    It was a Ryokan with a truly special feel.

    We stayed for one night as a family. The views and atmosphere were wonderful—it truly felt like an escape from everyday life, a special Ryokan experience. We especially loved the design of the bath in our Room and the scenery. They also adjusted the water temperature for us, so our children could soak and relax comfortably. Perhaps because of the season, there were many families with small children, which made it easy for us to feel at ease—something we really appreciated. Dinner was luxurious; everything was delicious and we left completely full. Breakfast was also tasty, but we were a little surprised that the elementary school menu was the same as the adult meal. Personally, items like mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and shiokara (salted seafood) might be difficult for kids. All of the staff were kind and attentive, and their smiles were very comforting. It’s a luxurious Ryokan for us, but it was a trip that made us want to work hard and definitely come back again. Thank you very much.

    Thank you for the friendly service.

    We searched for a well-reviewed Onsen with an ocean view and decided to stay here. From check-in to being shown to our Room, and even during meals, the staff always served us with a smile, making our stay very pleasant. The meals were very luxurious and absolutely delicious. The ocean-view terrace was also beautiful, and we were able to relax at our leisure. This is a Facility we would love to visit again.

    I really enjoyed visiting the different baths, and the service was excellent!

    I’d been curious about Ubarakan for a while, but our schedules never matched and I kept missing the chance to go. When I suddenly got a day off, I was finally able to visit. After passing through the tunnel, I arrived at the parking lot. The staff hurried over and guided me. The Room with an open-air bath was spotless, and the refrigerator was well stocked. There are several baths, and each one has its own unique style—fun to try, and they left me feeling wonderfully warm. The dining area was a clean semi-private space where I could relax, and the female staff member’s service was excellent with a warm smile. Everything was delicious. Since I chose the small-portion Plan for dinner, I thought I could manage it and ordered spiny lobster as well—but I ended up completely full and left a little. Usually when traveling solo you get a small spiny lobster, but at Ubarakan it was incredibly large and very satisfying. The next day, the head came back as two big bowls of miso soup. This meal at this price—outstanding service and amazing value. I definitely want to come again.

    Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. We were extremely satisfied with this visit. We truly appreciate your hospitality, thoughtfully brought to life through your service, and we were very pleased overall. In particular: - The meals were excellent and plentiful. The late-night simmered splendid alfonsino and the amberjack sashimi were outstanding! - Attentive care from the staff down to the smallest details. We stayed with a young child, and you accommodated us with great consideration in every way. This was an Accommodation we would love to use again if we have the opportunity. (To the Accommodation manager) I imagine it is challenging for a small team to take care of so many guests, but please keep up the great work.

    Everything was great.

    The food and the Onsen were excellent, and we also appreciated that the Room layout and furniture had no sharp edges, making it a safe and comfortable place even with a toddler.\nThank you very much—we’d love to visit again.

    Spring Break

    We chose this Accommodation because my college-aged son wanted to fully enjoy seafood during his spring break. I’ve always liked unique Accommodations, and I had been keeping an eye on this highly rated one (including the meals), so I was finally able to stay here this time. The location and the wild design of the buildings, blending into the natural terrain, were fascinating and enjoyable. As for the hot spring water, it is not free-flowing; it is heated, circulated, and disinfected. However, we were able to use both the tunnel bath and the cave bath privately, which was great. We chose a Room in the West Wing, which is a bit far and has no bath but has two rooms and is reasonably priced. The Room’s style felt a little unusual, but it wasn’t bad. The meals were excellent. The abalone we came for was delicious—we enjoyed both grilled and steamed. All of the staff were young, pleasant, and worked very hard. Being surrounded by such rich nature made this a truly refreshing trip. We also saw kyons (an introduced wild animal species).

    We stayed here for a special occasion.

    We stayed here to celebrate a special anniversary. The baths and the Facility were very clean and relaxing. However, the family bath and the cave bath felt a little small, so the bath in our Room was the best. This Accommodation is one we would like to stay at again when we have the chance.

    For family trips

    We stayed here for a family trip. It turned out to be an even better trip than we expected. The meals, starting from the appetizers, were very satisfying. Perhaps due to the limited number of rooms, the appetizers did not feel like mass-produced items stored in a refrigerator but rather carefully prepared dishes. The sashimi was all fresh, and the bonito and sea bream were especially exquisite. Even my son, who usually doesn’t eat turban shellfish much, enjoyed it and was satisfied with its taste. The horse mackerel namero ochazuke was so delicious that it made us want to come back just for that. The Room was old but beautifully renovated and comfortable. As for the Facility's bath area, our child seemed to enjoy it as a small attraction. However, since there are many stairs within the Facility, those concerned might prefer rooms with private open-air baths. Lastly, the staff members were all very kind. Although we had some concerns about traveling with small children, we had an enjoyable stay thanks to them. Since we live in this prefecture, we hope to visit again during warmer seasons.     First Stay

    It may be far, but it's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Onsen without doing anything. We chose a room with an open-air bath, which was very convenient even in the cold weather. The quality of the Onsen water was excellent, and the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. There were various baths available; unfortunately, we couldn't try the tunnel bath this time but would love to next time. The meals were all delicious, and I appreciated being able to choose smaller portions that suited me perfectly. For seniors or women, even smaller portions might be enough to feel full. I usually don't find simmered golden-eye snapper particularly tasty, but this time it was soft and fluffy with just the right seasoning—definitely one of the best I've had! The room's living area felt a bit too dark for my preference; I would have liked brighter lighting there. Overall though, it was an accommodation I'd love to visit again—hopefully on a sunny day next time!

    Enjoyed exploring the baths!

    We enjoyed exploring the baths, especially the tunnel bath. We chose the small portion course for meals, but it was more than enough for us. We were completely full. The accommodation had both a charming traditional onsen feel and a touch of luxury, which we loved! The service was also wonderful. We would love to visit again!
