    This was my first time visiting Ureshino Onsen. This Hotel seems to pride itself on being one of the tallest buildings in the Onsen area, and it really does feel like the highest around. The lobby is impressive—you can look all the way up to the 9th floor. The corridors on the Room floors also have an open design, making it a very out-of-the-ordinary experience. The Room felt a bit small for the price, but it didn’t feel outdated. As for the baths, everything from the changing room to the bathing area was tasteful—including the lighting—and I was very satisfied. It was a little disappointing that there was no sauna or cold plunge pool. The dining venue is clean, but there isn’t a huge variety of dishes, and the taste was about what I expected. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option is a big plus.

    The buffet was excellent.

    I stayed during Golden Week and thought it was a bit pricey even though the Room didn’t have an Onsen, but it exceeded my expectations in a great way! The rooftop Onsen had a wonderful view and was excellent. I usually don’t like buffet meals because the food can be mediocre and the atmosphere often feels unsettled, but this Hotel had a wide variety of options and everything was delicious, so I was very satisfied. I’d love to stay here again.

    It was a great Hotel.

    The buffet was great. I think the all-you-can-drink alcohol option is a good service. There isn’t a huge variety of dishes, but it feels efficient and overall good on average. However, I personally felt the sashimi and crab were not as good as the other dishes. I think it might have been better to focus on either sashimi or crab rather than trying to offer both. The Onsen was truly wonderful and left my skin feeling smooth. I’d like to visit again during a cheaper season.

    Stayed at the accomm...

    Stayed at the accommodation for the first time in about two years. The meals were delicious, and the room was clean and satisfying. However, I was disappointed with the cleaning of the onsen. The green color on the wooden parts of the bathtub, whether it was moss or mold, bothered me and made it difficult to relax in the bath. I would like to stay again, so I hope for improvements.

    We stayed at the accommodation for our annual New Year's family trip. It was our first time experiencing a New Year's buffet, and we were very satisfied with the wide variety of dishes and the extensive all-you-can-drink menu featuring festive cuisine. The room was clean and very comfortable. We even talked about wanting to visit again outside of the New Year season as we headed home.

    Business Hotel?

    We stayed in a Japanese-Western Junior Suite with a private Onsen bath for 3 people during our commemorative trip. Guests carry their own luggage, and amenities are self-service from the service room—a surprising approach for a suite stay. The meals were buffet-style with an all-you-can-drink option, but the variety and quality were not entirely satisfactory (the male staff at the meal reception was courteous). We were satisfied with the room and bath (note: no towels provided in the public bath), but we noticed guests from other countries (speaking Korean) using smartphones while bathing, possibly due to insufficient explanation of Japanese etiquette. We suggest reviewing either pricing or service/content standards for suite stays. Thank you for considering this feedback to improve guest satisfaction. Also, we appreciate receiving a celebratory gift during checkout as part of our commemorative trip!

    Stayed on short notice.

    On the way back from a trip to Aso, I stopped by Ureshino Onsen and decided to stay as it got late. I had been curious about this place for a while, so I chose it. To conclude, it feels almost like a Business Hotel, so it's suitable for those looking for such an experience. Compared to other Onsen Ryokans in Ureshino, this one might leave you feeling quite disappointed. The facility is old but has been renovated and looks clean. However, the selection of amenities seems lacking. Don't expect much from the customer service here. The onsen's water quality feels inferior compared to other ryokans in the area. The post-bath ice cream is nice, but having tea and water available near the bath area on the first floor would be better. As for breakfast, while there isn't a wide variety of dishes, the content is satisfying overall. With some more effort and improvements, I believe they could attract more guests!

    My first visit to Ureshino Onsen was amazing!

    The meals were truly delicious. There was no need to decide on dinner or breakfast times in advance, allowing us to visit at our preferred timing within the time frame. This made it possible to relax in the bath without worrying about time and enjoy meals at our own pace, creating an overall leisurely experience. We stayed with children, and they provided coloring books and snacks for them, which made us very satisfied! The plates for breakfast and dinner were stylish, and there were many cute plates for children as well, which made us happy :) Traveling from the station to the accommodation requires a taxi or bus ride, but since there are limited services available... having a shuttle service would be even more appreciated!

    Meals

    Stayed on the 3rd day of a 4-night, 5-day trip to Karatsu and Ureshino Onsen. I didn't have high expectations due to the extreme reviews, but in the end, the food was delicious, and I was glad I stayed. The building itself is indeed old, and while the room has been renovated, it still shows its age. We stayed in the largest suite room, which was spacious and comfortable. However, the refrigerator and TV were small. The bathroom in the room featured a large hinoki wood bath with natural hot spring water flowing directly into it—this was truly wonderful. The meals were excellent; especially the sashimi—it was even better than Yobuko squid we had at a hotel in Karatsu on the previous day. The free-flow drink selection was extensive as well; we enjoyed pairing local sake with sashimi. Breakfast was equally delicious. The staff were kind and provided excellent service throughout our stay. If I visit Ureshino again, I will definitely return!

    The Onsen was great.

    Stayed for one night with breakfast included. The onsen was very relaxing, and I enjoyed it multiple times. The ice cream was also delicious. The interior of the accommodation had an open atrium design, making it feel more luxurious than it appeared from the outside. There was a drink bar with tea and coffee on the first floor, which was convenient. Breakfast was served in a spacious dining area, allowing me to enjoy my meal without waiting.

    The squid sashimi was delicious.

    The meals were diverse and included fresh sashimi, which was satisfying. However, the room was simply a traditional Japanese-style Onsen accommodation with a bed added. Improvements such as replacing furniture with a sofa to make it suitable for work might be necessary.

    I'm sorry.

    The rooms feel outdated despite the renovation, and the meals lack the luxury shown in videos. Unfortunately, there aren't many places to explore in Ureshino. I apologize, but I won't be visiting Ureshino or staying at any Ryokan there again.

    A very lovely Hotel.

    We stayed here to celebrate my husband's long years of service. The staff at Hotel Sakura even gave us congratulatory words and a gift, which deeply moved us. Thank you so much! The Onsen and meals were perfect, including sashimi, roasted meat, tofu hot pot, cakes, and more. My husband, who loves alcohol, enjoyed the sake so much that he drank quite a lot with a smile. Our whole family is already talking about wanting to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    A Hotel with Excellent Hospitality

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my mother's birthday and my son's graduation from kindergarten. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. The room was spacious, clean, and very relaxing. The onsen made my skin smooth—truly a highlight of Ureshino Onsen. The food was incredibly delicious, and I ended up eating too much! There was also a great variety of drinks for children and alcohol options, which was fantastic. Including the lounge area, the entire facility had a calm atmosphere where we could relax while enjoying Ureshino tea. All the staff were wonderful and treated my son kindly, which we deeply appreciated. It became the perfect celebratory trip for us—thank you so much! We would love to stay again in the future.

    Comfortable Stays and Onsen!

    We used it for a family trip. It was within walking distance to "Siebold no Yu," so we were able to enjoy both the bath there and the Hotel's bath. The Hotel's bath was spacious and had very good water. The Room was also spacious and comfortable, allowing us to relax. The meals were especially delicious, exceeding our expectations, and we were very satisfied. The only disappointment was that the Room's TV did not support closed captioning. However, we hadn't requested it in advance, so it couldn't be helped.

    Disappointing

    I made a reservation because it had good reviews on social media. Dinner was disappointing. There were few dishes, and the tempura batter was hard. For a special dinner at the end of the year... The lunch buffet at other hotels is better. Perhaps due to a staff shortage, there were no plates or spoons. The bath and room were clean.

    The food was delicious.

    We stayed as three generations of our family. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we appreciated that the dishes were served on small plates and bowls rather than plastic tableware, which made everything look even more appetizing. The futon mattress in the Japanese-style room looked thin, but it was comfortable to sleep on. It was also nice to be able to choose patterned yukata for women and jinbei for small children. The only disappointment was the ice machine on the second floor: when we opened the lid, it was covered in frost, and all the ice inside had frozen together into one solid block, so we couldn’t use it. Other than that, it was a very satisfying Accommodation. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    The dinner buffet is amazing! All-you-can-drink alcohol and fresh sashimi make me so happy! Having a microwave in the room is much appreciated!
