    An Accommodation with outstanding views and exceptional dining

    The full panorama of the Yatsugatake Mountains was beautifully visible from the window, and the small birds that came to the birch trees were soothing. Since the price was casual, I didn’t expect much from the meals, but the beef was tender and flavorful, and both the enoki mushroom tempura and whole grilled trout marinated in miso were surprisingly delicious. The staff were also very pleasant. With wonderful views and food, this was an Accommodation I would visit again and again if it were closer. I don’t usually write a Review, but this time I felt I had to write one to say thank you.

    A strong sewage-like odor at the entrance to the large public bath made it very unpleasant, and I didn’t feel comfortable using it.

    A Hotel You’ll Want to Visit Again

    Stayed in a special room equipped with a telescope. The room also had books about stars, which were fascinating to read. This accommodation is designed for star lovers by a star-loving owner. Many beautiful photos are displayed throughout the property. All rooms offer views of Mt. Yatsugatake, but unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so we couldn't see the scenery or the starry sky. However, the 30-minute indoor stargazing projection session was excellent. Dinner featured fresh and delicious vegetables from their private farm and a steak course that left us more than satisfied. The bath was a spacious public bathhouse; however, there was no open-air bath, which was slightly disappointing. It would have been perfect to soak while gazing at a sky full of stars!

    It is unfortunate that there is no open-air bath.

    The Room's Wi-Fi connection was not good, so I called the front desk. They immediately checked and offered to change the Room, which was very helpful. Overall, I think the staff's response was excellent. It was unfortunate that we couldn't observe the starry sky outdoors due to the rainy season, but I would like to visit again during a calmer weather period. One concern is that the step in the toilet unit bath is quite high, but this might be unavoidable given the building's age. Having an open-air bath in the large public bath would have been perfect!

    Enjoy the bath, the kind stargazing experience, and the variety of breakfast options. Taking a close look at the photos displayed next to the entrance hall is also one of the pleasures. It has become difficult to make a Reservation through IKYU. We hope it becomes easier to book in the future.

    I would like to use it again.

    The staff were well-trained, allowing for a very comfortable stay. The meals were delicious, especially the homegrown vegetables, which were outstanding. I was looking forward to stargazing, and the guide's explanations were very clear and satisfying. I would like to visit again.

    I barely made it to the train arriving in time for check-in, but they kindly waited for me after I got off the shuttle service at the station. I was aware that the vegetables were delicious as they have their own farm, so I was happy to have plenty. There were elaborate dishes and things I tried for the first time, with a variety of items, allowing me to fully enjoy the gentle flavors. The room is simple, reminiscent of the days of company trips in the past, but the size is nice. There were two twin beds and two sofas that could probably be used as beds, making it spacious. The people are warm. I will visit again. Thank you very much.

    Hotel with Delicious Vegetables

    Despite the low price, the food is very delicious. The abundance of vegetables is especially great! Other dishes are also tasty, and the cost performance is excellent. The Room is average, and the large bath is not available in the morning, but even so, the price is reasonable. Above all, the stargazing explanation is outstanding, and even on cloudy or rainy days, they provide an enjoyable indoor explanation. This time, we were lucky to have clear skies and enjoyed the Milky Way and twinkling stars, and we were able to see Saturn, Jupiter, and the Pleiades through a telescope.

    I stayed here the night before an appointment. The Koumi Line from Kobuchizawa Station was crowded due to the holiday, and there were operational troubles on the Chuo Line before and after, but the shuttle from the station arrived promptly. There is a national observatory nearby, and the hotel offers stargazing events at night and indoor planetarium screenings, which were wonderful activities that both children and adults could enjoy. I would like to experience it again in a different season. Since only breakfast was provided, I rated the meals as average.
