    We stayed in a Room ...

    We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath this time, but perhaps because it was an extremely hot day, the air conditioning did not work well. The entire Accommodation was also hot, and we heard other guests saying the same. Considering recent weather conditions, I hope this can be improved. The interior of the Accommodation felt dark, and I thought it could be a bit more bright and lively. The water in the in-room open-air bath felt wonderful on the skin and was very pleasant. However, perhaps due to drainage from an upper floor, there was loud splashing water noise hitting the roof over the open-air bath, so we could not relax and enjoy bathing at our own pace. In addition, there was gritty sand-like residue collecting on the bottom of the tub, which made me wonder whether cleaning was being done properly, so it did not feel comfortable. The neighboring Hotel visible from the open-air bath looked exceptionally impressive, and I even found myself thinking we should have stayed next door instead. We had dinner in a private room, but the directions were hard to follow and we got a little lost. That said, we had a good impression of how the foreign staff member assisted us. The food was average overall—while the extra-order grilled Nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) with salt was very delicious, without that there wasn’t anything particularly memorable and it felt like typical Ryokan cuisine. On the other hand, ordering drinks via tablet worked very well; everything arrived quickly and that part was excellent. Breakfast also didn’t stand out much, but your original mushroom miso was delicious and we bought some as a souvenir to take home. Overall, if these points are improved we would consider staying again in the future; however as things are now, it would be difficult for us to return.

    Major panic

    I stayed in a guest Room with a private open-air bath. After dinner, when I was about to use the bath, I saw two cockroaches come out from gaps in the cypress wood around the bath and a cypress pillar, run across the floor of the open-air bath area, and then go back into the gaps. I panicked and called the front desk, and they changed my Room, but I couldn’t bring myself to use the bath because I kept worrying it might happen again in the next Room. It ended up making choosing a Room with an open-air bath pointless. The front desk staff handled it well, but this experience was traumatic for me.

    The large public bath and the open-air bath were located separately, and you had to exit one bathing area to go to the other, but this was not explained at check-in. At meals, the next dishes took a long time to be served, and we had to press the call button several times. They also did not explain things like emergency exits or women’s colored yukata unless we asked. In addition, the Wi‑Fi was poor and our phones switched to 4G.

    On a whim, I made a Reservation the day before for a Room with an open-air bath. The open-air bath was even better than expected, so I used it many times and was able to relax and enjoy it at my own pace. It would be nice if the amenities were a bit more extensive.

    Since the large public bath was unavailable, we were moved to a spacious Room with an open-air bath. We were very satisfied, but it was a bit disappointing that the rice at dinner was mushy after just one bite and felt unpleasant. Still, we were lucky to have such a nice Room. Thank you very much.

    We stayed for one night. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and generously portioned, so we were very satisfied. The hot spring bath was also fed directly from the source, and it warmed us through to the core.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed as a family of three. Our baby was only 6 months old, so we chose a Room with an open-air bath, and it was the right decision. We enjoyed bathing together as a family without worrying about others. This Ryokan is easy to stay at even with small children.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night on March 13. The staff were very polite and well-mannered, and it felt like the foreign staff were also very well trained. We were shown to a private Room in the dining area on the second floor, and the atmosphere was nice, but the food service felt a little slow since we had to press the call button several times. The food itself was delicious. The in-Room bath was very luxurious, and I enjoyed using it many times; the temperature was just right. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

    Due to the forecast of heavy snow, I stayed at the accommodation.

    The Onsen water was very warm, leaving my skin smooth. The Room was spacious and comfortable. However, the lounge was hard to access and smelled of tobacco. Breakfast lacked main dishes and mostly consisted of side items for rice. The salad dressing was delicious, but as someone from Kanazawa (my husband is from Noto), the grilled nodoguro felt a bit underwhelming. I would love to visit again if given the chance.     Three senior women, ...

    Three senior women, friends since high school, stayed together. We reserved a room with an open-air bath and also booked a private bath. We enjoyed the large public baths, which switch between men and women in the afternoon and morning, as well as the onsen with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. It was truly relaxing, and my friends were very pleased. Meals were served in a private room instead of a buffet style, allowing us to enjoy them calmly at our own pace. The courses were plentiful, delicious, and satisfying. The drink service in the lobby was also great. On the day we arrived, we were too busy enjoying the baths and meals to notice that we missed it; however, since this service was available again in the morning, we could enjoy it before checking out. All staff members provided excellent service. Thank you very much!

    I would love to visit again.

    The room had a slightly old-fashioned feel, but it was clean with no musty smell, and the Onsen was very pleasant. The food was especially delicious and absolutely fantastic!

    Stayed for 2 nights ...

    Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with breakfast included. The building feels a bit old, but it is well-cleaned and tidy. The Room had no unpleasant odors, which was nice. The staff were attentive and proactive, making the stay comfortable. However, the breakfast was disappointing. It consisted of store-bought side dishes with no homemade options, and the menu was the same for both days. The rice was dry and not cooked well, while the miso soup tasted like basic home cooking rather than something special from a Ryokan. I had been looking forward to enjoying a traditional "Ryokan breakfast," but it fell short of expectations. Honestly, a buffet at a Business Hotel might have been better in comparison. I would have preferred fewer items but higher quality dishes like delicious dried fish, grilled fish, or sashimi instead.

    The parking lot is spacious and secure, and both the bathroom and Room are clean.

    I visited by car. The parking lot was very spacious with plenty of spaces, making it easy and stress-free to park. The Facility was clean, with clear navigation inside, and the check-in process was smooth. The large public bath was well-maintained, both the bathtub and washing area were clean, and the dressing room was thoroughly cleaned for a comfortable experience. I appreciated being able to choose from different shampoos. The guest room had no unpleasant odors or dust, and the bedding was comfortable for a good night's sleep. Amenities and facilities were sufficient for a pleasant stay. This time I stayed without meals, but I would love to try them on my next visit!

    First time at Yamashiro Onsen, Yu no Yado Hakusan Shobutei. The room having an open-air bath was truly wonderful and helped relieve the fatigue of the journey. As for dinner, being able to enjoy a whole crab felt like a special treat unique to Hokuriku Onsen. Also, the staff were amazing. Their quick problem-solving skills, efficiency, and professionalism were impressive in every way. Thank you for taking care of us during our 1-night stay!

    Value beyond the price

    Used the weekday upgrade plan. Having an open-air bath in the room was truly wonderful. The meals were delicious, especially the Ishiru hot pot. The staff were all very pleasant. The only disappointment was that the door at the entrance of the room didn’t close properly, but everything else was excellent. Thanks to booking through IKYU, I got a significant discount and even wondered if this price was okay for such quality. If it were closer, I would love to stay at this accommodation multiple times.

Experience the natural hot spring with free-flowing water. Savor melt-in-your-mouth Noto pork, Wagyu beef, and fresh local vegetables.     I used a room with an open-air bath. The open-air bath in the room was excellent. However, it was disappointing that there was a slight toilet smell in the room and the washroom, possibly due to the age of the facility. Also, I was very concerned about the smell of cigarettes everywhere I went. There is a place where you can enjoy free drinks, but a smoking area is set up in one corner, and I wanted to use it after taking a bath, but the cigarette smell was overwhelming. Also, the coffee machine gets very crowded at certain times, so I hope they increase the number of machines to meet the demand.

    I expected too much.

    Bath The open-air bath was full of mosquitoes, and I got bitten quite a bit. As for the private open-air bath in the room, there was only a flimsy bamboo screen for privacy, and it was completely visible if you used it during the day. Room The tatami mats were newly replaced, but the wallpaper and other areas smelled moldy, and the roller blinds were also moldy. The air conditioning seemed outdated, making noise comparable to an old dryer, which made it impossible to sleep. Meals During dinner, there was something that needed to be cooked, but it was just served without any instructions. When I asked, "Um, what about the fire?" it was as if they expected us to do it ourselves, and we had to use a lighter placed in the corner of the room. Also, the drinking water smelled of chlorine and was tap water. It's unbelievable in this day and age. With these issues, the accommodation fee is not justified. It was undoubtedly the worst impression among the places I've stayed at recently.
