our first visit. Everything was spotlessly clean, the amenities were well stocked, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Above all, the owners are genuinely kind and warm—just that alone makes us want to come back. The peaceful atmosphere of the entire property was so soothing, and we felt completely refreshed. It’s our favorite Accommodation, and we’ll definitely be back.

    It was excellent.

    Even though it was before check-in time, thank you very much for kindly showing us to our Room. The Room was clean, the beach was close, and we were able to relax and feel truly refreshed. We would love to stay again.

    This is the best accommodation.

    I’ve stayed here many times over the years. It’s a dog-friendly Accommodation, but it’s very clean and there are no issues at all. I can relax and unwind with my dog, and for dinner we buy clams from a nearby specialty shop and enjoy a barbecue. It’s the perfect vacation.

    Family Vacation

    We stayed with our family and two dogs. The space was spacious and we had a comfortable stay. It would have been even better if the bathroom door had a lock. We will visit again. Thank you very much!

    The space was very clean, and there were plenty of kitchen utensils and dog toilet pads provided, making our stay very comfortable. However, the shower curtain in the bathroom was small, which made it difficult for a child to use the shower alone.

    The sunrise is breathtaking.

    I visited with my family dog and booked a room with two bedrooms since my dog doesn't get along well with theirs. The space was very spacious, equipped with floor heating, and extremely comfortable. It was too cold for BBQ, but cooking in the kitchen worked perfectly fine! The large windows made it easy for the cold air to come through. My mother suggested improving the curtains to thicker ones that fit better (they used fabric instead of proper curtains here). I personally had no issues, but those sensitive to cold might want to dress warmly. In the morning, we walked about 5 minutes to the beach to catch the sunrise. Despite the cold weather, there were many people fishing and surfing. Watching both the sunrise and setting moon together was a delightful experience. I’d love to visit again when I need some relaxation!

    Dog Run

    I made a reservation for the dog run, which was stated to be 80 square meters. However, there was a structure in the center of the dog run that did not appear in the photos at the time of reservation. This was very disappointing, and my dog could not run freely, so we honestly did not enjoy it. Other aspects were not bad.

    I stayed for two nights. I couldn't reserve the same cottage as 5 years ago, and this time it was due to my scheduling mistake--- But I was able to relax. I hope to visit again when we welcome a new family member. It would be nice if it were a bit closer! Thank you very much.

    Perfect for your dog's first overnight stay.

    We stayed at the Sora Cottage with our family. It was our dog's first overnight trip, so we were a bit worried, but it turned out to be an absolutely satisfying experience! As soon as we arrived and let our dog out into the garden, he ran around joyfully, and seeing him so happy made us feel delighted too. The garden was spacious enough for him to roam freely without worrying about other dogs, which was truly appreciated. The facilities inside the cottage were very comfortable and clean, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to stay even with a dog. It was also cozy for humans—our three-generation family from grandparents to children stayed together comfortably. The kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped, allowing us to relax like at home while still enjoying a sense of being away from everyday life. At night, we were treated to a sky full of stars. Thanks to the clear weather, we had an incredibly luxurious time stargazing in such a peaceful environment. Looking up at the sky in this quiet setting melted away all our daily stress. Additionally, the manager's kindness and warm hospitality left a lasting impression on us. Their care for our dog was evident throughout our stay, making us feel secure and welcome. They even gave our dog a small gift before we left—a gesture that added to their exceptional service. This place has become somewhere we'd love to visit every year because it provided unforgettable memories for both our beloved pet and entire family!

    This is my third stay. This time, I stayed at Haruka. Since we traveled with two families, having a bathroom and toilet in each room was very convenient. The rooms were clean, and the garden was spacious, which made us very satisfied. If I had to mention something, the pillows felt more like cushions and didn’t suit me well, and there was only one pole hanger at the entrance; it would be better if there were one in each bedroom.

    A Second Home

    We stayed with our two dogs on a weekday. Since rain was forecasted, we enjoyed the private dog run during breaks in the rain (though the charm is halved when it rains...). As meals were not included, we prepared for a BBQ, but had to give up due to strong winds and rain blowing in. In the end, we cooked normally in the kitchen, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. (Oh... there were so many flies, which was quite unpleasant.)

    Repeat booking: Done

    A wonderful accommodation prioritizing dogs. The private cottage with a dog run had a spacious and beautiful garden with grass, small hills, and trees. Maintaining such a condition must require a lot of water, which was truly impressive. The garden lights were minimal, allowing for an incredible view of the stars. We brought glowing collars for our dogs, which worked perfectly. For families with small children, it’s great as both kids and dogs can run around safely without worries about them running off. The recommended supermarket and clam shop were excellent and delicious. The burgers at the nearby new surf shop were also incredibly tasty. This accommodation, along with the supermarket, clam shop, and burgers are all definite repeats for us! Our family has decided to return!

    6th stay

    We always have a great time, both humans and dogs. However, this time there was a strong smell of urine the moment we entered the Room, which had never happened before. We wiped everything down with water. It was disappointing since it had never occurred before, but as our dogs love this cottage, we would like to visit again.

    Dog's First Beach Adventure

    We stayed here with our 2-year-old miniature dachshund and enjoyed a seaside walk, as the location is within walking distance to the beach. Since our dog tends to bark, this separated accommodation designed with dogs in mind was perfect for us. The door and entrance locks were a bit difficult to use due to the sea breeze, so I’d rate it 4 stars, but everything else was excellent. Next time, we’d love to try the barbecue!

    I had a relaxing time.

    We enjoyed a relaxing stay as a family in this spacious cottage with a garden. The owner was very attentive, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of homemade snacks at checkout. The room was clean, and the dishes were spotless, making our stay comfortable and memorable this summer. I have already recommended it to my friends.     Summer Vacation with Three Generations and a Dog

    We stayed with our parents, children (6 people in total), and one dog. The spacious garden allowed us to enjoy our time without worrying about others, and the indoor space was just right for splitting into two groups of three for a comfortable sleep. The amenities were well-prepared, which was great. Even in the middle of summer, the pleasant breeze and temperature at night made our barbecue enjoyable. It would have been nice if we could park the car a bit closer. Also, perhaps due to the sea breeze, some large windows and doors didn’t open or close smoothly, which was slightly disappointing. However, there were plenty of supplies for dogs, and with tiled floors designed with pets in mind, it was clear that this place prioritizes dogs! We even received handmade food for our dog upon departure—our furry friend loved it! We’d love to stay here again!

    Three-Generation Travel

    We stayed at the accommodation "Minamo." It was a three-generation trip with an infant, toddler, and medium-sized dog. The spacious garden allowed both the dog and grandchildren to run around chasing bubbles or playing with a ball, all while being visible from indoors for peace of mind. The large windows provided an open and beautiful room atmosphere. The barbecue space had a roof, so we didn’t get wet even during light rain. Despite the ongoing heatwave, it rained lightly on the day we used it, allowing us to enjoy without worrying about the weather. Breakfast was served outdoors like a picnic, which made it fun for our grandchildren as well. Although the toilet, sink area, and bathroom were combined in one space, there were two bathrooms available so even with many people it was comfortable. Towels were prepared for each night of our stay which added to our comfort.

    The night felt scary.

    The location was great, being close to the sea. At night, as expected, it was completely dark outside, and the Room lighting was surprisingly dim. The BBQ grill was very small, so we also used the kitchen stove. Considering everything, it felt a bit overpriced. It wasn't bad at all. I will use it again.

    We stayed as two families. Each of the two bedrooms had an adjacent bathroom, making it very comfortable to use. The place was very clean, and even our dog was able to relax and enjoy the stay. Thank you!

    A relaxing space where you can unwind.

    We stayed as a family of three plus our dog. The cottage was lovely, with a beautifully maintained and stylish garden that instantly lifted our spirits. We enjoyed harvesting seasonal vegetables ourselves and had a barbecue for dinner! Our dog was thrilled to freely explore the garden. At checkout, we even received handmade treats for our dog as a souvenir. I tried a little myself, and honestly, it was delicious and seemed healthy—I’d love to try making them at home. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

    It was the best day ever!

    I had always wanted to stay at Umi no Oto, and I finally got the chance to visit for the first time. Having stayed at several dog-friendly accommodations before, I can confidently say that Umi no Oto is simply the best in every way! The perfect location and amazing cottage! The spacious dog run made our dogs so happy as they ran around freely, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The interior of the cottage was free of any unnecessary elements, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. Not only was it spotless, but everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided to meet all guest needs. Being able to access the beach right away allowed us to enjoy surfing and playing in the water with our dogs to our heart's content. Even when returning from outdoor activities covered in sand or dirt, there’s a convenient shower in the garden where we could wash off both ourselves and our dogs thoroughly. Dreaming of having such a second house someday... We look forward to continuing visits here with our whole family!

    We had a wonderful time.

    Overall, I was satisfied. The Room was clean, and I enjoyed walking along the long stretch of sandy beach, making it a space where I could forget about daily life during my stay. However, the front door lock was quite difficult to secure from the outside, amenities were minimal (no hairbrush), and there was a slight hassle during check-in. If these points are improved, it would be perfect!

    A repeat-worthy accommodation!

    There are many pet-friendly hotels in the Kujukuri area, and we were unsure which one to choose, but we decided on this accommodation based on its excellent reviews. In conclusion, it was a place that our entire family agreed we would like to revisit. The spacious garden and stylish rooms made for a very comfortable stay. The underfloor heating worked wonderfully, and our dog spent most of the time lying on the floor. The large garden was perfect for leisurely walks as our dog explored with curiosity. The kitchen amenities (towels, dishcloths, kitchen paper, sponge, etc.) were well-prepared and much appreciated. There were two points of concern: 1) The front door was difficult to open and close; it required significant effort due to what seemed like an issue with its fitting. 2) There was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom & toilet area. Leaving the window open overnight helped reduce it by morning. Other than these issues, everything else was perfect! We hope these points can be improved in the future.

    We had a great time.

    It was our first time staying overnight with our dog. The place was spotless from corner to corner, and we had a very pleasant stay. Although the weather was not great and it was quite cold, I worried that our dog, who is sensitive to the cold, might not want to go out into the garden. However, he ran around the spacious garden happily. It was such a joy to see him run so freely for the first time. Despite the chilly day, the underfloor heating kept us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. We would love to visit again and try staying in another Room!
