    It's like a private villa in Okinawa.

    In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

    It was a comfortable stay.

    We stayed as a family of six. The living room and kitchen were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed a comfortable stay in a Room with an ocean view. There was no cleaning service during our 2-night stay, but towels and amenities were sufficiently provided. It was also convenient to have laundry and drying facilities available. The breakfast at the café next door was very delicious. However, there was no elevator, which made carrying heavy suitcases challenging.

    Despite some issues, a highly satisfying condominium.

    Highlights: - Stunning ocean view - Clean and well-maintained (no insects, no dirt) - Two shower rooms and two toilets available - Well-stocked amenities (especially the brush) - Modern and clean facilities - Kitchen plates are traditional Yachimun pottery - Stylish design in shared spaces like staircases - Complimentary drink tickets for the café included - Easy check-in and check-out process Although there was an issue with the hot water in the bathroom, it was promptly resolved even late at night. (It might have been due to our misuse.) The location is excellent, with restaurants like Seaside Drive-In within walking distance. It’s a fantastic accommodation overall. We didn’t dine here, but the adjacent café offers a menu that looks delicious while enjoying an ocean view. We would love to stay here again!
