  This is a wonderful accommodation.

  It was my first trip to Uchiko. I’m so glad I chose this Accommodation! I was very satisfied with the kind service at the front desk, the comfortable renovated Facility, and the stylish Room. I’d even come back to Uchiko just to stay at this Accommodation again. Even though it was a cold winter season, we stayed wonderfully warm with floor heating and a kotatsu—it was perfect. Thank you for all your thoughtful hospitality.

If the floor heating in your Room and the warmth of a traditional kotatsu gently embraced both your body and mind, nothing would make us happier. We are truly grateful that you also took notice of the renovated Room’s furnishings and even the small details we hold dear. Since the day we saw you off at check-out, the streetscape of Uchiko has been gradually shifting into a new season.   It was excellent.

  After being so impressed with my previous stay at “Ori,” I stayed at “Hisa” this time. It’s an Accommodation where you can relax as if you were at home. The cypress bath in particular was wonderful—I wanted to soak in it again and again. With tableware provided, you can bring back takeout and eat at the Accommodation, and there are also nearby restaurants, making the location very convenient for dining out as well. I was also delighted to find bottled water and a ribbon-wrapped bottle of sake in the refrigerator—such a thoughtful touch from the owner. Breakfast was served in the newly renovated dining area next to the front desk, and I really enjoyed it—there were many different items in small portions, all delicious. With an 11:00 checkout time, we had plenty of time to take a leisurely walk around Uchiko after breakfast. I’m already looking forward to my next stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We’re also happy to know you enjoyed Hisa’s signature hinoki-wood bath many times. If the gentle scent of the wood helped you relax both body and mind, we couldn’t be more pleased. It is also an honor that you noticed and enjoyed the owner’s small gesture of hospitality (sake and water). For breakfast in our newly updated dining area beside the front desk, we have put care into offering small tastes of Uchiko’s seasonal flavors.
