  Always trying to save money

  Even though two of us stayed, there was only one towel at the sink, and none in the toilet. When we asked the front desk for an extra towel, we were surprised to be told it would cost extra. There were no bottled drinks in the fridge; instead, there was water in a bottle like the kind used to chill barley tea. Only instant tea sticks were provided—no coffee. There was no drinking water provided in the bath area, and the lid of the key holder was broken. We noticed cost-cutting everywhere and couldn’t really enjoy our stay.

We should have taken greater care to ensure everything was properly prepared for two guests, and we regret that our explanation was insufficient. We also apologize that we did not meet your expectations regarding the drinks in the refrigerator, the beverages in your Room, and an issue with a Facility in the large public bath (the broken lid of the key box). We will promptly inspect our facilities and work to create an environment where you can stay safely and comfortably. We deeply regret that you were unable to fully enjoy your stay despite taking the time to visit us.   I had a relaxing time.

  I chose this ryokan in Chita because I wanted to enjoy fugu, and their fugu dishes were introduced on the site. My room was upgraded, and during this season, I could see both the sunrise and sunset from the room, making it a truly wonderful experience (I uploaded photos of the sunrise and sunset). Yesterday, there were reportedly over 100 guests staying here, but today it was just us. We had the luxury of enjoying the onsen all to ourselves. I imagine yesterday must have been extremely busy for the staff like a "battle," so we felt grateful yet slightly apologetic for being able to enjoy such a calm atmosphere today. The hostess was very friendly and chatted with us during mealtime, allowing us to relax and have an enjoyable time. The onsen features a unique "stone bath" design where water flows beneath stones, creating a serene bathing experience. The indoor bath is slightly hotter while the open-air bath has just the right temperature—perfect for those who prefer either hot or milder baths. Personally, I loved the temperature of the open-air bath; it was perfect for me! The natural fugu we came here for was absolutely delicious as well. Overall, this accommodation offers a relaxing stay with plenty of time to unwind at your own pace!

  Family Trip

  I had a very relaxing stay. The food, made with fresh fish, was delicious. It’s a cozy and welcoming accommodation. I would love to visit again. The bath was very clean as well. There was also a room like a stone sauna where I had a good sweat. Both the food and the bath were excellent!

  This was my first visit.

  It was a very homey place. We arrived around 1 PM, and they kindly prepared the Room for us right away. Thank you so much! The food was delicious as well. The gravel bath in the onsen warmed my body and even relieved my headache and shoulder stiffness. The Room was stylish and clean, making it very comfortable to stay in. I felt like I wanted to stay for a Multiple Night Stay! I’d love to visit again if I have the chance. Do they do anything special for New Year’s?

  I stayed here for the first time in 10 years.

  As a previous memory, the food was good, that's the only memory I have. However, this time, perhaps because I chose the lowest-priced Plan, there were no chawanmushi or fried items as shown in the brochure photos, and the main dishes were a boat platter, sea bream sashimi, and abalone grilled on the shell, which felt a bit lacking. If there had been additional simmered or fried dishes, the satisfaction might have been higher. The Room was renovated and clean, but the water was not hot, so washing my face in the morning was cold. The view from the Room is spectacular. The sea is right in front, and you can enjoy the scenery. That was the best part. The bath was also private, allowing for a relaxing time. The staff were kind, and I think it's a very good Hotel. I hope the areas that can be improved will be addressed, and I would like to visit again if there is an opportunity.

  Couple's Trip

  We came for a trip as a couple after a long time. The service was kind and the food was delicious. We had a Room on the ocean side, so the sea was very beautiful. Next time, I would like to come with my grandchildren. Thank you very much.
