    It was disappointing because of a poorly behaved guest.

    Close to the Happo-One area, and conveniently located for activities. The Room was spacious and clean, and it was very convenient that the water dispenser was right next to the Room. On the other hand, there were a few concerns. 1) Most of the staff were foreigners, and I didn’t feel much of the Japanese-style hospitality you often find at other Hotels in Japan. Also, when I asked whether the large public bath was an Onsen, I was told “Yes, it’s an Onsen,” but after checking, it turned out to be just heated water, which was disappointing. 2) We had to wait a bit at check-in. 3) Both sinks felt a little too high. 4) Since the key could be opened with a smartphone, it was inconvenient because I couldn’t go to the large public bath without bringing my phone. 5) There were many guests with poor manners. Some people showered while standing up, and others made noise in front of the Hotel late at night, which was disappointing. What felt especially unpleasant was that while we were drying our laundry in the dryer, a woman with extremely poor manners put her own underwear and socks into our laundry. Overall, this stay was disappointing.

    Clear Skies in Hakuba

    The Room had a simple yet comfortable atmosphere. All the staff were friendly. However, the sink was a bit too high for washing your face. Breakfast was so delicious it felt like something you’d get at a café.

    There is an Onsen, spacious and clean guest rooms, and free access to ice and water. It was disappointing that the Italian restaurant was reserved for a private event at night, so dinner could not be enjoyed there. The yukata sizes were only large and medium, which were too big for someone like me at 160 cm tall; smaller sizes should be provided. The yukata fabric was overly stiff due to excessive starching, making it harder to wear. Yukatas should ideally be soft.

    Would love to visit again.

    The Room was clean and functional, which was excellent. For breakfast, you can choose the main dish from about six options, which was very satisfying. Great value for money; everyone was happy and would love to use it again.

    Stylish and clean Hotel

    In recent years, I knew Hakuba was popular among international visitors, but at this Hotel, most of the staff were also from abroad, making me feel like I was traveling overseas. Moreover, everyone spoke excellent Japanese! The hotel's interior design is uniquely stylish; the light fixture directly above the bed caught my eye as something special. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was made from a snowboard—such a perfect touch for Hakuba! The public bath was impeccably clean and spacious enough to stretch out and relax comfortably. What impressed me the most was undoubtedly the breakfast served at the restaurant on the first floor—it exceeded all expectations! You can choose a main dish such as Eggs Benedict, strawberry pancakes, or French toast while enjoying unlimited servings of salad, cakes, bread, and drinks in a semi-buffet style. Starting my day with such luxurious dishes made for an excellent beginning to my morning. This time I only had breakfast here but would highly recommend trying their lunch or dinner as well. I can't wait to return to The Happo just to enjoy their Eggs Benedict again!

    Highly Satisfied

    The guest rooms, amenities, Shuttle Service, breakfast, and everything else exceeded expectations and were very satisfying. All the staff members were extremely kind. If I may add a suggestion, it would be even better if used towels could be left at the large public bath.

    The location is good.

    There was a problem with the key, and there was no response afterward. I felt a sense of distrust in the handling. A bit disappointing.
