    Dinner by the irori hearth was a refreshing change and very enjoyable. The open-air bath is spacious and very relaxing.

    A Warm and Welcoming Accommodation

    The staff’s friendly greetings and thoughtful hospitality made our stay very comfortable. I finished every last drop of the soy milk hot pot at breakfast—it was delicious. I made a Reservation here to see the starry sky. Unfortunately it rained, but the nighttime lights of the Onsen town seen from our Room window were also wonderful. I was captivated by Hirugami Onsen’s silky-smooth water. Thank you very much.

    The room, the starry sky, and the Onsen were all excellent.

    Thank you for your hospitality. The room was a renovated one (with a bed), very clean, and comfortable. The TV was the largest I have ever seen in any accommodation I’ve stayed at. Although the room only had a shower and no bathtub, the large public bath being available until late made it more than sufficient. It was great that Heaven's Sonohara Starry Night Tour was just about 15 minutes away. I’d like to visit again in the morning next time, so I look forward to staying with you then. Thank you very much!

    Friendly Accommodation

    First-time stay for the Stargazing Night Tour with four people, including a friend's couple. Two renovated and well-cleaned beautiful Rooms. Thank you to the female staff who provided detailed tour information in advance and the young male front desk staff who kindly gave sightseeing guidance! We look forward to staying again for the Sea of Clouds Tour next time.

    Stayed in a newly re...

    Stayed in a newly renovated room. The room was very comfortable! Hirugami Onsen has excellent water quality. However, the food was underwhelming in comparison. The staff were trying their best, but it seemed like there weren't enough people, leading to rushed and careless service. While the facilities were great, the shortcomings in service stood out even more. This accommodation reminded me of how challenging it is to nurture and train people effectively.

    We stayed as a family. The private open-air bath and large public bath were spacious and enjoyable. Since we had small children, we chose a Miki House-certified Room. While amenities like diapers and wet wipes were well-prepared, the Room itself was a standard Japanese-style room with no special features for children to enjoy. The most disappointing part was that my wife, who is pregnant, cannot eat raw food—a detail we informed both the travel site and via phone in advance. However, during dinner, both of us were served the same menu that included sashimi. Additionally, for the grilled fish at the hearth table, since the fire was weak, I wish my wife's portion had been pre-cooked. Although they adjusted her meal after we mentioned it again during dinner, breakfast also included raw items like mentaiko for both of us. This was very disappointing.

    We stayed for one night and two days with three generations of our family. It was very child-friendly, and we were extremely satisfied! The meals were abundant, almost too much to finish, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were very kind. We would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

    The stars were clearly visible.

    I stayed for one night at the end of the year. The Onsen was comfortable in both temperature and texture, allowing for a relaxing experience. The facility is also well-cleaned. Although there were many families, it was not noisy. It was below freezing at night, so I didn't go outside, but I could see the stars well through the window. It was worth going to Achi Village. The meal was robatayaki, and I was satisfied with both the quality and quantity. You can also choose alcoholic beverages from famous places within the prefecture. Additionally, the service staff's brisk response leaves a refreshing impression. There were also foreign staff, but they did not make me feel uneasy about their Japanese. The only request would be that the large public bath becomes unavailable at 09:00. It would be appreciated if we could take another bath after breakfast before checking out at 10:00. However, if there is little demand for this and it only increases the burden of response, it cannot be helped.

    Satisfaction

    It was a Ryokan with high satisfaction in Shuttle Service, reception, Room, meals, and bath. I should have requested in advance, but the meal by the hearth was in a tatami room, which was the only negative point for me with bad legs. In the photos, it looked like a table or a sunken kotatsu.

    It was a bit disappointing.

    It seems to be a renovated room, but there was a strange noise from the air conditioner. Also, personally, I think the two cheap artificial flowers displayed are unnecessary. The coordination within the property was not good either. We were not guided to the dining area on both occasions. I don't think it's acceptable to have no staff present when a time is specified. It was a relief to see the dispatched staff and foreign workers working hard. The next day, the onsen property we stayed at was truly wonderful, so I believe this is an honest review. *I have never posted a review before, but I am posting this in the hope that it will be helpful for the property and future guests.
