A refined, traditional Ryokan where you can feel the weight of history and the bonds of recovery
It was a captivating experience, with the Ryokan’s dignified traditional Japanese architecture and its beautiful strolling garden that lets you feel the changing seasons. The historical stories passed down at Yoshino Ryokan were truly fascinating, and I have deep respect for the way it overcame the hardship of the major flood disaster in 2020 and was rebuilt with strength. This time I chose a Plan without dinner, but the Japanese breakfast provided was high quality, and the carefully prepared dishes gave me energy from the morning. The large public bath is small, but quiet and comfortable, allowing me to relax and soothe my fatigue. The warm and kind hospitality of the proprietress and all staff left a strong impression. In a calm atmosphere that has not been overly commercialized for tourism, this is a rare, authentic Ryokan that preserves the charm of good old Japan. With such wonderful offerings, it also delivers excellent value for money—I was truly satisfied. I would love to visit again in another season to enjoy this beautiful garden.

An Extraordinary World
A nostalgic space where you can experience the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras. The future of an accommodation that weaves the history of Heisei and Reiwa. Breathing in harmony with nature and a smooth touch to the skin. An accommodation loved by the land, waiting for people who cherish it. Powder snow dances towards Yoshino Accommodation Yuyumeki.

It was a beautiful building.
It was a building full of history. There are stairs, but it was a Ryokan that made me want to wander around. I went in and out of the Ryokan many times, and each time they kindly handled my shoes with a smile. Thank you very much.

A wonderful traditional Ryokan and the charming town of Hitoyoshi
I was deeply impressed by the excellent hospitality and the timeless charm of the Ryokan, which truly honors its long history. The soft quality of the hot spring water and the pure-hearted people I encountered in Hitoyoshi town made me rediscover the spirit of "Showa."

Retaining the charm of a historic building while undergoing modern renovations → Excellent
Upon entering, I was amazed. The flower arrangements reminiscent of a luxurious Ryokan, the charming Japanese garden, and the renovated interior with modern and elegant water facilities and open-air baths made for an incredibly comfortable Ryokan. It seems that the first floor was flooded during the Reiwa 2 floods, and it took two and a half years to renovate. While preserving the historical furnishings and decor that are worthy of being designated as cultural assets, the interior has been transformed into a comfortable and modern space. From the photos, I had imagined a somewhat old-fashioned atmosphere, but upon entering, it was nothing like that—I feel the photos don't do it justice. The staff at the Property were kind. The beds were fluffy. The baths were clean and pleasant. This place was a gem. I felt like I got an incredible deal.
