I’m very satisfied with the meals at this new accommodation.
At first, I thought it was an apartment building and walked right past it. As soon as I was shown to the Room, I was greeted by a wonderful view and a calm, relaxing interior. At night, we could look up at the sky from the rooftop—the stars were beautiful. The Accommodation has a sauna, but I was disappointed that there was no chair in the shower room. It’s also a shame that you can’t see the view while soaking in the open-air bath—though you can if you stand up. Perhaps this is due to health department guidance. The meals were delicious and very generous in portion size; even our big-eating family member was completely satisfied. That said, for an Accommodation at this price point, a 10:00 checkout is far too early. Still, there is a nearby seaside market (“Umi no Eki”), which was very convenient for buying souvenirs. Driving along the seawall was also enjoyable.

A Calming Private Retreat
Having just opened last October, there were no Reviews, so I visited with some honest anxiety. In the end, that worry was unnecessary, and it turned into a very comfortable one-night stay. For reference, I stayed with my 18-month-old son and my grandfather who has difficulty walking. Since the entire building is covered with tatami mats, we left our shoes at the front desk and were able to relax in an open, comfortable environment. We stayed in a Room on the 9th floor, and when we got off the elevator it felt like that whole floor was essentially ours—very private and wonderful. The elevator was also tatami-covered, which made it even more comfortable. Our child could walk around freely without us worrying about getting hurt (though you do need to be careful around doors). I’ll share some details that aren’t well covered due to the limited number of Reviews: - The layout shows a cold-water bath in the Room, but it can also be used as an open-air bath. You fill it yourself. - The Room refrigerator included bottled beer, canned chu-hi, apple liquor, Aquarius sports drink, boxed juice drinks, and bottled cola. - Still water at room temperature (500 ml PET bottle). - The Room freezer included block ice and Häagen-Dazs. - Large windows with an amazing view. - You don’t need to bring towels from your Room; towels are available at the public bath. - The public bath includes a deep bath (with jet features), lukewarm bath, hot bath, milky-white bathwater bath, open-air bath(s), sauna, and cold-water bath. - There is a diaper-changing area in the public-bath changing room and a dedicated diaper trash bin. - They lent us a baby chair at the dining venue. - They also lent us a cradle. - Keurig coffee machine - ReFa hair dryer We ordered the crab course meal this time, and it was very filling. We’re big eaters—we even start by asking whether other Accommodations have a buffet when comparing—but I was surprised by how much food there was for a course meal. I wanted to eat the finishing rice porridge dish too but ended up completely full from crab. Sorry for leaving some behind… There is a course menu list provided; however there wasn’t an explanation of what each individual dish was as it came out, so I think that would be helpful. That said, all of the staff were wonderful people and we truly had a very comfortable stay. They even suggested things like lending us a cradle—it really felt like they cared about guests personally. It was such a calming and pleasant time for us.
