    This was our first v...

    This was our first visit with three people, including an elderly guest. Thank you for offering to lend us a wheelchair as soon as we arrived. Our Room was a top-floor Japanese-Western style room with a great view, and being close to the elevator was very helpful. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The only disappointment was the open-air bath: the stairs leading to it were too steep, and it felt so quiet around there that it was a little unsettling to go alone even during the day. All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly, and cheerful, and we truly appreciated your hospitality. Thank you as well for your consideration regarding the wheelchair. We think this Accommodation is very easy to use for families with small children and for elderly guests. We would like to stay here again when we visit Toba.

    Relaxing Solo Trip

    Dinner and breakfast were well-portioned and delicious. The large public bath was clean and very relaxing. The shuttle service driver, reception staff, hall staff, and everyone else were very friendly, and the hostess's thoughtfulness was much appreciated. Since I stayed alone, the accommodation was suitable for solo travelers, and the price was quite reasonable, so I understand, but the room felt a bit lonely. However, it was clean, and the service was excellent, so overall, I was satisfied.

    I would like to stay here again.

    This was my first time staying here. The bath was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor baths. There was a wide variety of shampoos available, which is a thoughtful service I haven't seen at other accommodations. The food was also delicious. I would love to stay here again!

    We celebrated my mot...

    We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday here and had a wonderful experience. She was pleasantly surprised by the after-dinner surprise and was overjoyed! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were able to relax thoroughly in the open-air bath and large public bath. The staff's thoughtful hospitality was truly appreciated. My mother said it became a memorable trip for her. Thank you so much!

    We visited as a group of four, including my 85-year-old mother, my wife, and my son. The spacious room offered a great view, and we were very satisfied with it. When we mentioned that our visit was also to celebrate my 60th birthday during dinner, the staff kindly prepared a red hood and vest for the occasion. They also surprised us with a celebratory cake and warm hospitality that truly touched my heart. I was genuinely delighted by this unexpected service. The meal featured an abundance of lobster and abalone, which was absolutely delicious. The exceptional hospitality left me deeply moved. I look forward to visiting again in the future.     A Journey to Ise Jingu

    I stayed here for my visit to Ise Jingu. While I was surprised at first to hear that I had to carry my suitcase to the Room myself, as many Ryokans I've stayed at before offered assistance, I thought it suited the current times and didn't mind it at all. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were perfectly portioned and absolutely delicious. The staff were all very pleasant, making my stay truly enjoyable. If there's one thing I'd point out, it's that only one towel was provided. One towel wasn't enough for bathing and morning face washing purposes; it would be great if additional towels could be placed in the bath area. That said, the view was wonderful overall, and I am very satisfied with my stay—it was a great experience!

    It was very good, but there were two disappointing things...

    As a fourth-time guest, I stayed here again and was pleased with the consistently excellent service from the staff, including the foreign staff during meals. The food was absolutely delicious, and the baths were fantastic. However, there were two disappointing experiences. First, I requested a massage at the front desk and was asked if I preferred a male or female therapist. Based on past experiences with male therapists not being satisfactory, I requested a female therapist. However, a 71-year-old male therapist arrived instead. Unfortunately, he had an extremely rude demeanor—loud voice, dismissive attitude towards my comments, and an overall unpleasant manner that ruined my mood for the evening. It left me so uncomfortable that it disrupted my sleep. Second, while selecting souvenirs at the front desk area the next day, we noticed a little girl around two years old crying out for her mother after seemingly getting separated from her family. My wife and I comforted her until her family arrived; however, it would have been more appropriate for front desk staff to notice this situation promptly and provide assistance. Despite these incidents being disappointing moments in our stay overall—and deciding to avoid using massage services in future visits—I tried to focus on what went well during this trip.

    The cuisine was excellent.

    The view and atmosphere of the special room were very good, and I chose it because I was able to make a reservation even at the last minute. Therefore, I actually didn't have high expectations for the food, but it turned out to be of such high quality that my low expectations were quite disrespectful. The attention to detail made me feel the high level of the chef. For example, each small dish that came with breakfast, like homemade tsukudani (preserved food boiled in soy sauce), was so good that if they were sold separately, I would want to buy them. Even though the dried horse mackerel was small and not particularly fatty, it was fresh without any odor due to its local origin and had a perfect drying process that retained moisture. Moreover, since it is grilled from raw right in front of you, you can enjoy freshly grilled fish in the morning with a refreshing taste. (I will refrain from posting all photos of the dishes as it might spoil surprises for others; however, dinner was also luxurious with various creative touches.) When food is delicious, overall satisfaction increases significantly. Combined with an excellent location, this place is highly recommended.

    We used the service ...

    We used the service this time for my partner's birthday. We had high expectations for the room and meals, but upon arrival, there were a few disappointments. ① The window in the room was large and offered a nice view, but I was concerned that it might be visible from outside (from other rooms or dining areas). I believe they use glass that prevents visibility from outside, but we could see other rooms clearly from our side. It's especially noticeable at night. ※ It is also visible from the open-air bath in the guest room. If they are using non-visible glass, an explanation would have been appreciated. ② I thought they might be providing occupational support to people from overseas, but I felt uncomfortable having to pay attention while listening to explanations. The person explaining was earnest and had a wonderful smile, but their broken language and occasional stumbles made it tiring for us. ③ The phone response by the front desk staff was terrible. I was simply told "You need to come to the front desk." I think there should be some cushioning words added before or after such statements; it felt unpleasant due to lack of intonation in their speech. We travel every year without fail, but we cannot consider repeating our stay here again.

    Trip to Ise Shrine

    The staff at the dining area during dinner were mostly new, but they were very kind and gladly agreed to our request to use the shells from the Ise lobster sashimi for miso soup the next day. The meal was delicious. The Room was comfortable and pleasant to stay in.
