    Thank you again for your support this year!

    This is our family’s favorite vacation rental. The owner is kind and attentive, and sharing local tips is always a big help. The Room and bathroom are spacious and well maintained, so we can relax and enjoy our stay. Even my elderly mother feels comfortable traveling here, so we stay at Shirakaba Terrace every year in early summer and autumn. We bring our two dogs each time as well; they’re used to it now, spending time freely in the garden dog run and sleeping soundly at night. We’d love to visit again in autumn to see the fall foliage.

    Our favorite place.

    I have visited Karuizawa twice, in early summer and autumn, and each time I have stayed at Shirakaba Terrace's rental villa. It is our family's favorite accommodation, beautifully cleaned, located in a quiet area, and conveniently close to leisure spots and grocery shopping if you have a car. Our two dogs also enjoyed playing freely in the dedicated dog run on-site. The room layouts are slightly different each time, so it never feels repetitive. This time we stayed at the Sasayuri Villa with an attic room; my daughter loved having the attic all to herself and had a relaxing stay. Next year, we plan to decide as a family which villa to choose and make a reservation!

    A family favorite Facility!

    We stayed in the Tsugumi Room for six people with our family of four and two dogs. As we visit every year, we have become familiar with the usage of the facilities and kitchen utensils, making everything smooth and convenient. The room is clean, spacious, and very functional, making it a favorite facility for our entire family. The manager kindly provided information about fireflies, allowing us to enjoy a memorable night walk to see them. We look forward to visiting again during this year's autumn foliage season!

    Spotlessly Clean

    I have stayed at pet-friendly accommodations several times before, and in my past experiences, I often encountered forgotten items under the bed, dirt under the sofa, or lingering pet odors. However, this place was very clean, bright, and odor-free. The staff were kind and accommodating. What I especially appreciated was the spacing between buildings; it allowed me to let my dog run freely in the dog park without encountering other dogs. It was a wonderful experience. I would love to stay here again if I get another chance. Thank you very much!
