    Wonderful Hotel

    It was a very simple and wonderful Hotel! The location was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious! I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Kamakura!

    I visited for the sauna.

    The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the station. I wasn’t bothered by train noise at all. The staff were extremely courteous, and I really appreciated being asked at checkout, “Do you have any luggage you’d like us to store?” The sauna was so satisfying that I honestly can’t find anything to complain about. We were warmly welcomed and given a thorough explanation. In addition to a water dispenser, there was also cold sencha and hot tea available. The interior, inspired by a traditional tea room, was very spacious, and the green-tea löyly smelled wonderful. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    The breakfast rice balls are delicious.

    The breakfast rice balls and miso soup are delicious. The Room is comfortable and easy to relax in, and it's conveniently located near Kamakura Station. I would love to stay here again.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    The route from the station was a bit tricky at first, but once you figure it out, the convenience of the location is unbeatable. The staff were all very polite and courteous, making it a very pleasant Hotel to stay at. There were some discrepancies between the website description and reality, so it might be worth reviewing and updating the website. However, there were many excellent points such as the amenities, Room cleanliness, and breakfast offerings like rice balls and miso soup. Overall, it's a very convenient Hotel to use. We also appreciated your thoughtful support despite our oversight. Thanks to you, we had an enjoyable trip!

    Stay for 3 people is...

    We stayed as a family of three. The location, just a 4-minute walk from Kamakura Station, was perfect as a base for sightseeing in Kamakura. The overall atmosphere and interior design of the hotel were stylish, and the amenities were thoughtfully chosen, leaving a good impression. However, it wasn't ideal for three people to stay. Perhaps because we chose the cheapest room, there were only two beds despite being booked for three guests, with no extra bed or futon provided. Two people had to share what was almost a single-sized bed. This accommodation is recommended for couples or those staying for the sauna experience.

    Relaxed in Kamakura during Golden Week.

    Bring your swimsuit and enjoy the private sauna with your spouse. It helped me sleep better. Conveniently located near Kamakura Station. The Hotel has a great atmosphere and is clean. The staff are also kind and helpful. I would like to stay here again when visiting Kamakura.

    Kamakura Trip

    First Kamakura Couple's Trip During GW Planned a 2-night stay in Fujisawa due to lack of accommodations. Last minute, we reconsidered and found this hotel in Kamakura. Stayed at four times the price of Fujisawa. The good points: - After walking all day, it was great not having to deal with the crowds back to Fujisawa Station and being able to return directly to the hotel near Kamakura Station. - The room was perfect for me as I enjoy spending time on the balcony with a drink. - The Yame tea was delicious. - The staff were very polite and attentive. No real negatives, but perhaps the price is a bit high for just breakfast included and no onsen? A little pricey for us ordinary folks!

    Excellent location and breakfast

    Conveniently located near Kamakura Station, perfect for sightseeing. The tea-infused relaxation sauna sounded interesting, but since there seemed to be no washing area, I thought I might need to use the bath in the Room first, which felt inconvenient and made me give up on it. The highlight of this Hotel was the breakfast! I didn’t have high expectations for a rice ball breakfast, but to my surprise, the rice and fillings were absolutely delicious. The miso soup was excellent too, and even the pickled radish served alongside was tasty. Despite being a light eater, I couldn’t resist having seconds with different fillings. There are six filling options in total—I wish I could have tried the remaining three!

    You won't notice just from the site images.

    It seems like a renovated rental apartment turned into a hotel. Chose this accommodation because it’s close to the station and rain was in the forecast. The room was clean but felt somewhat basic in design. If the weather is nice, the location is great for walking around and trying local food. The bathwater temperature had its limits, so on cold days, an onsen might have been better. In hindsight, stretching out at Oiso Prince Hotel might have been a better choice in terms of cost-performance as well. Not sure if I’d stay here again; I’d want to compare it with other accommodations first.

    Check-in and check-out take too much time!

    Upon check-in, we were left waiting as there were four groups ahead of us, and the staff inconsistently served tea to some guests while ignoring others. Assuming tea was only for those who paid for it, we later realized it was due to the staff being overwhelmed. This unequal treatment left us extremely dissatisfied. Additionally, a Chinese couple next to us was using their phone with loud sounds, creating an unbearable atmosphere. Despite this disturbance, the staff neither addressed nor intervened. The lack of attention from the staff and poor manners of other guests made the waiting experience incredibly unpleasant. The bath area seemed designed more for foreign visitors than elderly guests; it was difficult to access and had lukewarm water even at maximum temperature with low water pressure. This led to frustration and eventually catching a cold. At check-out, we were again asked to wait in line despite having already paid a premium price through IKYU.com’s Diamond Status program. The service did not match the cost at all—breakfast was subpar compared to other places where we ended up eating instead. Overall, this Hotel provided one of the worst experiences we've ever had in terms of service quality and environment despite being staffed mostly by Japanese personnel. We do not wish to return again.

    The staff was very friendly.

    I arrived late at night and got lost on the way, but I finally made it. Although the Hotel is visible from the station, it’s surprisingly difficult to reach. The staff were very kind and helpful during check-in, at meal times, and even at check-out. The Room was small but didn’t feel cramped. The bathtub was large, so it took quite a while to fill it with water. The rice balls at breakfast had a lot of rice and little filling, but the miso soup was delicious.
