  Very satisfied; the cuisine is creative and original.

  I stayed here during a trip from Kanagawa and stopped by Kurokawa Onsen. Everyone, including the manager, provided outstanding hospitality, and I had a very comfortable stay. I also enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, and the creative dishes were memorable. I was pleasantly surprised by the chawanmushi with shiratama dumplings and cheese—it was delicious. The horse sashimi was exceptional. When traveling in Kumamoto, I would like to stay at Wakaba again.

  I stayed here during...

  I stayed here during my first trip to Kurokawa Onsen. The day before my stay, I received a courteous phone call to confirm my arrival time and meal preferences. Although I initially planned to walk from the nearby bus stop, they kindly provided shuttle service due to the rainy weather, which was greatly appreciated. The staff seemed mostly young but were all very friendly and welcoming, making my stay comfortable. The meals were delicious, and as I was traveling alone, it was nice to enjoy them leisurely in my room. The onsen shares its changing room and bath area with day-use guests, so it might get busy during early hours. However, since I used it at night, there were no other guests around and I could relax by myself. Additionally, private baths are available for accommodation guests free of charge once per stay. On a small note, the texture of the face towels was exceptionally pleasant!

  The men's bath is fu...

  The men's bath is fully visible from the guest rooms, which can be embarrassing. The meals were very plentiful and satisfying, though it seemed a bit too much for women. However, they were extremely delicious. There are few power outlets, which is slightly inconvenient.
