    Thoughtful hospitality without excess or shortage

    I visited with my daughter, and from start to finish we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable, unhurried stay. The Room was clean and simple yet well equipped with everything we needed, and the private open-air bath in the Room—available as many times as we liked at any hour—was truly soothing. The meals were excellent, especially the rice, and we enjoyed hearty dinners and breakfasts. We were also allowed to bring our own alcohol, so we brought a local wine; glasses were kindly provided, and it seemed other guests also brought their own drinks and enjoyed them in their own way. The proprietress’s hospitality was thoughtful without being overbearing—she checked in at just the right moments with a gentle word—and the pleasant atmosphere throughout made this a wonderful Accommodation that I’d love to visit again next time with my husband.

    Relax slowly and recharge fully

    Everything was satisfying. In particular, I enjoyed the horse mackerel for the first time in a while and was reminded how different it is from other types—delicious. The bath was at just the right temperature, and I could soak slowly and warm up to the core. It was only one night, but I was able to relax and refresh fully. If there were a humidifier in the Room, it would be even better.

    It was a quiet Onsen.

    It was a sentimental trip, and I felt healed. The accommodation with an open-air bath was beyond expectations, even though the price wasn't what you'd typically expect for a stay without meals. A beautiful room with a spacious open-air bath—both the water quality and temperature were perfect. I soaked while enjoying reading to my heart's content. The meals were incredibly delicious, accompanied by lovely live piano BGM. I can't forget the chestnut trees laden with fruit—I wish I could have had chestnut rice. I will definitely visit again!

    Not terrible, but not great in many aspects. Hospitality is below 50 points... I don't think I would stay here again.

    A highly satisfying ...

    A highly satisfying hot spring hotel with incredibly delicious dinner. The front desk staff is amazing, handling reception, meal service, and even piano performances—truly impressive! The private hot spring bath in the room is excellent. Highly recommended to everyone!

    We relaxed in a deta...

    We relaxed in a detached room with a private open-air Onsen bath. It was within walking distance to Lake Kinrin, so we could take a stroll after enjoying the Onsen or visit the shrine for New Year's prayers before breakfast. The food was delicious, but we were too full to finish the steak and rice. Breakfast seemed a bit too salty. It was nice that the Onsen egg was not seasoned. I thought it would be suitable for health-conscious people if the number of dishes was reduced and vinegared dishes were added. We were delighted to receive hospitality that valued the sense of the season with New Year's dishes and decorations.

    I was very satisfied.

    If you are looking for a relaxing and soothing time rather than luxury, this is the best choice. The bed was enveloping, allowing for a restful sleep. The food was simple but carefully prepared and delicious.

    Stay at the Stays

    I was nervous due to the reviews until I stayed, but when I visited the property, the owner was just normal. There is a lot of nature, which is very nice, but when it rained in the evening, there were many slugs on the wood deck and frogs stuck to the window, which was unpleasant, so I couldn't take a bath at night. In the morning, they were gone, so I took a bath. The water was very nice.

    A trip to celebrate my daughter's engagement

    It was a trip with six people: my daughter's fiancé's parents, my son, my wife, my daughter, and myself, to celebrate my daughter's engagement. We booked three rooms in the Oku-no-in and were able to spend a relaxing time. 1. About the facility: We were satisfied with the wonderful room that still had the scent of cypress, but the dirt on the terrace was a bit concerning. The bedroom had only a bed, which felt a bit lacking; I felt it would be nice to have some kind of accent furniture. 2. About the open-air bath: It was very large, and my wife and I were able to relax and enjoy it together. 3. About the meals: We were reasonably satisfied, but I felt the steak portion was too large. I thought it would be better to halve the steak and add another creative dish. My wife said the same. 4. Overall rating: I rate it 4 out of 5 points.
