    It was truly wonderful!

    Despite staying during the busiest season, the accommodation provided very flexible and prompt services such as early check-in and same-day BBQ equipment rental. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy an amazing BBQ while admiring the beautiful scenery. The pool was clean with hardly any insects floating, making it pleasant to swim even in the morning. Additionally, the refrigerator was stocked with beer, juice, and tea—such thoughtful hospitality! Shopping was convenient as there were supermarkets, convenience stores, and a Daiso near Sesoko Island Bridge. Although I had seen reviews mentioning "many insects" and was a bit worried beforehand, there were almost none in reality. Measures like insect repellents and sprays were well-prepared, providing a sense of security. At night, we could see an incredible view of stars! The only minor inconvenience was having to use stone stairs when carrying luggage from the parking lot—it was slightly challenging. However, even considering that small issue, our stay was absolutely satisfying. This place has made it onto my list of "places I want to visit again"!

    Terrible facility and service.

    A month ago, we made a reservation and explained the family composition in advance. However, upon arriving at the accommodation "Sesoko Sansui" in Okinawa, we found that there were steep 36 concrete stairs leading to the facility entrance. Without climbing these stairs, it was impossible to stay at the accommodation. Moreover, the first 16 steps had no handrails or lighting and were extremely steep. Since our flight schedule caused us to check in around 7 PM and the area is surrounded by forest, it was pitch dark with no visibility of the steps. The stairs were not suitable for a 70-year-old grandfather who found them too frightening to climb. The grandmother also gave up trying. Carrying one- and two-year-old babies up those stairs was absolutely impossible as well. As a result, we had to give up staying without even spending one night. We contacted the facility manager but found that there were no photos or information about these entrance stairs on their site or any prior notice provided about them. While they mentioned that the height of these stairs was around five meters during our conversation, in reality, there are 36 steps with a height exceeding 15 meters—clearly lacking any safety standards. When requesting cancellation support due to this issue, although they admitted fault on their part, they refused refunding for cancellation fees and subsequently ignored all calls from us. When contacting IKYU.com for assistance regarding this matter instead—they simply stated decisions must be resolved directly between guests & management themselves repeatedly without further help offered either way! Ultimately though—the most problematic party remains being Sesoko Sansui itself: refusing communication via email/phone altogether despite charging ¥570k total across three nights yet leaving guests unable even reaching basic entry-point access safely!
