    Thank you very much for your kind support.

    The service was courteous, and the meals were excellent. I especially enjoyed the simple yet Western-style pot-au-feu and would love to have it again. The bath was also very good (I soaked four times). As someone who usually stays at Business Hotels, this reminded me how great an Onsen Accommodation can be.

    It was a wonderful Onsen.

    When we arrived at the Accommodation before 6:00 p.m., there was no one at the front desk. The woman who finally came out only told us our Room and where to eat, with no help with luggage or guidance. We had no choice but to head to the Room ourselves, but a staff member we met on the way pointed out that we weren’t wearing slippers, so we went back to the front desk and were given slippers. Even then, we carried our luggage to the Room ourselves and made tea ourselves, which left us feeling unsettled. The hot water in the kettle was also barely warm. As for dinner, there was no explanation of the dishes. When we asked for details, they seemed flustered and couldn’t explain well. Just when we thought a staff member finally gave us proper service as they saw us off, our taxi driver told us that person was actually the proprietress. Aside from her, I think the staff should make more effort with hospitality. The food was a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, and both were delicious. However, there was far too much food and we ended up completely full. It would be nice if there were Plans where guests could choose either a Japanese course or a Western course instead of only a mixed menu. Regarding the Onsen: the large public bath uses circulation filtration and has a noticeable disinfectant smell, but the free-flowing bath in the Room is wonderful. Next time, I’d love to go see again those cherry blossoms at Tokiya that change from green to pink—the taxi driver told us about them.

    It was a great Ryokan.

    I chose this Ryokan because I was looking for an Accommodation close to the Shinkansen station. The location was great—about a 5-minute taxi ride from Kaminoyama-Onsen Station. I stayed with my elderly aunt, and when I mentioned this in advance, they kindly arranged a Room near the elevator, which we really appreciated. The building wasn’t new, but it had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved that the dining area was private, so we could enjoy our meal and conversation at our own pace. We would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Unfortunately.

    It was a Ryokan I was looking forward to visiting as it was introduced on IKYU. The atmosphere is very nice, but... it was cold. The Room, the bath temperature... even the dining room... Even raising the air conditioner temperature didn’t help. Was it due to the heavy snow? But still... if it's in a snowy region, I would have appreciated a warmer welcome.

    1 trip.

    I had a relaxing and leisurely time. The Room's open-air bath was spacious, allowing me to stretch my legs comfortably. Additionally, I could adjust the temperature myself, making it enjoyable for a long soak. The meals were tailored to my preferences and delicious!

    Quaolto Health Walking

    The hotel had a charming atmosphere, the staff were courteous, and the stay was very comfortable. The meals were satisfying in both quantity and quality. Above all, the highlight was Kuaort. On the morning after our stay, my wife and I participated in Kuaort amidst a snowy landscape. We borrowed boots and walked through the snow-covered paths. The locals treated us to coffee and persimmons while we enjoyed breathtaking views overlooking the snowy town of Kaminoyama Onsen. It was an extraordinary and delightful experience for which we are truly grateful.

    A cozy Onsen Ryokan

    Although it is an old Ryokan, it is cleanly maintained and has a good traditional atmosphere. The dinner is very delicious and has a substantial volume. It is a very good Stays for a relaxing rest.

    New Year's Eve Stay for the Year 2024

    It has become difficult to make a reservation for a stay from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day, so I was lucky to secure a reservation this time, even though it's local. As the events with my fellow seniors are coming to an end, I am grateful for the pleasant stay. The meals were particularly well-received and satisfying. When I had to leave the property early by myself due to circumstances, I was given a courteous send-off despite the snowy weather. I would recommend this property as a place to relax and unwind.
