  Machiya is the best!!

  Stayed for two nights. The location, tucked away in an alley off the main street, offered great privacy and a relaxing atmosphere. One concern was the showerhead being positioned too high, making it a bit inconvenient to use as is—having a lower hook option would be helpful. Also, having a toaster oven in the kitchen would have been ideal. Overall, it was an excellent accommodation, and I would love to stay here again!

  Overall satisfied, but the bath...

  The bathroom door is made of transparent glass, making it fully visible from the Room, which can be uncomfortable. The water heating temperature is also low and lukewarm. Other than that, everything was satisfactory.

  Thank you very much for staying at "Kyo-Ikkemachi Satoi Aokaki." We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused regarding the room facilities. Currently, there is a partition door between the washroom and the bed; however, the washroom remains visible. We are considering installing a privacy solution such as a roll curtain on the glass door. Regarding hot water, it seems that due to the large volume of water in the bathtub, it cools down during filling. The temperature setting is set higher, so we kindly ask you to fill the tub while bathing if possible. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
