  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  While breathing in the fresh air of Asuka, I truly enjoyed the attentive hospitality that was present without being intrusive. Dinner at Da terra was also a wonderful meal that delighted both body and mind. There was nothing to complain about, but if I had to mention something, it would be breakfast. I’m not sure instant noodles are the best choice. Also, the one-size-fits-all sleepwear was a bit small... Just minor details.

  Second stay

  The review is a bit late, but I had another absolutely satisfying stay! There are many points I would recommend, but especially the manager's exceptional hospitality and the relaxing atmosphere that allows you to feel a sense of escape from everyday life. This is an accommodation I would love to use for special occasions in the future. I am already looking forward to visiting again this autumn!

  It was excellent.

  Thanks to Shinra-juku, we had a wonderful trip. The early morning walk to Amakashi Hill and Asuka Temple, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, was refreshing and uplifting. Although we have visited Asuka Village several times before, thanks to the manager's thoughtful guidance, we were able to see beautiful scenery of Asuka Village that we had never seen before. The accommodation was spacious with a lovely interior design, making us feel like staying in all day. It was truly relaxing. The bathroom was also large with two showers, allowing two adults to enjoy a comfortable bath together. Above all, being able to stay for 31 hours gave us more flexibility in planning our trip. This time, as it was a journey combined with cherry blossom viewing in Yoshino and there were uncertainties about the weather and blooming conditions, the 31-hour stay allowed us to adjust our plans for the best experience. To be honest (apologies), compared to typical accommodations where you check-in at 3 PM and are asked to leave by 10 or 11 AM the next day, this level of satisfaction is on another level. Our children also loved it very much and are already saying they want to come back next year—and maybe stay for two nights next time! We look forward to visiting again soon!

  TIME AND TIDE

  I was able to relax.

  I stayed for nearly 24 hours. The staff were courteous, and the room was clean, making it a very satisfying stay. I would like to visit again in a different season.

  I found this inn and...

  I found this inn and stayed here to fulfill the wish of a friend who had long wanted to "drink sake on the veranda while watching the moon" for their 60th birthday celebration. When we arrived at the nearest bus stop, there were more houses around than I expected, so we got a bit lost. Friends who arrived earlier also wandered around not knowing the way from the bus stop, but the manager kindly came out to meet us, which was much appreciated in the hot weather. Additionally, the manager surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate the 60th birthday, which was both surprising and touching. The inn was clean, with amenities and facilities that were just right. The smell of mosquito coils and the sound of geta clogs on the dirt floor felt nostalgic, allowing us to relax. Without the sound of a TV, we could forget our usual lives and enjoy an extraordinary experience. We were startled when bugs appeared in the room, but I think it's unavoidable in that environment. At night, my friend's long-held wish came true as we were able to watch the moon from the veranda, making it a truly memorable occasion. The time from check-in to check-out flew by, and we were very reluctant to leave. Thank you very much.
