    It was the best trip to Oita!

    An Accommodation I’d been looking forward to even before the trip! The Room felt luxurious yet relaxing, with tatami mats that made it especially comfortable. The welcome dango were also incredibly cute! Having a bath in the Room meant I could soak whenever I wanted—it felt wonderfully indulgent. On the second day, I planned to explore Oita from early morning, but I loved the Accommodation so much that I ended up staying until the very last minute before checkout. When I visit Oita again, I’d definitely love to come back.

    Highly satisfied

    The receptionist’s warm smile made a great impression! The complimentary dango was also delicious. The Onsen in the Room left my skin feeling moisturized and smooth after bathing, so I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, the noise from the Room’s 24-hour ventilation system bothered me.

    It was an outstanding Hotel in every way.

    It was a very clean and refined Accommodation. No Meals Included, but the complimentary dango service was wonderful. The staff were all attentive, and we were able to spend a comfortable time. There are plenty of shops both in and around the Accommodation, so you won’t have any trouble at night or in the morning. The in-Room bath being fed directly from the source with free-flowing hot spring water was truly great. Being able to enjoy a warm Onsen from the morning was pure bliss. The amenities and equipment were more than sufficient, and it felt like the furniture had been carefully selected as well. This is an Accommodation I highly recommend for anyone looking for No Meals Included.

With a fully equipped parking lot, it's perfect for those traveling by car. The modern and sophisticated exterior is beautifully illuminated at night, creating an inviting atmosphere that will make you stop and admire its charm. Upon entering the entrance, I was surprised to see a long line of people waiting—it turned out they were queuing for the popular dango at the attached café, not for check-in. Guests are treated to this famous dango as a complimentary service upon arrival—a sweet little reward from Beppu to start your stay. The interior design of the accommodation is exceptionally tasteful with a cohesive theme throughout. The dimly lit dark-toned entrance and hallways exude elegance and tranquility, transporting you into an extraordinary world. In contrast, the rooms are bright and clean with warm wooden accents. Custom-made counters and fixtures reflect meticulous attention to detail. I stayed in the "KURI" room during my visit—a spacious room where you can fully enjoy modern Japanese comfort. The bed features Simmons' top-tier model for unparalleled sleep quality, while the sofa offers exceptional comfort as well—making time spent in your room feel truly luxurious. The toilet is state-of-the-art with excellent functionality. The highlight of this accommodation is undoubtedly its onsen facilities. Each room has its own private onsen bath with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source at slightly higher temperatures—allowing guests to soak anytime they wish in complete privacy. Additionally, there’s a rooftop private bath with stunning design where you can enjoy soaking while feeling the breeze—an unforgettable experience carefully crafted for ultimate relaxation. Although there aren't many staff members visible around, their attentive service—from reception to cleaning—is evident through their dedication and professionalism. There’s no excessive service here; instead, everything necessary is thoughtfully provided without any inconvenience whatsoever. Meals are not included but this adds flexibility—you can explore local dining options freely within town. Every aspect of MURE Beppu excels: high-quality design, exceptional onsen facilities, superb comfort levels within rooms, and unmatched convenience—all harmoniously combined into what feels like “the ultimate onsen accommodation.” For those seeking quiet relaxation in Beppu's serene environment—I wholeheartedly recommend this outstanding place!

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    I made a reservation for his birthday! The room was very clean and had a private bath, which was absolutely satisfying. We enjoyed the onsen right from check-in!! The amenities smelled wonderful and were amazing. What I especially loved was the nightwear!! It was so comfortable that I want to buy it. Could you let me know where I can purchase it? Although meals were not provided, there are plenty of restaurants near the station, so we didn’t feel inconvenienced! It was truly a wonderful accommodation, and we will stay again!

    The Facility differs from the one shown in the photos.

    I stayed in the "Sakura" room. The reservation site's photos showed a white, soft-textured sofa in the room, and I chose the room based on that design. However, the actual sofa was a brown synthetic leather one. Since the type of sofa was a deciding factor for me, it was very disappointing to find it changed to a material I dislike. I hope photos are updated if there are changes to the room layout. Other amenities and facilities like the hairdryer were excellent, and I enjoyed using the private bath comfortably. I also used the rooftop footbath at night, and having extra towels in the room that could be used for this purpose was very convenient and appreciated.

    Returning to our favorite accommodation.

    If you want to enjoy Beppu's Onsen but are not a fan of futons in Japanese-style rooms or Ryokan meals, this accommodation is perfect for you. We stayed here last year and became fans! Conveniently located within walking distance from the station along the main road, it offers parking facilities. Nearby, you'll find Yume Town, convenience stores, supermarkets, and plenty of local cuisine restaurants. The room's bath is excellent, and the footbath café is delightful. The dango and affogato were delicious as well. The staff's service was outstanding—definitely a place we want to stay at again!

    The bath is excellent!

    I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The front desk service was similar to that of a Business Hotel, but there was nothing unpleasant about it. At check-in, I made a reservation for a private bath. The reserved bath, "Tsuki no Yu," was spacious enough to swim in and absolutely wonderful. However, since I visited during the hot summer season, the air conditioning consisted only of a fan, so I started sweating again right after leaving the bath. The room's private bath exceeded my expectations—it was large, deep, and featured flowing hot spring water; it was perfect! It looked even more spacious than in the photos and felt so luxurious that making a reservation for the private bath wasn't necessary. I used the private bath only on the first day and enjoyed the room's bath from the second day onward with great satisfaction. The room itself was spacious, clean, had comfortable beds, and supported Netflix and YouTube for relaxing downtime. There is a shopping mall called "Youme Town" right in front of the hotel where you can easily shop or dine without any inconvenience. If there's one downside about the room: because there’s a three-lane road right outside, you can hear traffic noise throughout the night. Other than that minor issue, this accommodation was excellent overall—thank you very much!

    It had been a while, but it’s still as amazing as ever.

    Enjoy a simple stay with separate accommodation and meals, featuring a room bath made of cypress (or stone) with natural onsen flowing directly. The café on the first floor is also very popular locally, offering delicious dumplings that can be enjoyed in your room if you're staying. We look forward to welcoming you again.

    I enjoyed the bath multiple times.

    Although the location was a bit far from the station, having a supermarket and convenience store nearby made it very convenient. The Room was clean, the bath was incredibly relaxing, and overall it was excellent. I felt like taking multiple baths, so having a bathrobe would have been nice. The Room's bath was so good that I forgot to visit the rooftop footbath. The complimentary dumplings were delicious as well. Regarding customer service, there were some differences depending on the staff member. Just being greeted with a smile could have made this trip even more enjoyable... There were moments of slightly disappointing service, but overall I am satisfied and would love to stay again next time. Thank you for your hospitality!

    New and clean

    In Beppu, we decided to dine out for dinner and breakfast as there are many restaurants available, and chose this accommodation with an onsen in the room for a no meals included stay. Since it is a new accommodation, the rooms and shared facilities were very clean. However, the elevator is small, so it cannot accommodate many people if someone has a large suitcase. The onsen in the room is sourced directly from the hot spring. The water is quite hot, so temperature adjustment is necessary, but we enjoyed using it multiple times. It would be nice if towels were provided near the rooftop terrace footbath.

    The parking lot is conveniently located next to the Facility. The Facility is clean, and the Room has an Onsen, making it very relaxing. However, there is a dango café in the lobby that attracts many external visitors and foreign tourists, which gives the otherwise tranquil Facility a somewhat chaotic atmosphere reminiscent of busy Asian settings—though this seems common in Beppu. Additionally, the café's operations are not efficient; even for complimentary dango, there is a long wait. It would be better if they prepared it in advance and placed it in the Room instead of focusing on variety.

    Disappointing.

    Arrived looking forward to soaking in Beppu's hot springs. The facility was clean, well-equipped, and the room was spacious, which initially satisfied us. However, when trying to use the room's bath after 8:30 PM, only a trickle of water came out even with the faucet fully turned on. To make matters worse, the water in the tub was almost cold—very disappointing. After 8:30 PM, there was no one at the front desk to contact for assistance. Even during departure the next morning, no staff were present at reception. Trusting other positive reviews turned out to be a big mistake. Additionally, the towels in the room smelled moldy.

    I have visited MURE ...

    I have visited MURE Beppu several times as it is my favorite. Having a private onsen bath with natural hot spring water in the Room is absolutely wonderful. Since I can't stay in the bath for too long, I enjoy going in and out multiple times. There are also dining options nearby, making eating out enjoyable. Although it's far from Tokyo, I'm looking forward to visiting again.

    Great Location

    Stayed in two different rooms over two days. Each room had its own private Onsen with natural hot spring water. The hotel itself is new and stylish. Spacious beds, decent futons, and plenty of towels provided. Amenities like an ice machine and microwave were available. However, there are no staff on-site after 8:30 PM, which might explain some inconveniences. The bathwater flow can weaken when multiple baths are used simultaneously. Called the lobby at 8:28 PM but it was already turned off; tried the contact number for after-hours assistance but received no response. Received a callback from the lobby two days after returning home! Found quite a bit of trash left behind by previous guests behind the furniture in the room.

    The quality of the Onsen water is excellent.

    This was my first time staying here. The quality of the bath in the room was excellent. The brown-colored water truly felt like "golden water." It had great heat retention, keeping me warm even after bathing. While meals are not provided, the building is new, and the room was clean and comfortable. The explanation at check-in was thorough and polite. Although there is no luggage-carrying service to the room, if that’s not a concern for you, it offers great value for money. The complimentary dumpling service as part of the accommodation perks was also delightful. I received freshly made warm dumplings at 9 AM during my stay, and they were delicious. The location is close to downtown areas, making it convenient for dining out. I would love to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Beppu.
