We stayed for one ni...
We stayed for one night and two days. The Accommodation is along the Kamogawa River and close to Shijo, making it a great location. Check-in was handled by staff and went smoothly. We had a Reservation for a 4th-floor Room with a Kamogawa view; the Room was spacious and very clean. Best of all, the full-height windows let you enjoy an unobstructed view of the river all to yourself. You can even soak in the bath while looking out over the Kamogawa. Coffee and water were provided, and the amenities were well stocked. The showerhead and hair dryer are ReFa, which many women will appreciate. There’s also a drum-type washing machine and a small kitchen, which would be especially convenient for inbound guests staying long term. Inside the building, you can freely access the 2nd-floor lounge and the rooftop. The rooftop has chairs and tables, so you can enjoy the Kamogawa at night while feeling the evening breeze. We ordered shojin-ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) for breakfast, and it was delicious. It was delivered to our Room by someone who seemed to be from a nearby traditional restaurant or catering shop. The location, Facility, and food were all excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Kyoto in peace and quiet.

Improvement needed in bedding hygiene.
Located along the Kamogawa River, this hotel is convenient for sightseeing. However, the room I stayed in was at the same level as the riverside dining area of a neighboring restaurant. When opening the window, smoke from grilling entered the room, and it felt a bit uncomfortable being so close to diners with direct eye contact. For those who value privacy, I recommend choosing a room on an upper floor. The most concerning issue inside the room was the hygiene of the bedding. There were stains resembling blood on both sides of the pad placed over the mattress, which was unpleasant. Additionally, dust and hair had accumulated in gaps between furniture and behind the bedhead, giving an impression that cleaning was not thorough. The staff provided polite service and check-in was smooth; however, I hope for improvements in room cleanliness. If hygiene standards are enhanced, I would consider staying at this accommodation again.

This time, we used the property for an anniversary trip. We were very satisfied with our stay at the property, where we could enjoy a panoramic view of the Kamo River from our room. The staff's response was very kind and good. It has become a hotel we would like to stay at again.
