    A temple lodging with outstanding cuisine.

    A simple, no-frills temple lodging. There is no bath, so the Facility is somewhat lacking. However, in the atmosphere of Jōhana, a temple town, it offers more than enough in return. Once you visit, it will likely remain a lifelong memory.

    A memorable stay.

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. We stayed for 2 nights, and all three generations—my father (80 years old), myself (50 years old), and my son (10 years old)—were extremely satisfied. For breakfast, we had kabura-zushi for the first time this year, allowing us to savor the beginning of winter in Johana. Surrounded by beautiful folk crafts and with a magnificent Buddhist altar present, it was an incredibly luxurious experience. The other guests staying at the accommodation were also highly cultured individuals, which allowed us to enjoy a calm and peaceful stay. We visit Nanto every few years, so we look forward to staying again in the future. My father is also a follower of Jodo Shinshu Otani-ha Buddhism and wanted to attend the morning service but was too tired this time. He decided to save it as something to look forward to on our next visit. That was his only regret! Thank you very much once again.
