Refresh at the Onsen
The lobby, bath, and room view are wonderful. The Room has a separate drinking water tap, and various tea snacks were enjoyable. There were yukatas for changing, towels placed at the bath entrance, and a variety of bathroom amenities to enjoy. The curry served during meals was delicious. However, the TV in the room is small, the mattress is thin, and I would prefer a futon. The shared toilet in the hallway lacks air conditioning. The rice balls in the morning had various flavors to enjoy but contained too much rice; I requested smaller ones on my second serving as I wanted to try different flavors with less base rice. This time it was an affordable Plan; however, without discounts, I might not return again.

It was great.
The meals and bath were satisfying. Attention to detail was excellent. Access from home is convenient, so I have just completed the reservation for an autumn stay to enjoy the meals and bath again.

Lively atmosphere
I chose this accommodation because I wanted to see the popular breakfast rice balls. The hotel was lively as soon as I entered. The Japanese sweets sold in the lobby were delicious. The meat course included both shabu-shabu and grilled meat, leaving me completely full. During the meal, there were microphone announcements, and the friendly staff were attentive and considerate, making it an enjoyable experience. There was a pair of binoculars in the room, and on the day I stayed, I could see the luxury cruise ship Asuka heading to Kobe and a Chinese ship. The room was relaxing, and the open-air bath was pleasant and refreshing. Thank you for your hospitality!

The view is spectacular.
Stayed after work. The Room offered a stunning view of the sea and sunset, making it very relaxing. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, and the morning walk was refreshing.

Satisfaction guaranteed!
This was my second visit. It was hard to make a reservation on the desired date, but I finally made it. The view from everywhere was open and refreshing, allowing me to relax a lot. Next time, I’d like to visit in a different season. It was an accommodation that made me want to come back again.

It was a wonderful trip.
We visited as a family of five, ranging in age from 10s, 20s, 40s to 50s, and everyone absolutely loved it! The view from the Room and Onsen was stunning, offering breathtaking scenery that changed throughout the day—perfect for capturing great photos. The facility was spotless, with thoughtful touches like plastic bags for wet towels and bags provided for carrying items to the bath. The staff were kind and attentive, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It truly turned out to be an amazing trip!

Senior Summer Vacation
The image of the holiday village has changed. The view from the lobby is stunning, offering a panoramic view of the Kitan Strait. Despite being reasonably priced, the Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The meals are delicious, especially the sea bream. The next morning, a staff member guided us on a walk to the gun battery ruins. The morning view of the Kitan Strait is breathtaking.

I arrived at the hotel a bit early, but since it was summer vacation, the lobby was crowded with guests waiting for check-in. Located on a hill, both the restaurant and bath offer stunning views, and the changing room has locks for added security. For both dinner and breakfast, I enjoyed a combination of set meals and buffet options. There was also a wide variety of sweets available, all delicious. The handmade rice balls in the morning were extremely popular—though there was a line, they were worth waiting for due to their exceptional taste. While many hotels prohibit photography in baths, this hotel surprisingly allows it during designated times before cleaning begins.

Highly satisfied
The shuttle bus service is frequent and convenient. As rumored, the breathtaking views from the lobby, Room, and bath are truly amazing! Simply wonderful. All the staff were friendly and left a great impression. The shuttle bus driver was also very pleasant! However, I felt that the sink faucet in the Room had a musty smell, so I gave it 4 stars. Maybe it was just my imagination... Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and filling. It was great to enjoy not only a traditional course meal but also a half-buffet where you can choose what you like (a man at the next table mentioned that sometimes just having a course meal isn't enough for him, so he appreciated having the buffet option). If I may add one suggestion: having more variety in salads or fruits would make it perfect! The bath's cold water temperature was just right—not too cold. The only disappointment was that during sunset hours in the open-air bath, the sunlight was too dazzling to fully enjoy the stunning view. I’m sure I’ll be back again!

The meals and Onsen are excellent!
The THE Kumano Beef Course was incredibly delicious, the view from the room was excellent, and the Onsen was truly wonderful. This is a hotel I would love to stay at again!

It was relaxing.
I visit several times a year, and the services are constantly updated. This time, a shampoo bar was installed. Unfortunately, I noticed it too late to use it, but there were several appealing options available, and I definitely want to try it next time. During breakfast, an older man made an unreasonable comment about lining up even though the buffet area was almost empty just to take one item, which dampened my mood. However, aside from that incident, I had a relaxing and soothing stay as always.

Healing Journey
The weather was great that day, and the view from the Room was amazing. The open-air bath offered a stunning ocean view, providing a sense of freedom and relaxation. Meals were served as a half-buffet with unlimited options like tempura, curry, and salads. For breakfast, there were so many types of rice balls to choose from that it was hard to decide. They were slightly smaller in size, allowing you to try various kinds. The price is reasonable, so I might visit again!

Dinner with Kumano beef and the morning rice balls was delicious!!! The Kumano beef dinner menu was absolutely amazing!! I wish I could have had sashimi or sushi too.

I stayed because the reviews were good.
This was my first stay at this accommodation. Check-in was smooth, and I was impressed by the advanced digitalization. The room was clean and pleasant, but the balcony was flooded due to poor drainage, which remained an issue even the next morning. Overall, it was a good experience; however, dinner seating felt cramped with only a single partition between tables, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, dishes were served in quick succession, leaving little space on the table and requiring us to eat quickly—this detracted from what should be a leisurely dining experience during a stay. On the other hand, the rice balls at breakfast were delightful. Overall, this facility had a calm atmosphere compared to others I’ve stayed at before, and I would like to stay here again in the future.

The view from the Room and the open-air bath was absolutely stunning! Sakura-kan had beds, so I was able to relax comfortably. The rice balls at breakfast were delicious. I wanted to have more, but I gave up after three.

This time, I stayed at Sakura-kan, and the room was very nice. The view was as great as ever. For meals, last time was at "Kada Komachi" and this time at "Aoi," but I preferred the previous time with tai no aradaki and regular tai kamameshi.

Onigiri Food Stall and Promenade
We went to enjoy the view and the Kue hot pot kaiseki. Both were as expected, but what exceeded our expectations were the breakfast rice ball stall and the promenade. The rice ball stall offered creative options like seafood bowls and Kumano beef roast beef bowls, which were visually appealing and uplifting. All the pickles were handmade, and you could feel the dedication of the person making them, which gave us energy. We overheard that the man at the rice ball stall, who was talking to other guests, was actually the manager. The manager himself? Impressive! I was inwardly moved. It was also nice that the room was available until 11 a.m. as a limited-time offer. After checking out, the boat to Tomogashima was canceled due to the wind, but there were gun battery ruins and an observatory on the promenade around the property, and as we extended our walk down to the sea, we enjoyed the unique trees on the seaside slope and the various birds chirping. The view of the property on the mountain along the way was also one of the impressive sights. When we returned from the promenade, a local Japanese sweets shop had a pop-up store in the lobby, offering a variety of treats like mandarin warabi mochi, strawberry daifuku, and muscat daifuku. Choosing was fun, and everything was delicious. The hotel's Mont Blanc was also tasty, and we enjoyed ourselves even after checking out, making it a great trip. Thank you very much.

Kanreki Celebration
We visited with two couples to celebrate my brother-in-law's 60th birthday. We had a memorable experience with the red vest photo shoot and cake service, which my brother-in-law was delighted with.

The view is magnificent.
Entered the Hotel at 4 PM and was amazed by the view! In the Room, I watched the sunset over the sea. The sea bream soup for dinner was incredibly delicious, and I had several refills. The sashimi and sea bream rice were tasty, and the desserts were plentiful and satisfying. The Room's jacuzzi was more spacious than I imagined, allowing me to relax in the water. In the morning, I went to the large public bath! I soaked in the bath with a good water temperature and just the right depth, leisurely watching the sea, sky, and ships. Then, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and gazed at the sea from the Room again... I didn't want to leave... I had a very happy time this visit. It's hard to get a Reservation, but I want to go again!!

Hotel with Ocean View
It was nice to stay cheaply, the room with a balcony was spacious, and the breakfast rice balls were good. The downside was being bitten by bedbugs, which bite in separate places inside clothes rather than in a row like fleas, and I was troubled by it afterward, especially the inside of my arms was terrible. After foreign guests stay, it might be good to visually inspect the seams of the mattress, or although insecticides are toxic to the body, it might be possible to sterilize the room with ozone without using them. When I turned the air conditioner to heating, there was a smell, and I couldn't sleep. It was also disappointing that the food did not suit my taste, so although it was cheap and the room furnishings were good, I don't think I will revisit.

It was wonderful.
I was very pleased with the high level of hospitality and the dedication of all the staff. I was satisfied with all the facilities. The bath was excellent! The view from the room was perfect! If I could make one request, it would be to reduce the quantity of food a little and improve the quality. I think it would have been even better.

It was a good vacation.
We used it for a family trip during the holidays. The view from the bath was wonderful, and we were able to enjoy the scenery in the open-air bath until the sun set. The meals were excellent, with both a course and a buffet available. The broth of the hot pot in the evening course was so delicious that we bought it at the souvenir shop to take home. The wide variety of rice balls for breakfast was also delicious, and we were very satisfied with the meals, the bath, and the room. It was a very good vacation, and we will use it again.

Stayed with my daugh...
Stayed with my daughter. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset we were looking forward to due to bad weather on the day of arrival, but the next day was sunny, and the view from the lobby, room, and bath was excellent. We wanted to relax forever. The meals in the morning and evening were delicious, and we ate too much. I wanted to try more varieties of rice balls in the morning. Thank you to the staff for their friendly and courteous service. I rated the facility a 4 because I thought it would be better if there were more sinks in the dressing room. It was nice to try different types of hairdryers. I hope to see the sunset next time and would like to use the property again.

It was excellent.
I made a reservation because it was highly rated on social media. We travel to places within driving distance almost every month as a couple, and we've mostly stayed at luxury ryokans, so to be honest, I was skeptical about a holiday village, but my expectations were completely overturned! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the meals were so luxurious for the price that I wondered if it was really okay. There were dozens of types of rice balls for breakfast, made right in front of you, and they even accommodated requests for less rice, so you can try various kinds. And they were incredibly delicious!! The bath was also amazing!! I will definitely repeat my stay. Thank you very much!!

The Room is hot.
This time, I stayed at Sakura-kan. The view was, as always, wonderful, but it was extremely hot on this midsummer day, and the window only opened 5 centimeters. I asked the front desk to open it a bit more, but they refused for safety reasons. The air conditioning in the room was not very effective, and even when it did cool, I felt suffocated because I couldn't exchange the air. I wish they would allow the window to open at least 20 centimeters for better ventilation. The Japanese-style room windows opened about 15 centimeters each... Sakura-kan might be a miss.

- Guest Room & Amenities The room was clean and comfortable to stay in. The spectacular view from the room was indeed wonderful. Since the facility is located on a very high hill, the view was exceptional. - Customer Service The staff greeted us even when passing by in the hallway, and although some of the restaurant staff were foreigners and their explanations were a bit unclear, they were doing their best. I thought it must be tough for the person making rice balls for breakfast to keep making such a large quantity, but I was impressed as they kept working while engaging in conversation appropriately. I felt a slight sense of inconsistency with the casual attitude of the front desk staff during checkout, though... - Onsen & Bath As it was a scenic bath, the open-air bath was crowded with guests. I couldn't stay long, but it was very relaxing. - Facilities & Equipment It seemed there were items for day-trip guests as well, as various things were sold within the facility, making it lively and enjoyable. There were quiz events for children, which was nice. - Meals It was a half-buffet, but the main dishes were sufficient in quantity, and there were many delicious items in the buffet, so I was full from both. There were many guests, so I had to be careful when passing by others. - Satisfaction When thinking of Wakayama, places like Shirahama and Katsuura are famous, but I didn't expect such a spectacular place so close to Osaka in Wakayama City. I stayed as a trial and was more satisfied than expected. However, the reasonable price might make it difficult to secure a reservation, which could be a downside.

The view is amazing. It was nice to be able to see it from the lobby, the room, the bath, and the dining hall. I was also satisfied with the meals. I would like to stay again.
