    The views are amazing! The buffet is delicious!

    The views are outstanding. The Onsen is spacious and includes an open-air bath; the spring water is a bit hot, so you can enjoy both. Meals are buffet-style, and the steak, soba noodles, and soft-serve ice cream were especially delicious. The Room is simple, and the bathroom area feels like a typical Business Hotel unit bath. I wanted a draft beer after the bath, but there was no such Facility in the lobby, so I bought canned beer from a vending machine. Satisfaction changes greatly depending on whether you can see the Northern Alps. I’d rate the facilities and Room as 3/5, but considering the price—about ¥30,000 on weekdays for two people with two meals—I’d give it 4/5 overall. With the Onsen and Northern Alps view, I was very satisfied. Choose a Room with a view on the 3rd floor or higher.

    Stay with Shiba Inu Bunta...

    We stayed here while traveling with our pet. It felt relaxing and carefree, without worrying about bothering other guests. However, when using the Hotel Facilities, I felt scared walking outside in the dark… Still, the view of the Northern Alps from the window was wonderful. The welcome drinks in the refrigerator were plentiful and enjoyable, and they even provided a bag for taking them to go.

    The Beautiful Scenery of Hakuba

    The snow-capped Hakuba mountain range looked stunning through the Hotel’s large windows—it was truly beautiful. Seasonally, there were still some cherry blossoms left, and petals were falling around the Hotel windows and throughout the nearby village, which made it feel like a wonderful place. Just one point. It seemed that the air conditioner had not been cleaned. When I turned it on, very dusty air blew out and I started coughing, so I gave up using it and slept with the window open. For future guests as well, I would appreciate it if you could clean and inspect the air conditioner. Other than that, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely like to visit again.

    Highly Satisfied

    The weather was perfect, making for an exceptional stay. The morning after our stay, we were moved when the morning mist cleared during breakfast at the restaurant, revealing the Hakuba mountain range. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the Hakuba mountain range from every spot—the restaurant, our room, the open-air bath, rooftop terrace, and lobby. The meals were delicious as well. Above all, the private open-air bath exclusively for guests was outstanding!

    I chose this accommodation based on the condition of having a natural hot spring with free-flowing water.

    Several tanker trucks, seemingly carrying Onsen water, were coming and going, connecting hoses to the side of the accommodation building. Are they transporting the source water from somewhere? In the large bath area, there was a charming source Onsen tub that could be considered "flowing freely." However, as the amount of flowing water was very minimal, it seemed like they might be struggling to secure enough water. It appeared to be a place of relaxation for locals. I hope they continue their efforts!

    The view is spectacular.

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our mistake in matching the number of Rooms and guests, but we are very grateful for the kind response at the front desk. The Hotel had some parts that felt a bit old, but it was beautifully renovated. The refreshing view of the summer mountains from the bath and dining area in the morning was wonderful! We were very satisfied with both the bath and meals. The steak at dinner and local bread at breakfast are something we'd love to have again. All of your staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

    The Room and the large public bath were clean.

    The Room was a Japanese-Western style, bright and clean. For three people, the sofa bed in the middle seemed unnecessary as it was neither visually appealing nor practical. The buffet featured freshly fried white shrimp and nozawana oyaki, while the breakfast included domestic wheat apple bread, all of which were delicious.

    Regrettable

    The room was unclean, and I couldn't stop my runny nose. Also, the quality was too low for the accommodation price. The onsen facility surprised me as it was also open to day-use visitors who were not staying at the property.

    Wonderful snowy scenery and delicious cuisine

    It was our first time in Hakuba with my two daughters. Since it was the peak season, the Property was crowded, and I think more than half of the guests were foreigners. Breakfast was divided into two time slots, and dinner into three time slots (chosen on a first-come, first-served basis), so even though it was a buffet, it wasn't overly crowded. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and about one-third of the menu changed, so we enjoyed it both days! There were many dishes using local ingredients from Nagano, such as oyaki, soba dishes, mushroom soup, and apple tempura, which was very nice. It is a quaint, traditional Resort Hotel, and the open-air bath with a view of the snowy mountains was fantastic. A few minor points: ① For three people in one Room, it felt very cramped. Also, it was a bit disappointing that the Accommodation Fee was only 500 yen less per person despite the limited space. ② The lighting in the Room could not be adjusted, making it difficult to control the brightness when sleeping at night. The bed lights were quite bright, so it would be nice if they could be replaced with footlights or something similar. ③ There was only one trash bin in the Room, and it was very small, so it would be great if this could be improved. Although these minor points caught my attention, overall, it was a very good Hotel. I would like to visit again in the summer!

    The view from the window is beautiful.

    Located on a hill, the view of the snowy landscape from the window was very nice. The Facility is old, but it has a sense of cleanliness. The view from the open-air bath was also good, and I was very satisfied. The meals were buffet-style with a very wide variety, but the taste was so-so. The front desk staff were very pleasant. Considering the price and other factors, it was a recommended Hotel.

    Stays is very good.

    I visited again this year because I had a great experience during the ski season last year. As always, the view from the room was wonderful and very soothing. During my multiple night stay, I caught a cold and spent some time resting alone in the room, but I never got tired of the view from the room. The meals were always varied and delicious, full of flavor. The view from the dining area and the bath is simply amazing. The bath was clean, spacious, and relaxing. Overall, the property is old, but it is well-maintained, and you can feel the love of the staff. I also enjoyed shopping at the store using the coupon received for declining cleaning services. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I would like to visit during the green season as well.
