    Family Trip for Large Groups

    This is a Hotel where you can easily go back and forth between the beach and the pool, making it very enjoyable. We stayed with small children, but even though the restaurant is spacious, it didn’t feel crowded, so we could dine at a relaxed pace. They also lend out fireworks sets, so we were able to enjoy fireworks on the beach at night. Amenities are available for you to take back to your Room as needed, but it wasn’t inconvenient. We stayed for two nights and three days; if you leave towels outside the door, they will be replaced with fresh ones. It was our first stay in a while, but the place had been renovated and made for a comfortable trip.

    It was a satisfying stay.

    We stayed with three families (nine people) during the season when the rapeseed flowers were in full bloom. Everyone—from kids to adults—had a wonderful time, and it became a great memory for us. The ocean stretches out right in front of the Accommodation. We took a walk in the morning before check-out, and it felt amazing. The sea was beautiful, and we thought, “In summer, we could really enjoy swimming here.” Having Yumigahama right in front is a major highlight of this Accommodation. Our Room also had an ocean view and was spacious, so we could relax comfortably. Meals were buffet-style, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. There was a wide variety of dishes, so much that we ended up eating too much. There was also all-you-can-drink beer and wine, which made mealtimes even more enjoyable (just be careful not to overdo it). There was an izakaya-style place in front of the Accommodation as well, so we said we might go later if needed—but in the end, we were satisfied enough that there was no need. After dinner, we went up to the rooftop. Spending time looking at the stars while enjoying coffee or tea was wonderful. Being able to enjoy stargazing on the Shiosai Terrace feels unique to this Accommodation. The open-air bath was also very pleasant and relaxing. That said, since it was quite busy when we stayed, it would have been even more comfortable if it were a bit larger. Breakfast was hearty too—delicious enough that we finished everything. Overall, it turned into a very satisfying trip. It’s a bit far from Tokyo, but Izu has many sightseeing spots, and even the journey there added to the travel experience. We’d love to visit again in another season.

    The Onsen was wonder...

    The Onsen was wonderful. Dinner was a buffet with Kinmedai shabu-shabu, and the Kinmedai shabu-shabu was especially delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes, and drinks were available as free-flow as well. Breakfast also offered many options to choose from, and everything was very tasty. The Room’s washbasin area was spacious and easy to use, and the amenities were well stocked, which I appreciated. There were also many souvenirs for sale on the 1st floor, and thank you to the staff member who carefully provided a paper bag and shopping bag when I made my purchase. There is also a pool, so I think it’s a great place for families with children to enjoy during summer vacation. I also didn’t forget to buy the Kyukamura “Traveling Picture Book” pins! We had a great time during our one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much.

    Stroller

    We stayed with my mother, who has difficulty walking. As she would be at risk without her stroller, we asked to use it inside the property, and you kindly agreed. Thank you also for reserving a seat closest to the buffet area. Thanks to your support, we had a wonderful trip.

    The buffet meals wer...

    The buffet meals were delicious, especially the turban shell, chawanmushi, and beef stew. When declining room cleaning during a Multiple Night Stay to consider environmental concerns and reduce the hotel's workload, I received a 500 yen voucher for the shop. However, I had to bring my kettle to the front desk for drinking water and go there for a cosmetics set as well. The futon was left unrolled throughout my stay. The sea is slightly visible beyond the pine trees. The Room has plenty of towel hangers and even a toothbrush holder, which is convenient. However, the Room had an odor; particularly in the closet where it was concentrated, though an air purifier was provided. I hope this information helps someone!

    Both your heart and stomach will be satisfied.

    All-you-can-eat grilled turban shell and simmered alfonsino attracted me to stay. On this day, there was no time limit, so I could leisurely enjoy my favorite dishes. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were kind and attentive, maintaining a good distance. I enjoyed stargazing and watching the sunrise; although it was a short one-night stay, I had a lot of fun and it was stress-free. The only disappointment was that the onsen pot bath didn't have any hot water coming out and was quite lukewarm.

    Despite the high ratings...

    I made a reservation because it had high ratings. So far, I've generally been satisfied with IKYU ratings of 4.3 or higher, but this one left a so-so impression. Within IKYU, I think a rating of 3.8-4.1 would be appropriate. ■ Room It was a Japanese-Western style room, but not impressive. ■ Meals It's not an amazing buffet! You might get bored with a multiple night stay. ■ Bath It's not that spacious. It's an onsen near the sea. Shampoos and hairdryers are ordinary. The lotions after bathing have a scent reminiscent of Showa-era gentlemen. ■ Front Desk No welcome or send-off at the entrance. You carry your own luggage.
