    Great!

    Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. Everyone I traveled with agreed it was delicious and finished every bite. The staff were courteous, and we had a wonderful time with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Thank you very much.

    It was great.

    I was looking for an Accommodation with an Onsen in the Room, so I made this Reservation. The large public bath was spacious and great, but what I especially liked was being able to enjoy the in-room bath as many times as I wanted. My skin felt so smooth afterward—it was very relaxing. The meals and evening drink service were excellent. Also, thank you to all the staff for your kind and attentive service.

    Hospitality

    The hospitality at Hotel Tsubakino is outstanding. Their smiles and grace conveyed genuine kindness. In particular, when I was asked which newspaper I preferred and requested the Nikkei, it was delivered outside my door the next morning. This was my first time experiencing that at an Onsen Ryokan. Their attentive service deserves full marks.

    The meals were incre...

    The meals were incredibly delicious. The flavors were gentle and suited our taste. The rice at breakfast was especially good. We weren’t very hungry and ended up leaving some, but we regretted it later. It was nice that there was a welcome drink, but it would have been even better if draft beer had been available. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

    It was the best time.

    This year, as my father retired and we had more time, we planned a family trip. It was our first time visiting Yudanaka Onsen, and from the moment we arrived at the parking lot, our expectations were high. While unloading our luggage without even calling for assistance, the staff came out to guide us. I immediately felt that this might be an excellent accommodation choice. The view of the Shinshu Five Peaks from our room on the 4th floor was stunning, and having two toilets and sinks in the room was a pleasant surprise. Above all, the staff's hospitality and meals were outstanding. The staff spoke calmly yet provided clear explanations and promptly answered any questions about food or sightseeing—it was truly impressive. The meals were so delicious that every family member said they wanted to eat them again! From Shinshu beef to Shinshu salmon, everything was perfectly prepared. Even small dishes like dressings or sauces had exquisite flavors! The balance of flavors in dishes like sweet vinegar sauce or pickled items left us amazed at how delicious they could be when done right. For our family, everything about this stay was perfect. We will definitely return again—thank you very much!

    A Long-Awaited Stay

    It was my first stay in a while, but it was as comfortable as ever. The foreign staff who guided me to the room and served dinner had a wonderful smile and provided attentive service. The fresh flowers throughout the accommodation, including in the room, were lovely. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and despite feeling unwell the night before, I regained my appetite and ended up eating a lot. The bath in the room offered the same enjoyment of mountain views as the large public bath.

    Casual

    The meals were good, but the ingredients could be improved. The meat, in particular, was tough and chewy. It would be great to have more variety for breakfast. The bath was excellent.

    We stayed here again this year.

    This is my second consecutive year staying here. I also stayed at this accommodation last year during the Oku-Shinano 100 Trail Run Race. This year, as I participated in the 50k category, I enjoyed relaxing in the onsen after the race and had a delicious breakfast the next morning. The manager and staff provided excellent service, making it a hotel I would love to stay at again.
