    Participating in the Kyoto Marathon

    We stayed for two nights with our dog. The treats, nearby walking routes, and a dog bed were all well provided. We had a very comfortable stay. The only thing we noticed was road noise. The Accommodation is in a quiet residential area, but because the bedroom faces the street, we could hear passing cars at night and woke up several times. The built-in hinoki bath was wonderful with soft water, but Gokoyu, a 5-minute walk away, was excellent. Thank you very much.

    This was my first time using this service.

    This was my first time staying here. I drove from my home in Yokohama to Kyoto via Nagoya and was able to check in almost on time. The guest room, bath, and facilities were all excellent. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

    Insufficient cleaning

    Thank you for your hospitality. I would like to mention one concern. The cleaning seemed insufficient, as I noticed dust in several areas. What concerned me the most was when I opened the lid of the irori table; there were countless mites crawling inside, so I immediately closed it again. The sleeping area was on the second floor, and I don’t believe they made their way up there. However, we had brought some snacks that were left unsealed on the table, and we ended up discarding them without eating further. I also noticed various insecticides provided in the accommodation, which initially seemed unusual but now makes sense given this situation. Since we brought our dog along with us, we avoided using any insecticides for safety reasons during our stay. I understand maintaining cleanliness can be challenging but kindly ensure thorough cleaning moving forward. Thank you!

    While there is room for improvement, the accommodation is generally clean and conveniently located.

    Stayed for 2 nights. The location was convenient, and overall, the stay was comfortable, though there were a few points for improvement. **Positive Points** - This is a dog-friendly accommodation, and deodorizing charcoal and diffusers were placed in various areas, so there was no noticeable pet odor at all. - Plenty of plates, forks, spoons, etc., were provided, making it convenient for those who prefer dining within the accommodation. - There was a gift of dog food for our pet dog, which our furry friend enjoyed very much! **Points for Improvement** - Due to the traditional townhouse design, the stairs are extremely steep. Climbing up and down in unfamiliar yukata felt dangerous; providing separate-style pajamas might be helpful. - The soap dispensers installed in the restroom and washroom were very difficult to press down on each time we washed our hands. It might be an issue with compatibility between the soap and dispenser; please consider reviewing this setup. - There was an unpleasant smell inside the washing machine that prevented us from using it. Upon opening its door, we noticed what seemed like black mold; more thorough cleaning may be necessary here. - The microwave's power cord seemed to have poor contact as it often failed to start unless we repeatedly re-plugged it into the outlet multiple times. - While there was information about nearby dining options available on-site, it wasn’t clear whether these facilities allowed dogs or not. Since you kindly provided a walking map as well—adding icons or marks indicating pet-friendly places directly onto this map would make things much more convenient!
