    It was an Accommodation that made me want to say, "I'm home."

    I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying again.

    The Room was very clean and comfortable! The breakfast was also delicious. With a flexible checkout time, I could enjoy breakfast and then take a walk in the neighboring garden, making for a refreshing start to the day.

    The atmosphere is good.

    The disposable amenities were used and not replaced, and when I contacted the front desk, they just said, "Oh! They're not there! I'll bring them over!" without even a word of apology, which made me laugh. There were various other issues, but a revisit is out of the question.

    The MUTSUKI course is not available for dining at the Hotel.

    As the title suggests. After arriving at the hotel tired from sightseeing, I was told to go to a restaurant that takes over 10 minutes by taxi for dinner. No shuttle service or taxi vouchers provided. I was appalled, but since there was no other choice, I tried to have a taxi called, only to find that the tablet's WiFi was not connected to contact the front desk, and I couldn't reach them. This is the first time I've experienced such terrible service at a property. At the very least, I think it would be considerate to not only write the address of Rokutsuki (Rokutsuki) on the reservation page but also mention how long it takes and that guests need to arrange their own transportation. I'm writing this so that future guests won't have the same experience. The meal at Rokutsuki (Rokutsuki) was delicious.

    It is disappointing that the guidance for dinner, etc., was insufficient.

    The facilities and room were clean and satisfactory, but the bath was an ordinary unit bath. We were not informed about the free drinks in the lounge, so we did not use it. Regarding dinner, it was supposed to be shabu-shabu at Mutsuki, but being unfamiliar with the geography, we did not expect the location to be so far. We were told at check-in to get there by ourselves via subway or taxi. When confirming the time over the phone beforehand, we were told it would be by taxi, so we were prepared for that. At the very least, we would like to request assistance for the outbound journey. Moreover, when we got into the taxi that was called for us, we were stunned when asked where to go. At the very least, we would like the destination to be communicated. In a hurry, we pulled up the IKYU reservation site and searched with the driver, which was the outcome. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, but it was unfortunate that the aftertaste was not a good one.

    I was able to stay at the best place for my 30th birthday!

    I chose Kikkokutei Bekkan for my 30th birthday! The Room was spacious and I was able to relax! I stayed in Room 101, and the garden and the bathtub in the bathroom had a charming atmosphere, allowing me to forget about my daily life! The breakfast was also very delicious, and I was able to fully enjoy the essence of Kyoto! I am truly happy and proud to have stayed there on my birthday!
