    It was great.

    Considering the price, everything was acceptable. However, this isn’t the Hotel’s fault, but by 5 p.m. almost everything in the tourist area—including restaurants—was closed. The downside was that once it got dark, there was little choice but to spend time in the Room. I suppose there must be some kind of agreement among the local merchants.

    Dinner included is highly recommended!

    On my first trip to Nagahama, I debated choosing another Hotel with a view of Lake Biwa, but even though this one is in town, it was quiet because there were few people around in the mornings and evenings. I also really enjoyed the streetscape early in the morning and at night. The Room was laid out like a studio apartment, but it was spacious enough and very clean. I also liked that it was divided into a relaxing living area and a dining space where you can have simple meals. The bathroom had a large bathtub, and the bath salts were a thoughtful touch. I chose the Plan with dinner and breakfast included. The Italian dinner was delicious, fun, and very satisfying—and it’s great that you can be back in your Room in about a one-minute walk. Breakfast was buffet-style with set trays as well, featuring home-style dishes in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There was plenty of variety on the menu, and everything tasted great. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Nagahama. Thank you very much.

    This was my third ti...

    This was my third time in Nagahama, but my first time staying at an Accommodation in this style. The Room was cozy, and the amenities, the staff’s service, and how easy check-in and check-out were all excellent. Although I couldn’t book the same Room for two nights and three days, they were flexible with luggage transfer and check-in times, which was very helpful. The location was great, and I was able to fully enjoy the Hikiyama Festival from morning until night.

    On the way to Fukui,...

    On the way to Fukui, I made a Reservation because I wanted to stay overnight in Nagahama, which I had only visited on day trips before. It was absolutely the right choice—just as described in the Reviews—and I was able to relax and take it easy. The thoughtful amenities, such as drinks in the refrigerator and bath salts, were excellent. Next time, I would definitely like to return with a Plan that includes meals. Thank you very much.

    Third stay

    I’m always very satisfied with the stress-free stay, thanks to the easy check-in and check-out process and the thoughtful amenities that show great attention to detail. This time, I also tried the breakfast buffet currently being offered on a trial basis. I’m looking forward to it being even more substantial next time.

    This is my second stay.

    This time, we stayed in a first-floor Room. There were snacks and cola, which really lifted our spirits. Breakfast started at 8:00, but when we arrived five minutes early, it wasn’t ready yet. Since it was snowing, we were allowed to wait inside the restaurant. Everything was carefully prepared one by one, and we enjoyed it very much. We would love to visit again around the same time next year. Thank you very much.

    Since the bathroom and toilet were separate, I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath. The restaurant Uomaru that was recommended to me was also very delicious, and I was very satisfied.

    It was a great deal.

    On my way back to Tokyo from Osaka, I visited Nagahama for the first time. The place was spacious and reasonably priced, with Yebisu beer available for 200 yen in the shared area. There were also various free soft drinks. Although I didn’t choose a dinner-included Plan, based on Reviews recommending the restaurant, I made a direct Reservation at the restaurant and enjoyed dinner there—it was lovely. For breakfast, I ended up Reserving at the same restaurant included in the Plan and had a great meal. Next time, if given the chance, I’d like to choose a meal-included Plan and stay in a larger room type. The staff helped carry my luggage up the stairs, so it wasn’t an issue. The parking lot is slightly far but free of charge, which was very helpful. It’s also convenient for sightseeing as there’s no extra fee for parking even after Check-Out or if you arrive early!

    This spring, during my visit to Kurokabe Square, I fell in love at first sight with a hotel featuring a charming townhouse design and decided to make a reservation this time. The room was spacious, and the detailed services were exceptional, making it an impressive hotel. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Nagahama.

    I want to visit again!

    Last year, I visited Hikone and Ishiyamadera in Shiga and became interested in the area, so this time I chose Nagahama. I stayed in a hotel-type room this time, and both the room and bathtub were spacious and comfortable. The plan included breakfast and dinner at nearby restaurants near Iroha-san, and I was amazed by the incredible value for such an excellent accommodation. For dinner at Chisoku-san, the food and wine were delicious, and chatting with the chefs was enjoyable! For breakfast at Kuromaru-san, the white rice was exceptionally tasty! Adding a pickled vegetable set for 200 yen made it even more satisfying. Both meals included in the plan were outstanding. In the morning, as suggested earlier by staff, I enjoyed watching ayu fish in the waterway next to the hotel before leaving after a delightful stay. I'd love to visit again!

    The location of the ...

    The location of the front desk was a bit hard to find at first, but the room was comfortable with drinks and snacks prepared, along with all necessary amenities including bath salts, which showed great hospitality. It is in an ideal location for strolling around the area, and I would love to stay at this accommodation again. Breakfast was included and served at a nearby restaurant; it was delicious, and the staff there were very pleasant. The only downside was finding a few hairs in the bathroom, which made me feel uncomfortable.

    A home-like accommodation to enjoy the city

    During my trip for the Oku Biwako Health Marathon, I stayed in a hotel-type room by myself. Before 1:00 PM, I received an SMS saying, "Your room is ready!" The service was minimal yet perfectly sufficient with everything necessary provided. The room was spacious with a blend of traditional Japanese house and stylish interior design. The backyard lawn and stream created a pleasant atmosphere. The dinner at the Italian restaurant Cisoque, recommended on the accommodation's website and run by a chef couple across the street, was excellent. Breakfast was a special set meal with plenty of dishes from Kuromaru across the street, known for their egg-over-rice specialty. It seems that they are planning to open a café on the first floor of the hotel building soon! Although I didn’t use it this time, guests can also access the large public bath at Yes Nagahama Ryokan by Lake Biwa. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    I would like a Multiple Night Stay next time.

    The accommodation was perfectly comfortable, making it feel as relaxing as home. This time, I chose this accommodation for its proximity to Maibara rather than for sightseeing purposes, but its location is excellent for exploring Nagahama. I would love to visit again leisurely for sightseeing next time. I had dinner and breakfast at different nearby restaurants, both of which were delicious, and the conversations with the staff there were enjoyable. I would definitely like to visit those places again as well. The staff at the accommodation were courteous, and both the restaurant staff and local customers had a friendly demeanor that made me feel Nagahama is truly a wonderful place.

    Located in the heart of Nagahama's tourist area. The parking lot, available for free entry and exit, has spaces matching the number of rooms, ensuring peace of mind. Check-in is hassle-free with no waiting time, and check-out is stress-free by simply dropping the key in a post box. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Amenities are well-stocked, including skincare products provided at check-in. The room features everything you might wish for—juice, snacks, and more. The staff are also very kind. Highly recommended accommodation!

    Recommended for your stay in Nagahama

    Stay for 4 people in a family The hotel type is room rate, so it's quite affordable, and the parking lot is free to come and go, and can be used to some extent even after check-out, making it very convenient for car trips. The room was clean, and the service was attentive and good. I would like to stay again.

    Located in the center of Nagahama tourism, it is conveniently situated for sightseeing other attractions on the east and south shores of Lake Biwa. The Room is spacious enough and comfortable.     I went to Nagahama for the Agon Shu Goma Ritual.

    The parking lot was hard to find, but since it was near the Stays, there was no problem. I was a bit surprised because check-in was at a place like a real estate office. The room was on the second floor, and there were only stairs, so it was difficult to carry luggage. Breakfast was in the restaurant on the first floor, but the miso soup was cold, and the food was also cold. The room left an impression of not being very user-friendly. If there is an opportunity, I would like to request a room on the first floor next time. Thank you very much.

    If you're in Nagahama, this is recommended.

    The location is great, the atmosphere around the Stays is pleasant, and the Room is clean and very comfortable. The staff is also very kind. The complimentary drinks and snacks are a nice touch. I would like to stay in the detached house someday.

    A clean and relaxing inn

    Stayed overnight on the way back from Nagano to Osaka. I was considering staying around Nagoya or Gifu, but decided to rest here as recommended by a friend. It was very clean, the bath was spacious and had a sense of cleanliness, so I was able to stay with peace of mind. Also, it was closer to the parking lot than I expected, which was helpful as I had a lot of luggage. A staff member told me that fireflies fly at night, but since I arrived at 8 PM, I didn't go out to the courtyard. Next time I use it, I would like to look for them. It is a very convenient location for sightseeing, and the itinerary proceeded without any time loss.
