    The breakfast is delicious, but the cleaning is not thorough.

    I stayed in an Executive Twin Room. The breakfast was delicious. The large public bath was not bad, except that moss had grown in the drain and turned it green. However, the Room did not seem to have been cleaned at all, and there were many pink and yellow stains around the bathroom and sink area, to the point that I hesitated to use them. In addition, the dirt on the floors and walls was severe—it didn’t feel like it had been open for less than five years. Since the breakfast was delicious, I hope you will improve cleaning standards and repair things like wallpaper.

    The Facility is new and offers a wide range of services, including complimentary drinks. Thoughtful touches—such as providing toothbrushes for two days—are especially appreciated. This is a Hotel that makes you want to stay again.

    旅行大好きだけど飛行機苦手

    It was really great.

    I’ve stayed at quite a few luxury and mid-range Hotels across The whole country, but this Hotel is casual and reasonably priced, and the staff service was especially excellent. We arrived at the Hotel parking lot earlier than planned, and while I was searching for sightseeing spots on my phone in the car, a staff member kindly spoke to us and said, “Please wait inside while enjoying a drink.” We spent time until check-in with coffee in the lovely lounge on the 7th floor while looking out at the sea. The food was delicious, and there were complimentary drinks including alcohol. Since it was Golden Week, there were various special services, and it was fun to see this Hotel’s mascot character as well. Because it rained, the view from our ocean-side Room was of rough seas, but the next day the weather cleared and the sea sparkled beautifully. Even inside the building, all of the staff greeted us cheerfully. I recommend it to families and couples alike. We would love to stay again. It was wonderful.

    Bath, Service

    It was excellent. Our family of four stayed here (two children: a high school student and a university student). We were very satisfied with both the bath and the meals. The Room felt a bit small once two sofa beds were added, but overall we were happy with our stay. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    It was a satisfying stay.

    The Shuttle Service from the station was very helpful. The staff greeted us properly, which left a great impression. We had to bring our bath towels to the bath, but that minor inconvenience was more than made up for by the excellent amenities and post-bath drinks. You can relax anywhere in the building wearing a yukata or loungewear. The free-flow drinks at dinner included a wide selection of wine, sake, and shochu, and it was my first time seeing a dedicated sake-warming station. Of course, I gratefully made use of it. The only disappointment was that, despite being in Beppu Onsen, there were not many types of baths. Still, the property was clean throughout and well maintained, so we were able to unwind at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much.

    Everything was perfect!

    First of all, the Shuttle Service from Beppu Station was a huge help! I made a Reservation for an ocean-side Room. When I arrived, there was jigoku-mushi steaming and a drink bar, and I was already full. The view from the Room was nothing but the sea—an amazing ocean view. I was truly moved. The Onsen temperature was just right, so I went in twice at night and once in the morning. Around sunrise, I soaked in the hot water while enjoying the incredible scenery—and I could even see the moon in the morning. With such a vast sea and sky, all I could feel was awe! The staff were kind and helped me choose a yukata together. The aroma room also had massage chairs, which really helped me relax! There was also a shampoo bar and post-bath beer; since I can’t drink beer, I had juice and ice cream every time after bathing. Even so, it was surprisingly affordable. The Room was clean, and best of all, taking off my shoes at the entrance made it feel like home—I could truly unwind. If you’re staying in Beppu, this is the best place. Thank you very much!

    Comfortable

    The view from the Room is excellent. The customer service is attentive yet friendly, making it perfect for a trip. Guests will likely use the large public bath most of the time, so the Room shower may not be necessary. However, note that the shower and sink share a faucet, so be careful not to mix them up in the morning. The meals are delicious. This Hotel is highly recommendable to guests or international friends without any concerns about dissatisfaction.

    Family Trip for 4

    It was a trip for a family of four. The Room had an ocean view, and you could choose between yukata or jinbei as loungewear. Drinks were available at specific times, and alcohol was provided free of charge during meals. The foot bath and open-air bath were excellent. A very satisfying Hotel experience.

    A Thought-Provoking Stay

    The rooms and facilities are new, well-maintained, and pleasant. The staff's hospitality is excellent, reflecting the effort put into managing the accommodation. While meals show creativity, they are satisfactory overall. However, the all-you-can-drink option with a wide variety of choices is a significant highlight. Although details will be omitted, there was one unfortunate incident. With increasing inbound tourism and guests from diverse backgrounds staying at accommodations like this, enhanced security measures are essential. For instance, replacing open personal storage spaces in changing rooms with lockers equipped with locks would be advisable. Even if valuables can be stored securely elsewhere, it is uncomfortable to think of someone rummaging through baskets containing personal items like yukata or underwear.

    Family Trip

    The hospitality was exceptional. I was especially happy that the ice cream was Pino. There was a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, which I think is great for those who enjoy drinking. The service was excellent, the Facility was clean, and I felt it exceeded its value for the price.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    I stayed at this accommodation during a business trip, and it was truly wonderful. The room was spacious and clean, and the complimentary drinks and other services were excellent. It was unfortunate that I didn't have time to enjoy the meals, but I look forward to trying them next time. Highly recommended hotel.

    This is my second stay.

    I had a wonderful stay last year, so this was my second visit. This time, I arrived by rental car, and the staff promptly noticed us at the parking lot and guided us smoothly. Once again, I enjoyed plenty of my favorite Jigoku Mushi in the lobby and thoroughly indulged in both dinner and breakfast. Although I’ve been experiencing morning sickness and haven’t been able to eat much lately, both the kaiseki meal prepared at our table and the buffet were delicious, allowing me to enjoy a hearty meal for the first time in a while. This time, my daughter was thrilled with the kids' room that we couldn’t use during our previous visit. It offered various toys and board games suitable for everyone from small babies to elementary school children as well as accompanying adults. The drink bar in the kids' room was also a lifesaver; even though I had to accompany her early in the morning, having cocoa made it more bearable. Although there were many group guests making dining areas somewhat crowded, there were plenty of staff members who efficiently cleared tables, ensuring a comfortable experience. Thank you very much!

    Better than expected.

    Solo travel for one person, stayed in a Mountain-Side Double Room for a Multiple Night Stay, booked through IKYU.com at a relatively affordable price. Shuttle Service was convenient: departure from Beppu Station at 15:15 and return from the Hotel at 10:00, arriving at the station by 10:20—very helpful. Upon arrival, there’s a soft drink bar in the lobby available from 7:00 to 23:00—much appreciated! From 15:00 to 17:00, enjoy steamed vegetables and eggs... followed by a tasting session of shochu and plum wine for two hours—a delightful touch! Near the large public bath area, there’s self-serve draft beer available from 16:00 to 20:00—truly wonderful! For children, post-bath ice pops are offered between 16:00 and 23:00—a pleasant surprise! The open-air bath offers breathtaking views of Beppu Bay right in front of you. The sauna is spacious and open from 15:00 to midnight (26) as well as in the morning from 5:00 to 10:00. The view from the mountain-side Room overlooks the highway; next time I’ll choose an ocean-side room instead!

    The Hotel was clean ...

    The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the Room was spacious and pleasant to stay in. Breakfast was delicious, and it was convenient to have drinks and ice available at all times. The lounge on the top floor offered a wide view of the ocean, which was very relaxing. It was unfortunate that we arrived late and missed out on the complimentary beer service. I think the pricing is reasonable.

    A Hotel Filled with a Sense of Cleanliness

    The facility was very clean. The Onsen and large public bath, in particular, had a sense of cleanliness, making it very pleasant to bathe. I used it three times. There were various amenities available (such as lotion, emulsion, body cream, hair cream), and I appreciated the system where you could choose your preferred shampoo and conditioner. The complimentary drinks after bathing were also a nice touch. However, I heard that children who are not potty-trained cannot use the large public bath, so my 1-year-old child used the room's bath instead. But I did see someone bathing their baby wearing a diaper in the large public bath. I'm not sure if they were unaware of the rule or chose to ignore it, but that part was disappointing. We also used the kids' room and found it well-equipped with toys for children of various ages and card games for families to enjoy together. My children had a great time without getting bored at all! The staff members were numerous and responded promptly whenever we needed help or had questions; their service was polite and attentive throughout our stay. In our room, they kindly arranged the beds by attaching them together for our children’s safety and even added guards to prevent them from falling off—this was much appreciated. This is my second time staying at Granvireo Hotel after visiting its Miyajima branch previously; this time at Beppu Bay did not disappoint either—it’s truly an excellent hotel! Thank you very much!

    It was great.

    The Hotel was clean, and the staff were kind. The welcome drink included alcohol, along with steamed vegetables and sweets, which was a delightful touch. The Onsen was slightly lukewarm. There were several options for shampoo & conditioner to choose from, which was great. The free ice cream was also a nice treat. I only tried the breakfast buffet, but it had a wide variety of dishes and tasted delicious. Thank you very much!

    A Day of Relaxation

    From the moment of arrival, I was soothed by the ocean view, relaxed in the Onsen, enjoyed a refreshing beer after bathing, delighted in the semi-buffet featuring fresh seafood and mountain delicacies, rejuvenated in a private aroma room, savored the complimentary morning coffee, indulged in grilled shiitake mushrooms and dried fish from breakfast to dinner, soaked again in the Onsen, and felt comforted wearing a yukata throughout my stay. It was an endless series of relaxation and complete satisfaction. I will definitely visit again!

    The hospitality was excellent. Every time we passed by, we were greeted, which left a good impression. The in-house services were also great, with free drinks, foot baths, ice cream and beer after a bath, and a variety of shampoos to choose from! I wanted to try some shampoos! We chose based on a hotel where children can have fun, and a room with bunk beds! There were some slightly dangerous spots, but the kids seemed to enjoy climbing up and down! The ocean view was amazing. I thought it would be nice if the kids' room was more well-equipped, but the kids seemed to have fun. It would have been nice to have comics for adults, but I was able to enjoy coffee and relax. The food was incredibly delicious, and the parents enjoyed the all-you-can-drink alcohol with no extra charge!! The meals for toddlers were luxurious, and I thought it would have been nice if it was the same for lower elementary school children. Overall, it was a very satisfying hotel. I would like to repeat my stay.

    A cost-effective Property that I would like to visit again.

    Last time in Beppu, I stayed at a Property in the Onsen town, but this time I chose this place for its view of Beppu Bay and the sunrise. The result was absolutely perfect, and it was really great. The breakfast, complimentary jigoku-mushi, free drinks, post-Onsen service, and the staff were all delightful. I will visit again.

    You can relax with children.

    I used it at the beginning of the year. Upon check-in, you will be healed by the wonderful view of Beppu Bay. The free drinks and welcome services are substantial. The post-bath ice cream was upgraded for the New Year, and the children were very happy. The children loved the kids' room, and we had fun playing card games and sugoroku as a family. There was also a drink bar, so the parents could relax. Dinner is a half-buffet, so you can enjoy your meal slowly without rushing from the start. The buffet doesn't have that many items, but each dish seemed to have a special touch. There were plenty of beers and alcoholic beverages, and my husband seemed satisfied. The bath was less crowded than expected, so we could take our time, and the women's-only aroma room helped relieve fatigue. Breakfast was a hearty buffet, and the Ryukyu-don was very delicious. The free drink service and kids' room can be used from early in the morning, so we enjoyed it until just before check-out. This time we had a mountain-side Room, but since it was on the 7th floor, we could enjoy the scenery and relax with free drinks in the lounge with a wonderful view. I would like to use it again when I want to relax. The staff were very kind. Thank you very much.
