    I’d been interested ...

    I’d been interested since the renovation but hadn’t had the chance to stay. Then I found a limited-date Plan, the weather looked great, so I went ahead and made a Reservation! Check-in was smooth, and our Room faced Shinsui Park right in front—great view! Access is convenient with a nearby bus stop, and Atami Ginza is close as well, so finding places to eat isn’t a problem. The Facility is new and mostly barrier-free. The price is also within a range where bringing the family is worth considering, making this Accommodation one of my options going forward.

    It was excellent.

    The Room is spacious, and having a dining table is a nice touch. Many of the staff are from Nepal, but they are studying Japanese and their service was very pleasant, which left a great impression. This is an Accommodation I hope will continue to do well in the future. If I come to Atami again, I would like to stay here again.

    A Filial Trip to See the Atami Fireworks

    After hearing my parents talk about how wonderful the Atami fireworks they saw long ago were, I looked for an Accommodation where we could watch the fireworks from our Room and chose Nagisakan. They reserved a 10th-floor Room for us, and from the terrace we had an unobstructed view of the fireworks right in front of us—it was truly moving. Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind, and it was a trip we were completely satisfied with. Thank you very much!

    My impression of Atami has completely changed.

    It was my first time staying in Atami in over 10 years. I used to think of it as a slightly run-down beach area, but this visit completely changed that impression. I had always associated the seaside with families and younger travelers, so I was truly impressed to find such a wonderful, calm Hotel for adults. From the balcony, the open-air bath in the Room, the large public bath, and even the restaurant, you can take your time enjoying ocean views from everywhere—the location is genuinely outstanding. Thanks to that, I was able to feel summer again for the first time in a while. The Room was also spacious, and I could relax comfortably throughout my stay. Most memorable of all was the service from the staff. There were many international staff members as well, and everyone provided polished, professional hospitality—I was genuinely impressed. Each person showed great awareness and thoughtful attention to detail, and there wasn’t a single moment during my stay that felt unpleasant. It even made me wonder whether it’s due to excellent staff training as a Hotel or simply how high-caliber the team is (something I haven’t felt at newer hotels recently). Of course, the Japanese staff also offered subtle care with a distinctly Japanese spirit of hospitality, which made me feel at ease (their help arranging taxis was especially appreciated). The large public bath was clean, and the ocean view from there is superb. Since the Hotel isn’t overly large, getting to places like the restaurant or public bath only required using elevators; I traveled with my father who has difficulty walking, so this convenience really helped reduce strain. The Room, views, Onsen facilities (hot springs), location—and especially the service—were all excellent; honestly, it felt like “there’s nothing bad about this place.” There’s also a bus stop right in front for easy access from Atami Station area (Atami), and a convenience store next door. Atami Ginza Shopping Street is within walking distance with plenty of dining options, so even with No Meals Included it seems perfectly fine. When I visit Atami again, I would absolutely love to stay here again.

    Simply wonderful.

    I visit Atami every year to watch the fireworks, and this time I stayed here for the first time so I could relax and enjoy them from my Room. You provided a quiet Room just as I requested, and everything was wonderful—the cleanliness, the view, the amenities, the meals, and everyone’s hospitality. Breakfast in particular was excellent, and even my wife, who isn’t usually a fan of kaiseki cuisine, seemed very satisfied. The timing of each dish was perfect as well, so we enjoyed everything at a comfortable pace. The Onsen in the large public bath felt lukewarm—perhaps because it was summer—and I noticed a strong chlorine smell. However, the bath in our Room was very spacious and spotless, so it worked out well. I was also happy to receive a beautiful folding fan when I added your official account on social media. The only disappointment was that due to the weather the fireworks launch location changed that day, so the view was different than usual. Still, I would love to stay with you again on another occasion. Thank you very much.

    Fireworks are wonderful.

    With a convenience store next door and a shopping street and the beach within walking distance, the location is excellent. As for the Facility, it was inconvenient that there was no microwave. There is a coffee machine, but it was disappointing that there were no coffee cups. The Onsen has fairly high steps, so it may be difficult to enter if you have limited mobility. It’s best not to expect too much from the all-you-can-drink option. Because the route from the parking lot is flat, it’s relatively easy to access even if you are injured. You can see fireworks from your Room, and it was also possible to watch them from the rooftop. Many of the Hotel staff are foreigners, and they were very pleasant—so much so that they even offered to carry my handbag.

    Excellent

    The building was new and very clean, and the Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner. It was spacious, and we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were also delicious. Although the staff were from overseas, they were kind and helpful—thank you very much. As it was our 13th wedding anniversary, we also received a surprise dessert plate—thank you very much.

    I was soothed by the breathtaking view from the Room.

    The Room was spacious and easy to use, and the view from the in-room bath was beautiful as well. It happened to be a full moon, and the moon over the sea was stunning; we could also see a lovely sunrise. I had made a Reservation for June, but had to Cancel the Reservation due to poor health. Since it was my birthday, I booked again with a last-minute deal and requested breakfast as an add-on at check-in. I chose the smaller portion because it was morning, but it was more than enough, and the dried horse mackerel was plump and very delicious. The large public bath also had an excellent oceanfront view, though I thought it would have been even better with an open-air bath. There was a drink corner near the large public bath with soft drinks and alcohol, which was great, but there wasn’t anywhere to dispose of unfinished drinks so we ended up taking them back to our Room. There were small ice pieces at the drink corner, but since there is no ice machine unless you go down to the first floor, I would like one placed near the drink corner as well. I’ve stayed at many Hotels in Atami, but this one felt the most relaxing—better than larger Hotels where getting around can be tiring.

    A comfortable Room and loungewear

    It was a cozy Room. The samue was comfortable to wear, and the fabric and design were lovely, making my stay feel elegant. There were also pajamas in addition to the samue, so I think this Accommodation is perfect for relaxing in the Room.

    It was a wonderful Ryokan!

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. All the staff were wonderful, and the Room was clean, making our stay very comfortable. It felt like staying at a luxury Ryokan. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

    The best place I stayed in Atami this year.

    This year, I’ve been traveling around Izu. Since May, I’ve stayed 6 nights in Atami (at 6 different Accommodations), and this was the best. The room was thoroughly cleaned—something that is surprisingly difficult. Many Accommodations have dirty windows or balconies. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Staying with your dog

    The private entrance is convenient, and Sun Beach is nearby, making walks enjoyable. It would be perfect if there were an indoor dog run (lol). The staff were friendly, and the in-room meals were delicious. It would be great to have a dog menu as well. It looks like a sushi restaurant may be opening, and I’d be happy if private rooms allowed dogs. I’d also like to try a Multiple Night Stay.

    Excellent location, Room, and food!

    A solo trip to Atami for the first time in a while. I happened to search on IKYU without thinking much about it and decided to stay here because the ocean in Atami is right in front of you, and it also seemed to have been rebuilt last year. I didn’t have high expectations, but… it turned out to be exceptionally good among Hotels around Atami!! 1. Due to recent labor shortages, they employ foreign staff, but the person who assisted me was from Nepal and spoke Japanese well and clearly understood Japanese hospitality—excellent service. I saw many Southeast Asian staff members overall, and not only their Japanese but also their training was solid. Their pronunciation was outstanding! 2. More than just being new, the Room layout is extremely functional, and the view bath is amazing! The interior design is truly excellent. Although it’s a Hotel, shoes are kept separate from indoor areas, so you can relax barefoot with peace of mind. With yachts moored right in front, the scenery is great—you can sit on the balcony chair and enjoy the view for a while! 3. The amenities—such as hairbrushes and razors—feel slightly upscale and are easy to use! 4. There is a large public bath on an upper floor; access to both the elevator and bath entrance requires a card key, so security feels reassuring. Soft drinks and beer are also free. 5. The meals were plentiful with great quality—a nice balance between Hotel dining and traditional cuisine—and everything tasted very good! The large public bath switches between men’s/women’s use; I bathed at night and again in the morning looking forward to enjoying the difference—but it was exactly the same! Since I don’t see any need for switching if there’s no change, my rating is 4 out of 5.

    Pet-friendly Accommodation

    We stayed on a Plan that allows guests to bring their dog. The Room and the bath were very nice. However, the in-room meal was a boxed meal, which felt a bit disappointing. I think dishes like sea bream shabu-shabu could be served in-room, but there was no hot pot dish. Considering the price, it felt somewhat lacking. Also, it didn’t seem like the staff are very used to dogs, and the following points concerned us: - When serving meals, they left the door open, so an inner door would provide peace of mind. - The dog trash bin had no lid, and there were no plastic bags provided with the dog amenities, so we had no choice but to throw away used pee pads and diapers as-is; we noticed odors. - Neither the human trash bin nor the dog trash bin had a lid and both were low, so we worried our dog might get into them.
