Celebrating My Mother’s 88th Birthday
We were planning an Onsen trip to celebrate my mother, and it was the first trip for three generations of our family. Since my mother cannot use the large public bath, we looked for a Room with a private open-air bath. Thanks to that, she was able to enjoy the Onsen. The bath in our Room was also fed by Onsen water, and she was very happy. We chose the standard kaiseki meal, but the portions were more than enough—so much that my sons had to give up at both dinner and breakfast. When I requested a cake for my mother’s 88th birthday celebration, they even prepared a red celebratory vest (chanchanko) for her as well, and we truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. The building was clean. The large public bath was small but spotless, and we were very satisfied. In the lobby there was a local sake tasting service, and in the morning there was also coffee service—everything felt very well provided. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. All of the staff were kind, and we had a comfortable stay. It became a wonderful celebratory trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed here on the day we registered our marriage.
Everything was exceptionally good!!! The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with the Room. All the staff were wonderful, and the service was excellent. Please be sure to use the open-air bath in the sky at night. The stars were unbelievably beautiful, and it was truly relaxing.

The Room was clean, the meals were luxurious and delicious, and the staff were very kind. The view from the Room was amazing, with an observation room where you can enjoy both the sunset and sunrise. We were extremely satisfied. Thank you very much!

Had a great time.
I am a repeat guest. Due to kidney concerns, I opted for accommodation with no meals included. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I always enjoy the complimentary karaoke service since I usually don't go to karaoke. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Friendly and attentive service.
We stayed as a large group, including our 1-year-old child and my father-in-law in a wheelchair, and everyone was kind and attentive. We were especially touched by the small gestures, such as bringing food for our little son during meals and helping with the wheelchair over small steps when moving from the Room. These thoughtful acts made our 1-night, 2-day stay very enjoyable! Thank you so much.

It was a creatively designed accommodation.
The front desk staff were all friendly and provided responses with the expertise of seasoned professionals. The shared Facilities, such as hammocks, doctor fish, games, karaoke, sake tasting upon arrival, and the observatory deck, were thoughtfully designed to enhance the stay. We enjoyed exploring various areas and spent a pleasant morning admiring the view from the observatory deck under clear skies. While it’s understandable that elevators are not available in non-guestroom areas, having one would have been helpful. The Room was spacious with a wide entrance area beyond just a Japanese-style room layout. The washbasin area was generously sized, there was an additional sitting space by the window (広縁), and thick futon mattresses made for a comfortable stay. The bath was clean and well-maintained; having ReFa hair dryers added to our satisfaction. The evening view from the open-air bath was stunning as well. For dinner, we particularly enjoyed steamed sea bream and sea bream rice—it was delicious! Breakfast felt luxurious with lobster miso soup and tasty simmered sea bream head. We stayed as three generations of nine people for a special occasion trip and had an incredibly enjoyable time together. Considering the price point, we received excellent hospitality that left us very satisfied. Thank you!

Visit Ise Jingu Shrine
It was my first stay, and both the Facility and the meals for breakfast and dinner were excellent. It has become a Ryokan I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

Great value for money
At this price, the quality of the rooms, meals, and service is exceptional. Additionally, free all-you-can-drink Japanese sake (3 PM to 5 PM), one hour of karaoke (extension available for a fee), and private Onsen (choose from two types) make it an incredible value. The meals were luxurious and plentiful—so much that we couldn't finish everything! The sashimi platter and abalone with liver sauce were especially visually stunning and delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary fish stew served at breakfast. Highly recommended for trips with friends, family, or couples. This is the first Hotel in this price range where I felt so satisfied!

The meals were absolutely delicious.
The staff's hospitality was exceptional. They kindly helped with unloading our luggage upon arrival, which was very helpful. The meals were absolutely delicious, featuring luxurious dishes like spiny lobster and a beautifully presented sashimi platter. The additional fried prawns we ordered were also incredibly tasty. The sea bream rice and herb-steamed sea bream were particularly delightful—I found myself wanting more of the sea bream rice! (laughs) It was unfortunate that the women's open-air bath was out of service, but these things happen. At checkout, we received a sincere apology for the inconvenience caused by the bath's malfunction, which showed great thoughtfulness until the very end of our stay. My mother enjoyed herself immensely, and I felt truly happy as well. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again to enjoy both the open-air bath and your exquisite meals!

Feedback on Stays
Guests are required to move their own cars. Being on a hillside, I was out of breath on the way back. There is no consideration for guests in their 70s. Moreover, when I contacted them the next day about a missing makeup case, they said it wasn't there. I only had one Boston bag and used it just before checking out, so it must have been left behind, but when I called the next morning, they said it wasn't there. Additionally, the phone response was unpleasant, and I was irritated all day. Even if it's just a single pen, they should keep guests' forgotten items, especially if they are French-made, etc. It used to be my favorite Hotel, but there were various unpleasant things even though it had only been about a year since my last visit. The staff had increased from Southeast Asia, and there were people who couldn't communicate. I never want to go again.

The room was general...
The room was generally good, but everything else was lacking. Previously, I stayed with a cheaper plan and it wasn't very good, so this time I opted for a slightly more expensive stay, but the meals, bath, and service were all disappointing. This is the first time since using IKYU.

On a 60th birthday trip with classmates
The shuttle service from Toba Station was very kind, including the guidance on the bus. Unfortunately, we made a reservation for the private open-air bath, which was free to use, and used it immediately. There was guidance to bring towels to the bath, but we didn't know that there was no shampoo, etc. I only realized it after wetting my hair, and there was no hairdryer, so I returned to the room soaking wet. We made a reservation for a course with Ise lobster, abalone, and meat. The portions were so large that we couldn't finish them. Ordering drinks via smartphone was a bit troublesome, but I guess it's unavoidable now. The leftover sea bream from dinner was served as ara-ni for breakfast, and it was very delicious.

I chose the anniversary Plan.
I chose the anniversary Plan because it was my daughter's and grandchild's birthday. Since I chose a Western-style Room, I was able to relax with two single beds and a low bed. There were fun features like doctor fish and hammocks. We also used the private open-air bath. As an anniversary, there was wine in the Room, and fruit was served at the end of the meal, but I was too full to eat it, so I carried it myself and enjoyed it in the Room. I would have been happy if it had been delivered to the Room later. The fish dishes were delicious. It was nice to enjoy Japanese cuisine leisurely, such as the slightly sweet simmered whole sea bream and the morning kabuto-ni, in contrast to the many buffets. The reception staff responded politely and taught us various things, which made me happy. I had a pleasant stay.

I enjoyed it very much with many services included.
I chose this place for a trip with friends because it offers a reasonable price for a room with an open-air bath. We enjoyed the sake service in the lobby, hammocks, private open-air baths available on weekdays, and karaoke. The food was very delicious with so many dishes that we couldn't finish them all. We were able to enjoy our meal in a private room, which allowed us to relax. The sea view from the lobby, room, and bath was refreshing. The staff at the reception and meal service were all very pleasant, making it a great trip.

It was worth the price!
I don't think it's bad. With amenities like hammock chairs, doctor fish, electric kickboards, karaoke, private baths available for free, a complimentary shuttle service, and semi-private dining areas, it seems like they are aiming to be a resort facility. It might appeal to foreigners, as the ratings on travel sites are high, but compared to nearby hotels, the views and the quality of welcome drinks, etc., seem to fall short. Well, I think it's a hotel that's not bad for the price.
