    A clean, great Hotel Accommodation for guests traveling with dogs.

    I was very worried about how things would go on our first Hotel stay with our 7-month-old Papillon, but we were able to spend a comfortable time. The dog run was spacious, the Room was fully equipped with dog amenities, and the complimentary drink bar was much appreciated. The staff were courteous, the facilities were kept clean, and the ocean-side view was wonderful. We have stayed at many Accommodations that welcome dogs, but this was an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A Highly Satisfying Stay

    This was our first stay, and in short, both our dog and we were completely satisfied. The Facility was spotless and felt very clean. The daybed in the Room was extremely comfortable, and we were able to relax and lounge around together with our dog. Unfortunately it rained that day, but the ocean-view scenery was still wonderfully refreshing. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation for the same type of Room again. The service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive—and left a great overall impression. There was also an excellent selection of dog supplies and treats; truly thoughtful service that anticipates every need. We enjoyed all of the meals and drinks as well—they were delicious. We’ll likely be back again soon, and we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you very much for everything.

    A Dog-First Accommodation

    This was our first overnight stay with our dog. The Facility was truly dog-first, and we were very impressed. Of course, there were also welcome services that made us happy as owners, and both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The dog run was spacious, and our dog looked like they were having a great time running around. Our dog loves both dogs and people and tends to go up to everyone right away, so we used the dog run when no one else was there. We watched from the lobby and the Room window, and noticed that other dogs played well with their owners even when many others were in the dog run—clearly well trained, which I really admired. The Hotel is close to the sea, so we enjoyed morning walks to see the sunrise as well. We were able to escape our busy workdays and spend two wonderful days with our beloved dog. We heard we could use the large public bath at Oarai Hotel nearby, so we fully intended to go, but it was hot at night and we thought we would end up sweating again on the way back to our Room after bathing, so we gave up and only used the in-room bath. It might be nice in cooler seasons, but moving around in summer could be tough. For the bath only: 3 stars.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    A beautiful Hotel from the moment you arrive, and it was stress-free that our dog could walk right into the lobby without hesitation. The complimentary free-flow welcome service at check-in was also excellent and truly appreciated. They even lent us luggage carts and a premium TAVO stroller free of charge—hospitality that left us completely satisfied in every way. The spacious grassy dog run was fantastic as well. Thanks to their partnership with Oarai Hotel, we were also able to enjoy a morning walk along the seaside. It was such a wonderful Hotel that I’d love to recommend it to other dog owners too.

    This Hotel offers an excellent location, Facilities, and service.

    I had an errand in Ibaraki and was looking for a Hotel where I could bring my dog, with the goal of enjoying the seafood in Oarai that I’d been wanting to try for a long time—this is the place I found. It was a wonderful Hotel that truly puts dogs first in every respect. We stayed in an ocean-side Room on the 4th floor, so the view was great, and the Room was spacious and spotless. There were also various dog-friendly amenities provided in the Room. Since we went out at night to eat seafood at the fishing port, I can’t comment on dinner, but after returning we thoroughly enjoyed the free-flow drinks. There are leash hooks throughout the building, including in the restaurant area, so even owners of large dogs can feel at ease. For breakfast you choose from options like a one-plate sandwich or burger; there was plenty of salad as well, and free-flow drinks were available again in the morning—very satisfying. In the garden there is a large dog run with wood chips and grass, with time slots alternating between medium/large dogs and small dogs every hour starting from 7:00 a.m. Both areas were spacious enough for our dog to sprint around at full speed, which made for great exercise. Even if their paws got dirty from running hard, there’s a free grooming room right by the entrance, so there was nothing to worry about. The only disappointment was that there wasn’t a freezer compartment in the refrigerator. When traveling with a dog in summer, it’s helpful to bring frozen fresh meals or freeze ice packs, so I’d really like to see refrigerators with freezer capability. Also—not exactly a complaint, but something that would have been nice—is a large public bath; though that may be asking too much (the bath in our Room was quite spacious). We live in Nagano and don’t often have opportunities to visit Ibaraki, but this is definitely a Hotel we’d like to return to.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    The all-inclusive plan meant there were no extra charges, and we had a very comfortable stay. Our dog also seemed to enjoy the spacious dog run. The harbor view from the Room was soothing. We would love to stay again.

    An amazing Hotel with outstanding staff service—highly satisfying stay!

    Check-in starts at 2:00 PM, but we were able to use the dog run even if we arrived earlier, which made both us and our dog very happy! The all-inclusive plan was truly luxurious, with a wide variety of drinks and even light snacks—absolutely fantastic. They also had treats and cake for dogs! The Room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner was a gorgeous course meal, and the freshly baked bread in particular was delicious—we were so happy we could get refills. The next morning, our dog jumped out of the cart and couldn’t walk, so we consulted a male staff member at reception. He called several nearby animal hospitals for us, which helped us so much. They also changed our breakfast to takeout—thank you very much for your support. It’s a wonderful Hotel and we were completely satisfied!! This is an amazing Hotel that I want to recommend to everyone. Thank you so much. We will definitely come again! We are truly grateful to the staff.

    We were able to rela...

    We were able to relax in a clean Room. There was a craft area where you can make bags, and we were looking forward to it. However, all the stamps had dried out, so we couldn’t get the paw-print shape at all, which was disappointing. We also couldn’t use the pens. We’d like to try again next time, so we’re hoping for improvements.

    The best ever…?

    It was our first time visiting Doggy’s in Oarai! At Doggy’s in Chiba, the buffet is unbelievably delicious—perfect for us as a couple who loves to eat. We liked it so much we went back several times, but in Oarai, everything was even better: the staff’s hospitality and friendliness, the cleanliness of the Room, and the overall service. Next time, we’d love to visit with our extended family too! It was so amazing that I almost hope it doesn’t become too popular (just kidding).

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    We stayed with two families at the end of April. First of all, the welcome drinks and food service were excellent. From soft drinks to alcohol and stylish snacks, we were already completely satisfied just with that. Our dog especially loved the goat milk service and enjoyed it many times. As for the Room, it was very clean and well maintained, with a great ocean view. The Room I stayed in (for three people) was the largest one, and since the bathroom was separate from the toilet, it was perfectly comfortable. However, the other Room had a unit bath, so they felt less satisfied. We also considered using the large public bath at your sister property, Oarai Hotel, but it was difficult to go there while leaving our dog behind, so we couldn’t use it. The outdoor dog run is spacious and has two areas, plus there is an indoor dog run as well—truly ideal for dogs. What we enjoyed most as guests was the dining. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and with free-flow drinks available as well, it was wonderful to be able to order without hesitation. We would love to stay again.

    Excellent

    Everything was excellent—no stress at all, and both the lounge and the meals were outstanding. The panoramic large public bath requires going to Oarai Hotel, but we could also use the lounge at Oarai Hotel, which was great.

    The dinner meat is incredibly delicious!

    I stayed with my wife and our dog. Due to a low-pressure system, it started raining from the time we arrived, so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor dog run or the views. Even so, we had a great time. The free rentals, such as carts, were excellent. The food was delicious overall, and the Hitachi beef rump roast in particular was outstanding—I even blurted out, “This is rump?” in surprise. Both human and dog amenities are very well stocked, so there’s no need to bring anything. All drinks—from check-in through check-out and at dinner—are included in the Plan. The only extra charge is for our dog’s meals. If I had to be picky, it would be perfect with an Onsen (you can bathe at a group Hotel, but it requires a bit of walking). That said, it was a wonderful Accommodation. Our dog was very happy too. Thank you very much.

    All-Inclusive & Dog-Friendly

    This was my first stay. As described in advance, it was an all-inclusive, dog-friendly Accommodation. I fully enjoyed the welcome service that starts at 2:00 PM. The Room we reserved was very spacious with an amazing view, and we were able to relax on the sofa. The meals were generous in portion size, and drinks were also included. Unfortunately, our dog didn’t run much in the dog run, but slept soundly at night. If I had to mention one thing, I think deodorizing measures for the elevator would be helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied and would love to stay again.

    Dog-Friendly First

    We heard you were traveling with a 7-month-old Yorkie. At the welcome service, they happily devoured their very first dog cake. The dog run was spacious, so they played a lot and also enjoyed the view from the Room. The only concern was that the floor was hard and slippery, so we worried about them jumping off the bed. The bathroom was a unit bath, but it was reasonably spacious, and we relaxed with the bath salts provided in the amenities. It became a wonderful trip to celebrate their 7-month milestone.

    This Hotel was perfect for guests traveling with dogs.

    Traveling with a dog means you end up with a lot of luggage, but they lent us a large cart so we could move around easily. The free drinks in the lobby can be taken to the Room and enjoyed at your leisure, and they also provided dog food, treats, toothbrushes, and more—and we even received a toy as a gift. We didn’t include meals this time, but other guests said the food was delicious. Next time, I’ll make a Reservation with meals included.

    It was very good.

    I stayed with my dog, and it was truly dog-first, which I really appreciated. I also felt everything was well thought out, such as having carts available to carry luggage. The meals were delicious. However, service took quite a long time, and although our tables were placed close to each other, they were not joined together, so we ended up speaking louder than we intended. (They did join them the next morning, which was great.) The restaurant staff member from overseas also worked very hard and left a positive impression. For the large public bath, we took the opportunity to use Oarai Hotel’s facilities. The view was great and we enjoyed it. One small thing: at check-in, I wasn’t sure what to do and felt a bit lost. Unlike other hotels, the front desk is not easy to find, so I think it would have helped if the staff member preparing the cart near the entrance could guide guests (and hand them over to the person who confirms names). That would have made me feel more at ease. When I spoke up first, they took my name and told me to wait with a drink. I would have preferred staff to approach guests more proactively. First impressions matter, so I hope this can be improved. Overall, this is one of the hotels I would like to stay at again.

    It was amazing!

    The Facility was very clean, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The dog run was spacious and well maintained—everything was perfect. We stayed on a weekday, and the accommodation fee felt reasonable. We’d like to come back again soon.

    Always together

    Our first trip with our younger Chihuahua. It had been a while since we visited Oarai, a place full of memories with our older dog. We stayed because Dog Coast Oarai has opened there. The service and hospitality were great. Some parts of the Facility have been renovated, so it felt clean. Dinner was delicious. I was happy that drinks were all-you-can-drink. They also offer welcome drinks, so you won’t have to worry about beverages. We’d like to stay again.

    I was very happy wit...

    I was very happy with the lounge service offering drinks and snacks, and even treats for dogs and goat milk. The dog run (including the indoor one) was spacious, and although my dog is a senior, we were able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace without getting in the way of other dogs. We chose in-Room dining, and when we opened the bento box there were many different side dishes, all of which were delicious. Breakfast also had options to choose from and was very tasty. One disappointing thing was that there was a large dog barking nonstop, while the owner pretended not to notice and chatted in the lounge with friends(?). It was so bad that other guests clearly seemed bothered as well, so I wish a staff member had spoken to them. On the other hand, something I thought was excellent: we often travel with our dog, and after feeding our own brought-from-home dog food in the Room, we always wonder whether it’s okay to wash the bowls in the bathroom sink. Here it was clearly stated where to wash them properly, and there was a designated washing area. Some people may find it inconvenient since you have to go down to the first floor, but I found it very helpful and thought it was a great system. It was unfortunate that we happened to stay on a day when there was a large dog barking constantly, but all of the staff were smiling and pleasant, and we had an enjoyable stay. We will visit again.     I had a relaxing time.

    We stayed with our dog. While waiting to check in upon arrival, we enjoyed complimentary drinks. The Room was spacious with amenities provided, and both the outdoor and indoor dog runs were large. The meals were delicious, and overall, we were satisfied. However, one downside was that the intervals between meal servings were very long, taking 2.5 hours for dinner. The long wait was disappointing.

    Relax in the lobby.

    It was my first time staying at a hotel with free-flow drinks, and I hope more pet-friendly hotels adopt this concept. I enjoyed being able to take out drinks to the room and relax in the spacious area while sipping on them. The outdoor dog runs were great, especially since they weren't just flat spaces. I wished there was a large public bath. It seems you can use one at a sister hotel, but I didn't feel like leaving my pet behind, so I used the unit bath in the room instead. Even with No Meals Included, there are seafood restaurants nearby to enjoy (I went to a conveyor belt sushi place).

    The dogs had a great time playing.

    This was our first trip to Oarai with our dog. It rained on the first day, so we couldn’t stop anywhere and arrived at the Hotel early. We enjoyed a relaxing coffee, and when we entered the Room, we were happy to see the ocean view. Since we get cold easily and were worried about chilly nights, we had requested an extra blanket in advance, and it was properly prepared, which was very reassuring. At the indoor dog run, our dog seemed to make friends with many other dogs, and they really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed our meals, though it was a bit disappointing that the wait time was long. Still, everything tasted great. All of the staff were kind and attentive, and we truly appreciate it. We would love to visit again when we have time. Thank you very much.

    We had a very enjoyable and wonderful time.

    I visited with my beloved dog to celebrate a birthday. There were so many welcome drinks and snacks to choose from. The dog run was available both outdoors and indoors, making my dog very happy. You could even make handmade toys for your dog. After a delicious dinner, there was a bingo game for everyone to enjoy together. The view from the window was lovely, and the pet-friendly interior design added to the charm. It became a truly memorable and wonderful birthday experience. As an Onsen lover, I would be even happier if there were large baths or Onsen facilities available. The staff were kind and attentive, making it an excellent Hotel overall. I would love to visit again!

    With two Akita dogs

    We stayed for one night. There are two spacious dog runs, and our two dogs enjoyed running around the grassy area surrounded by pine trees. Waste bags and paper bowls for water were provided, which was very thoughtful. There is also an indoor dog run that we used, which seems very convenient on rainy days. Free drinks, snacks for humans, and treats for dogs were available, which made us very happy. Many accommodations only allow one large dog per stay, but here they kindly allowed us to bring both of our dogs even though it might be a bit tight with two—this was incredibly helpful. The room was spacious enough, and both of our dogs felt very relaxed. We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. Thank you so much!

    Stylish Hotel. The staff are very friendly!

    This was our second visit. Our dog absolutely loves running around in the dog park here, and seeing their sparkling eyes and happy smile makes us so delighted. This time, we opted for takeout meals. At first, I thought it might have been a mistake since the food was served in something resembling a school lunchbox. However, every dish was incredibly delicious and felt like a high-end bento box! We were very satisfied. Additionally, all the staff were extremely kind—helping with cage assembly, proactively taking photos for us, and even going out of their way to research and print out information about the cutlery used in the restaurant when we asked about it. The hospitality at this Hotel is truly exceptional and made our stay so comfortable. We would love to visit again!
