    A Cozy Accommodation That Fulfills Your Heart

    This was my first stay here. From the atmosphere throughout the Accommodation to the service, thoughtful hospitality, and meals—everything was flawless in sight, aroma, and taste. It was a truly delicious and enjoyable time. The Onsen is compact, but the water quality is excellent and left my skin silky smooth. I’m grateful to have found an Accommodation I’ll definitely return to. Thank you very much.

    First-time assistance

    We were picked up at the parking lot when we arrived, but at checkout there was no one at the front desk. (Prepaid) I ended up taking out my own shoes. A male staff member came later, but did not mention the shoes. The Onsen in the Room was excellent. The shower pressure was good. However, both the bed and sofa were low-profile and uncomfortable to use. There was a water dispenser, but no glasses—despite having coffee cups and teacups. Dinner was good; breakfast was average. It is far from central Yamaga City and felt inconveniently distant. Next time… I’m not sure.

    A perfectly balanced and exceptional Ryokan.

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my mother-in-law's 60th birthday. When we arrived at the check-in time, the room we had requested in advance was prepared for us, which we truly appreciated. The staff's attentive and warm hospitality left a deep impression, and we were thoroughly satisfied with the beauty and comfort of the room. The onsen, with its silky smooth water quality, was among the best we've ever experienced. Additionally, both dinner and breakfast were meticulously prepared dish by dish, offering exquisite flavors that made for a luxurious meal perfect for such a special occasion. My mother-in-law was overjoyed and said she was truly glad to have come. It became a memorable stay that made this special day even more meaningful. With its quiet and serene atmosphere, impeccable service down to every detail—everything exceeded our expectations. Next time, we hope to enjoy a multiple night stay for an even more relaxing experience.

    The best stay ever!

    This was my second stay at the accommodation. I arrived late, so I missed the draft beer service from 16:30 to 17:30. Dinner was excellent, especially the steak! At the bar after dinner, I enjoyed juice and wine. Breakfast with rice cooked in an earthen pot was very delicious! I would love to stay here again.

    The finest accommodation you'll want to keep as your own hidden retreat.

    Before check-in, staff kindly brought an umbrella to my car. The dining staff's attentive service with warm smiles and the excellent cuisine, along with the calm atmosphere of the room, provided me with the ultimate luxury experience. The Onsen was silky smooth and highly moisturizing, leaving my skin deeply hydrated. This is a truly satisfying hidden accommodation.

    I was very satisfied.

    This was my first time using this accommodation, and I was completely satisfied with the service, onsen, cuisine, and everything else. Being located in the suburbs, it was very quiet, and I enjoyed a sky full of stars at night. The rice brand served during my stay had a charming name. The only thing that caught my attention was that the open-air bath in the room didn’t seem to match the image of the accommodation. However, this is just my personal opinion and may not be very relevant. Next time, I would like to complete a reservation for a different room during another season. Thank you very much!

    The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bath had excellent hot water.

    We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Kumamoto. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious, and the staff's friendly conversations made our time enjoyable. The bathwater was gentle and relaxing, making it a satisfying accommodation. However, in the room we stayed in, the hot water in the bathroom sink quickly turned cold after a short use. We had to wait for reheating (as it was a type with a reheating unit under the sink), but it would turn cold again shortly after use, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the toilet space was extremely narrow; sitting down brought you very close to the wall in front of you... standing up felt like doing squats—this was quite challenging for older guests (though we are unsure about other rooms). Other than that, it was a quiet and pleasant accommodation.

    I was very satisfied and would like to book again.

    This was my first time visiting Kikuka Onsen, and I was extremely satisfied. From the warm welcome with matcha to the excellent quality of the Onsen water and the delicious meals, everything exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the Onsen. The water felt so good that I wanted to bathe in it every day. Even my dry, itchy skin improved after just one soak—it was truly beneficial for me. The meals were incredibly delicious, and every dish left a lasting impression. The meat was tender, and all the dishes made me want to enjoy them again soon. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful; even the rice cooked in an earthen pot was so good that we finished it all in the morning. This Ryokan is a place I would love to stay at again. Thank you very much!

    Thank you for your hospitality. We truly appreciate the warm and thoughtful service from each staff member. Every interaction was kind and made our stay very pleasant. From the front desk to the dining area, the relaxation space after bathing—every part of this accommodation offered excellent service, creating a delightful experience. Special thanks to the staff who provided complimentary beer after bathing; we enjoyed engaging conversations with them. The meals were all delicious without a single dish we disliked. The room was clean and well-equipped with amenities like a water server and coffee machine, which we greatly appreciated. The private open-air bath in our room was wonderful, as were the large public baths and sauna facilities. If I may suggest one small improvement: adding a net cover to the open-air bath in the large public bath would make it perfect. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Refresh your body and mind

    The staff were all kind and made my stay very comfortable. The facility was impeccably clean, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with gentle flavors that left me completely satisfied. The hot spring quality was exceptional, making it hard to leave the bath.     I stayed with my husband and son. The bath had a gentle, soothing texture that was kind to the skin, providing relaxation for both body and mind. The room had a semi-open-air bath, and the water quality was the same as in the main bath. The meal portions were just right for us, and everything was incredibly delicious. All the staff were kind and attentive, making our stay very comfortable.

    Thick and smooth spring quality

    I was able to relax and unwind. Thank you to all the staff. However, one negative point was that the entire facility was cold. I go on Onsen trips about 6 to 7 times a year, but I have never experienced a cold facility or a cold indoor bath in the large public bath. I hope this can be improved if possible.
