    A Hotel with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff smiles

    We stayed at this Hotel because it is close to the gondola for trekking at Hakuba Happo-One. The interior was simply charming, and we relaxed on the lobby sofas in the evening—the high ceilings made it feel like an overseas Hotel. Many of the staff were from abroad, but everyone was friendly and provided excellent service, making our stay very pleasant. We visited in summer this time, and would love to come back in winter as well.

    The service was not up to par considering the price.

    There was no welcome service upon arrival at the Hotel, and no assistance with carrying luggage to the Room, possibly due to staff shortages. The front desk staff provided a lackluster response that felt scripted. Only one Room key was provided, which was inconvenient. Having stayed in other Hotels with more than one person, this was the first time only one key was given; it seemed like an oversight by the staff. Additionally, while there were coffee and beer dispensers in the lounge, only lemon water could be consumed for free. This level of service felt below that of a Business Hotel. Furthermore, it would have been appreciated if bath towels and face towels were available in the public bath area. On a positive note, the buffet for dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The public bath area was spacious with good water quality and temperature. However, overall service felt below Business Hotel standards and did not justify the price of this Hotel.

    Historic Hotel

    This is a hotel with a great atmosphere. The water pressure of the onsen shower was too strong, and it reached others who were bathing (partly depending on how the shower was used). I would like to stay here again in winter.

    Relaxing

    The front desk staff's service was excellent, and it made me feel good. I would like to use it during the ski season as well.
