    Sea Turtle Sighting

    This was our first trip with three cousins. Since each of us had different things we wanted to do and we planned to eat dinner out, we chose this Hotel. The exterior and front desk feel a bit dated, but once we entered the Room, it had been renovated and was very comfortable. We were on a high floor, and while looking out at the ocean from the balcony, we spotted a sea turtle—so lucky! We had breakfast at the buffet in the neighboring Hotel, and it was excellent. Amazing value for money.

    Musty and unclean

    It reeked of mold so badly that I couldn’t stay in the room. I kept the window open the whole time. The front desk staff didn’t even greet me—terrible. In the morning, “Good morning,” at night, “Good evening,” when you go out, “Have a nice day,” and when you come back, “Welcome back”—is it really that hard to say? They just sat at the desk in silence. The environment was poor, and staff training was clearly lacking—I was at a loss. I regret staying here; I should have stayed at another Accommodation for the night before my next stay. I was stunned to see signs of neglected Hotel maintenance everywhere.

    Discrepancies in Check-Out Procedures

    Despite informing the staff during check-in and upon returning after dinner that our checkout time would be early (around 6:00 AM) to catch the first flight, there was no one at the front desk, and we were instructed to go to another accommodation. It is highly regrettable that such a response occurred despite the facility being expected to have staff stationed at the front desk and our prior confirmation.

    Great value for money.

    Last year's Room was musty and unpleasant, but I chose to stay again because of the amazing view. This time, there was no mustiness at all, and I had a very comfortable stay.

    Stay on the top floor

    This is my impression from staying at the accommodation for the first time at the end of May. Since it is a renovated apartment turned into a hotel, the elevator is old, the front desk is small, and there’s no resort-like atmosphere. However, the room was beautifully refurbished and very comfortable. You can cook for yourself, and above all, the view from the window was amazing. Considering its oceanfront location, I thought the price was reasonable. It may not be suitable for those seeking a resort feel or special services in a building. It’s recommended for those who prefer privacy. Staying on higher floors allows you to enjoy better views.

    The view is great. I was considering purchasing a BALMUDA, so it was nice to have the opportunity to try it out. The facility seemed like a resort condominium. I wish I had tried the breakfast.

    Affordable.

    I stayed here during a weekday in the middle of Golden Week. It felt like staying in one room of an apartment, but the Room was spacious, had a great view from the window, and was comfortable for a reasonable price. However, due to the old key for the Room, it took a lot of time to remove it. On the last day, I couldn't remove it and ended up leaving it inserted when heading to the front desk. I informed the front desk about this on my first day, but unfortunately, they did not check or address it at that time. This was disappointing and affected my overall rating. Despite this issue, I think it's a good Hotel for those looking for an affordable stay. Next time I stay here, I might bring some ingredients and prepare breakfast myself!

    Here we go again!

    How many times has it been now? I am completely captivated by Brisa. Being able to gaze at the ocean from the Room and escape from daily work is truly satisfying. It's perfect for a morning walk as well. Thank you always for welcoming us with such a clean and beautiful Room.

    This is a condominium, not a hotel.

    In the case of a Japanese-style Room, you need to lay out the futon and put on the sheets and covers yourself, but the futon felt damp and uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep. The Room is spacious as it is an apartment-style LDK, but the floor was dirty, raising concerns about cleanliness. The view was nice; however, the entire Room smelled like sewage, making it impossible to relax. I trusted IKYU too much. I chose a plan with breakfast included; however, breakfast started only from 8:00 AM. I mentioned that I needed to leave by 8:00 AM due to work commitments but was surprised when the front desk staff laughed and said I wouldn’t be able to eat then. On another day when I could have breakfast, it turned out to be similar to buying bread at a bakery near a station with service akin to that of a convenience store. It felt more like "you can choose bread" rather than "breakfast included." The meal consisted of salad, soup, sandwiches along with your choice of bread which I ate in my Room. Only green tea teabags were provided in the Room; if you want other beverages, you need either buy them at that bakery or prepare them yourself. Soup could not be substituted for coffee or any other drink. Overall, this stay left me feeling regretful and reflective after quite some time. I couldn’t understand what makes this place so highly rated at all.

    The unchanging scene...

    The unchanging scenery, no matter how many times you visit, is truly beautiful. I was able to spend peaceful moments with my mother during the twilight of her life on the island. I am deeply grateful.

    Perfect Hotel for Long Stays

    Spacious ocean-view rooms equipped with essential amenities such as a kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, and washing machine make this hotel ideal for long-term stays. Guests can also enjoy the well-equipped facilities within Shigira Resort, including pools, Onsen, restaurants, and a convenient shuttle bus service within the resort. However, some inconveniences include needing to visit the bakery in the resort for breakfast, no ice machine available, and only one portion of laundry detergent provided.

    I would say it's a bit of a luxury, but I wish there was a perfectly fitting chair for the washbasin. However, the atmosphere of the Room and the view from the balcony were amazing. It healed my work fatigue, and now I can work hard again.

    Great satisfaction

    The view is also excellent! The room is clean and spacious! We enjoyed using various facilities of Shigira at a great value. The front desk staff were very kind, promptly calling a tuk-tuk and preparing a room with a great view, allowing us to stay with peace of mind. We will definitely come back again!

    Best value-for-money Hotel

    The exterior and hallways were quite old, which made me feel uneasy at first, but the Room was spacious, clean, and felt as comfortable as home. The view was amazing, and I thought this Room with this view offered the best value for money. Two points: I felt it would be convenient to have a donburi bowl added to the kitchenware for making Okinawa soba. I believe there are a certain number of people who make Okinawa soba when they visit Okinawa and stay in a place with a kitchen. My family was one of them, and we ended up purchasing one at a 100-yen shop. Also, having some plastic wrap available would have been helpful when using the microwave. Overall, it was a Hotel I would like to stay at again!

    The second visit to Brisa this year.

    I stayed in January this year. I traveled as if living in a condominium. The space was ample, and the essential living supplies were provided, making it very comfortable. Unable to forget this comfort, I am staying for the second time in December. I want to make it my regular Stays!

    Spectacular View

    We are often used during trips to Miyako Island. The best part is the breathtaking view of the Miyako Blue from the Room. You can relax and be soothed by this scenery while sipping coffee on the balcony in the morning. We also enjoyed the increased number of Balmuda appliances. We will visit again.

    The view is outstanding.

    After staying at another hotel within Shigira, we moved to this hotel. There is a service within Shigira that helps move luggage to the room of the other hotel, which was helpful. The view is outstanding. The building is disappointing. The bathroom and toilet are old, and the air conditioning smells moldy. There are no chopsticks among the cutlery. If you can focus solely on the view, it might be fine.

    This was my first time using it.

    I stayed in a room on the second floor in the central area (A1 type, standard twin). You can see the sea, but the view is not as good as from the upper floors. The area in front of the room was a neatly trimmed lawn, giving it a golf course-like atmosphere. It felt more like a green view than an ocean view. The advantage of being on the second floor is that, since it's an apartment type, I could go up and down the stairs without using the elevator, which was convenient. Facing east, I went out to the balcony every morning at sunrise to recharge by watching the sunrise. As others have mentioned, there was a slight smell from the plumbing, but it was within an acceptable range. The air conditioning had a similar smell. I chose this condominium-style accommodation because I wanted to cook during my stay, but the built-in IH was broken. However, when I contacted them, they provided a portable one. The toilet was separate and equipped with a TOTO washlet. There were only two face towels for the two of us, so we couldn't place towels in the bathroom, kitchen, and toilet, and there were no hand towels, which was inconvenient. (Perhaps if I had mentioned it, they would have brought more?) We usually go out to the sea or sightseeing and have breakfast and dinner at the hotel, so we were prepared for it, but the distance to the supermarket is quite far, so you need to plan and stock up properly, or it becomes inconvenient. One of the highlights of our stay was the fireworks at Shigira Resort, which lasted about five minutes and were beautifully visible from our room, so we were satisfied.
