  An Accommodation where you can fully enjoy delicious beer and dinner.

  Of course, you can enjoy kayaking, but the beer and meals are outstanding. The rice is glossy and the steamed rice is delicious. Both breakfast and dinner were exquisite.

You originally hoped to join our kayak tour, but unfortunately, due to the weather, it ended up being a stay only. Still, we were truly delighted to hear your comment that “the beer and meals were excellent.” As you mentioned in your review, the rice we serve is home-grown Koshihikari from a farmer we have worked with for many years. Since rice is an important finishing touch to a meal, we were relieved and grateful to receive such kind praise. We will continue striving to provide meals that delight our guests, as well as activities you can fully enjoy. Mamixx, we would be very happy if you visit Wakasa again.   The Facility is old, but the comfort is excellent.

  I stayed for two nights. Perhaps because it is close to the sea, the fish was more delicious than at any other accommodation I have stayed at before. Whether sashimi, grilled, simmered, or fried, every dish had an amazing taste. The staff, including the hostess, were very pleasant and made my stay extremely comfortable. Thank you very much.

  I was interested in ...

  I was interested in Mikata Goko, but since I couldn't get around without a car, I decided to stay here. I appreciated the Shuttle Service that matched the train schedule. Based on Reviews, I was looking forward to the meals, and they were classic yet perfectly executed—simply amazing. I got to enjoy almost everything I'd wanted to try in Fukui. A paradise for fish lovers—and for sake enthusiasts too! The meals here were so satisfying that I regret not being able to try the squid rice bowl at "Drive-in Yoshida" nearby. It was also the perfect time for plum blossoms, and perhaps because it was off-season, it was quiet and relaxing with few people around.
