    Meal Reservations and Bathhouse Information

    Dinner and breakfast time slots can only be reserved at check-in, on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also no advance notice about this. While I understand the Hotel may want to manage seating capacity, this makes it difficult to plan my stay and is disappointing. I would like to see improvements. There is no wall between the large public bath changing room and the bathing area, and there is no partition separating it from the open-air bath area either, so insects can enter the changing room, making it difficult to get changed at times. Other services were generally as expected, so overall I was mostly satisfied.

    The Onsen is excellent.

    I visited once before it became TAOYA, so I can vouch for how wonderful the Onsen is! That silky-smooth water makes you want to soak again and again. Dinner felt like they really put in the effort, and everything was consistently good and delicious. That said, breakfast might feel a bit less impressive by comparison. We chose the most affordable Japanese-style Room, but it was very close to both the restaurant and the Onsen, and with two separate rooms it felt like a great value.

    It was my first time experiencing all-inclusive, and both the meals and the baths were excellent!

    We used this facilit...

    We used this facility for a three-generation family trip with parents and children. We had a comfortable stay. The facility itself felt slightly old, and the cleaning in the shared areas seemed a bit insufficient. The meals were buffet-style and delicious. It would be nice if there were some menu changes for Multiple Night Stays.

    Is this an all-inclusive plan?

    I was looking forward to my first all-inclusive Hotel experience, but perhaps I had set my expectations too high. The unlimited alcohol was a nice touch, but the snacks were limited to just a few types like bean snacks. Since unlimited soft drinks are fairly common at most Ryokan, it felt somewhat underwhelming. For those who don't drink alcohol, it might be even less enjoyable. The bath was spacious and relaxing with great water quality, and the service was excellent.

    With elderly parents

    When making the Reservation, I mentioned that I have elderly parents and requested a Room with minimal movement. They kindly assigned us a Room next to the elevator, which was very thoughtful. When I accompanied my father to the Onsen, the staff offered to assist him all the way inside, for which we are truly grateful. We visited the Onsen during the day, and it became a funny story as we laughed about how hot the stones in the open-air bath were! The meals were delicious, and we were also very satisfied with the all-you-can-drink service in the lobby.

    Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days.

    The overall cleanliness and tranquil atmosphere allowed for a peaceful stay. The main Onsen was exceptional, and the changing room was cleaned by staff approximately every 30 minutes, making it very comfortable to use even without partitions. I would love to visit again.

    The Onsen was amazin...

    The Onsen was amazing. Just as advertised, the water felt like lotion—silky and smooth—and I enjoyed it so much that I bathed four times. The large public bath was also very clean. The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was spacious and pleasant. The staff provided excellent service with a warm attitude, which made the stay even more satisfying. With the all-inclusive plan, there were so many dishes to choose from that I couldn’t try everything—it left me completely full and extremely satisfied. It was a wonderful accommodation where I could relax at my own pace.

    The reliable charm of Onsen

    Third visit: Always satisfied with the consistent quality of the Onsen. This was my third stay since my first visit four days after the renewal opening, and I was pleased to find no decline in quality. This time, I stayed in the annex for the first time, which felt a bit hard to locate and somewhat distant.

    Relaxing for Couples

    From check-in, everything went smoothly, and since both of us drink alcohol, we relaxed while enjoying drinks after soaking in the Onsen. The meal menu was abundant, but it would have been even better if there was a stronger sense of seasonality. The location is also close to Tsumago Accommodation, making it a great base for sightseeing.

    The quality does not match the price.

    One night stay on Saturday as a couple. Payment is over 110,000 yen. The appearance of the Facility is clean, but the Facility is old. The quality of the meal is low, with no sense of specialness at all. There are few staff, and since it's a buffet style, you have to serve and clear by yourself. After all, it's just a slightly upscale version of Yukai Resort. The clientele is not good, and it's not relaxing. If you are paying this amount, there are many other better Stays available.

    The room was old but...

    The room was old but clean. However, the view from the room was terrible as it only overlooked the roof of the building. The bath had good spring quality and was relaxing, but the bathroom was spacious, and the shower booth was cold, making it chilly every time I washed myself.

    The meals were delicious. There was a wide variety of wines and spirits, allowing us to enjoy tasting different kinds. It is recommended for family or friends traveling together.

    I was able to relax.

    It was crowded during the three-day weekend in October, but the bath was spacious, and I didn't notice other people at all. There were plenty of washing areas, so there was no need to wait for a shower. The water temperature was not too hot, allowing for a leisurely soak. The depth of the water was just right, and the rock bath, with various seating heights, allowed for changing seating positions, making it a truly excellent bath. Additionally, I noticed that the staff frequently checked the bath, which I found to be very attentive. There were plenty of bath towels available in the bath area, so it was nice to be able to have a drink in the lounge right after getting out of the bath and then casually return to the bath. Not having to carry a towel around was appreciated, and as someone who often finds themselves in the lounge, I thought the all-inclusive setup was very well thought out. Dinner time was well managed, allowing for a relaxed and delicious meal without any crowding. However, despite breakfast starting at 7 AM, there was already a significant queue before that... The crowd at 7 AM was quite impressive. I was told at the front desk that it would be crowded around 8 AM, but this is something that can't be predicted, so it can't be helped. I was very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. I have stayed at several properties in this chain, but I always find the cups for drinks to be small. I can't help but think it would be more eco-friendly if there were larger ones available. The staff were all very attentive, often engaging in conversation and quickly noticing and taking photos, which made for a pleasant stay with their thoughtful hospitality. Although it's far from my home, I would love to visit again. I also hope for the addition of a dog room.
