    The view is amazing.

    It was a Room with the best view, overlooking Ryokusuitei and the mountains across the way. Thank you. The cake and drink service after check-in was wonderful.

    The upscale entrance...

    The upscale entrance and the lounge’s calm atmosphere had a very nice feel. The Japanese-style room was spacious with a great view from the window, but it felt dated. Because the futons were already laid out, the table was pushed into a corner and ended up being used only for storage. When sitting in the chair by the window, I couldn’t see the TV, and I also noticed the step down to the tatami. The bath area was spacious, and both the indoor bath and open-air bath were excellent. However, dust was highlighted by the downlights in the changing room, which was slightly unpleasant. Even though it was a weekday stay, the elevator was full and I had to let it go several times. The food selection was plentiful and satisfying, but there were few items that felt special. With so many options it felt hectic, with people constantly walking around nearby, making it hard to relax during meals. After that, I enjoyed what felt like an all-inclusive adults-only time.

    It was a wonderful, memorable trip.

    This was my first stay here the other day. As the building is a renovated former Ryokan, there were a few areas that felt a bit aged, but it was an Accommodation filled with charm that far outweighed any such impressions. The buffet I had been looking forward to was in a class of its own compared with typical offerings—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and everything I tried was seasoned beautifully and truly delicious. Above all, what made me happiest was the warm hospitality of the staff. I stayed with my elderly mother, who has weak legs and uses a cane, and at the restaurant entrance a staff member quickly noticed her situation and smoothly guided us to seats where it would be easier for her to serve herself. Their promptness and kindness at that moment moved me more than words can express. Throughout our stay, every staff member we spoke with responded pleasantly from start to finish, and I could really feel how well their training and hospitality are delivered. Although it was only one night, my mother, my wife, and I were able to spend truly meaningful time together. I would love to return again with my precious family. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.

    Highly Satisfying Accommodation

    We stayed with our son and his wife, booking two Rooms for four guests, and we appreciated being placed in adjacent Rooms—it was very convenient. The lobby, bar, and all areas were comfortable, and all staff were very friendly. We would love to stay again.

    The Best Birthday Celebration

    This was my second stay. I was so impressed by the attentive, all-around service during my previous visit that I chose this Accommodation again. Compared to last time, I managed my appetite better and was able to enjoy everything without missing a thing, making it a wonderful birthday memory. The cherry blossom roll cake, which wasn’t available last time, was delicious. I would love to stay again.

    We visited as a parent and child.

    I stayed for one night. Overall, the baths were wonderful! Since they rotate by time, I was able to enjoy different Onsens in the morning and at night, and both were spacious and to my liking. Below are a few concerns and points I hope will be improved. - Are guests with tattoos allowed in the baths? My family and I were there, so it made me a bit uneasy. - The service stood out in a negative way. During the meal, I accidentally dropped a cup and handed it to a staff member, but they took it without saying anything. Since I was apologizing, even a simple “Okay” or “I’ll take it” would have been better—it felt unfriendly. Overall, the service was disappointing. The staff seemed rushed and didn’t feel very attentive when we had questions or needed help. The wine salesperson actually had a much better atmosphere than the hotel staff.

    Wonderful

    Wonderful, but there are three drawbacks: no need for BS, the bathroom entrance is cold, and the pillows are firm. Still, it’s excellent value for money. I can see why it was fully booked even on a weekday. Thank you.

    Completely satisfied with the meals. Would love to stay again.

    Both dinner and breakfast are buffet-style. I didn't have high expectations, but every dish was carefully prepared, the ingredients were delicious, and there was a wide variety to choose from—completely satisfying. The sweets I had at the lounge were also delicious, and the all-inclusive option with unlimited alcohol added to the pleasant experience (no one overdrank or caused any trouble; everyone behaved responsibly). The bath area was very spacious with a great atmosphere, not crowded at all, making it very comfortable. The shared spaces like the lobby were also spacious and beautifully designed with thoughtful touches. The room felt slightly dated in layout but had been well-renovated and was clean—perfectly adequate for sleeping. All staff members were very friendly with wonderful smiles. Although I thought I had made my Reservation early enough, it was disappointing that the shuttle bus was fully booked and I couldn't use it. This hadn't happened before at other Hotels in Akiu. Overall, while they focus on important details where necessary and make practical decisions elsewhere, everything is well-balanced overall!

    It was the ultimate reward trip.

    I discovered this place through a short video on social media, and when I saw the time sale offer, I didn’t hesitate to make a reservation as a reward for myself for working hard this year. The staff were wonderful both during check-in and while using the lounge. During the dinner buffet, there was a photo service, which allowed me to capture memories of myself—a rare opportunity during solo trips. The room was comfortable, and I fully enjoyed the services provided. The onsen was incredibly relaxing, making it an unforgettable day! I would love to stay here again! Personally, I highly recommend the large public bath with its soothing sound of wind (Hinoki Bath).

    First time with all-inclusive

    My first stay at an all-inclusive accommodation. **[Positive Points]** - Great system for those who like to check in early, enjoy the onsen, and have a drink. - A wide variety of dishes makes choosing meals enjoyable. - The staff work very hard. **[Negative Points]** - I had questions and requests before my stay, but the system required contacting the reservation center instead of the accommodation directly, and I couldn't reach them during their available hours. - Checked in after 3 PM and made a request, but another staff member informed me that they were fully booked and couldn't accommodate it. - The room was on the lowest floor next to the elevator. - At the large public bath, one of the two outdoor baths was too hot to even dip my feet into. - While having drinks or snacks at the lounge, there were too few staff members; replenishments were delayed, tables remained dirty as they weren't cleared promptly, and some guests left their belongings on large tables without being addressed by staff—leaving others standing without seats. - At dinner venues with many dishes available ensuring smooth flow for food service: however for drinks section there was no explanation about which glasses to use from fridge leading confusion spilling beer overflows unattended messes due lack-of-staff presence nearby resolve issues timely manner! -Inexperienced Staff focused clearing plates mid-meal interrupting dining experience unnecessarily felt rushed awkwardly handled situations poorly overall impression diminished slightly despite breakfast running smoothly     The Facility is slightly old, but the lobby, lounge, library, restaurant, and bath have been beautifully renovated. The meals offered a wide variety of choices and were incredibly delicious.

    The newly renovated facility was very clean. The meals offered a wide variety and were enjoyable, but the venue was so spacious that by the time I gathered everything I wanted to eat, the warm dishes I picked first had already cooled down. While trying to take a plate from under the counter, I almost cut my hand on a broken one without noticing it. Although staff promptly removed it, since it was within reach of children, measures like changing its location or using more durable materials might be necessary. Having late-night snacks available and a bar where you can enjoy whiskey made for a very relaxing experience.

    The bath was excellent. The bath might be a bit far from the annex. Efforts such as removing the phone from the Room can be seen. The concept is all-inclusive, which is wonderful.

    The best stay at a fully inclusive Japanese-style Hotel!

    I was impressed by the inclusive services, such as enjoying self-serve beer and lemon highballs in the lobby, a bar where you can enjoy whiskey while listening to Western music LP records, and green curry as a late-night snack at the Library Lounge. The buffet for dinner and breakfast was the most varied I've ever experienced, with luxurious and wonderful flavors. The oyster kamameshi I had for dinner was particularly delicious. The Onsen had spacious bathtubs, and the open-air bath was also nice. It was a very satisfying stay.

    Family New Year's Gathering

    I was surprised by the line at check-in. The meals were so-so. I was looking forward to Sendai beef tongue, but it wasn't available, which was disappointing. For entertainment, there were two ping-pong tables available in 30-minute slots. The Room was for five people, but it was just right for three of us. The photos online made it look very spacious, so it was a bit disappointing.

    I stayed for the first time. I was able to eat and drink without worry with the all-inclusive. It was very good. I received a beer upon check-in. It was disappointing that the cup was plastic. The beer was very cold and delicious, so I wanted to drink it in a glass. The food was plentiful and delicious. The room was spacious and clean. I would like to revisit the hotel if I have the opportunity.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time visiting Akiu Onsen. The lounge offered drinks and snacks, which changed slightly between day and night, allowing for a relaxing time after a bath. I was pleased that the massage was free. It was great that I didn't have to bring a towel to the bath, so I could go after meals. The room had some old parts, possibly from the previous hotel, but the tatami was new. The meals didn't have a special feeling, but for those who drink, alcohol is free, which might be nice. The dessert was a bit lacking. Everything was ordinary. The staff had smiles and were very pleasant.

    Very satisfied

    I used it for a girls' trip. I was worried if my friends, who are used to traveling, would be satisfied, but they were very satisfied. The staff's response was very kind. The bath was spacious and clean. The food was very delicious. Even though it was crowded, the staff's prompt response allowed us to smoothly get to our table. Our room was in the main building. It felt a bit old, but it was well-cleaned, and we were able to relax. Since it's all-inclusive, my friends were also very pleased. I will definitely visit again when I go to Akiu Onsen. It was a good trip.
