    The Room was spacious, clean, and very nice. The staff were also kind. I would like to stay here again.

    A Special Summer Retreat

    This is our fourth summer stay, and Hakuba Mountainside never disappoints no matter how many times we visit. The Facility is always kept clean and comfortable, and the front desk and housekeeping staff are polite and friendly, making every stay truly pleasant. The kitchen is also very well equipped, with plenty of cookware for anyone who wants to enjoy serious home cooking. Our summer holiday starts with waking up to birdsong in the morning. We then enjoy a walk, followed by a leisurely lunch with fresh local vegetables and naturally leavened bread. In the afternoon we take a nap, and in the evening we head to Happo-no-Yu, famous for its highly alkaline waters. Soaking slowly while taking in the view from the open-air bath is pure bliss. At night we go to bed early with a book—this luxurious, peaceful day is something we repeat every year. And by the end of our trip—perhaps thanks to Happo-no-Yu—our skin feels wonderfully smooth and makeup goes on surprisingly well, which has become one of our annual pleasures too.

    A Comfortable Condominium

    I made a Reservation for one night. I arrived early, but was able to check in at 2:00 PM. The 2LDK layout had a toilet and shower room in each Room, so we could bathe without worrying about timing. The living room was spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. Since this stay was only for one night, we didn’t cook, but there are two large supermarkets in town, so it wasn’t an issue. It’s right in front of the slopes, and I think it’s about a 1-minute walk to the lift. It’s also an excellent place for winter skiing. In the morning, the birdsong was wonderful and made for a very comfortable stay. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

    It was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave.

    I stayed for three nights and chose this Facility with a kitchen because eating out continuously tends to affect my health, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. 〇 The view from the window was stunning. The mountain weather changed rapidly between sunny, cloudy, and rainy, but just gazing at it helped relieve stress. 〇 Great location. It was very quiet on the outskirts of town, though having a car might be necessary. 〇 Very comfortable facilities. The modern design catered to international standards with high ceilings and wider hallways compared to typical Japanese homes. We used the master bedroom with a bathtub, but there were also two other rooms with en-suite shower rooms available. The bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathtub added to our relaxation. This place is ideal for families as well! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking; we enjoyed fresh local vegetables we bought nearby. 〇 Excellent amenities such as diffusers and luxurious-scented shampoos that left my hair smooth and hydrated. 〇 Secure environment: As it's a condominium-style Facility with an auto-lock entrance door, I felt safe from intruders or even bears! Given current times, I preferred this over cottage-style accommodations for peace of mind. The stay allowed me to relax at my own pace as if I were at home; I believe even longer stays here would remain stress-free due to its comfort level—I didn’t want to leave! I look forward to visiting again in another season!

    I stayed during the September holiday. There were no issues with the facilities. Thank you for picking me up from Hakuba Station even though I arrived late and outside of the regular hours.
