    An Accommodation where you can feel the staff’s thoughtful hospitality

    I was impressed first by the wonderful view. If I had arrived earlier, I would have liked to relax in the lounge and enjoy it longer. Each dish tasted handmade. Everything was delicious, and since all drinks were free, I could dine slowly and comfortably without worry. I also liked the chef’s call when new dishes were served. The Room was clean, and I could unwind while looking out at the birch trees. Ideally, it would have been nice to have a large public bath, but the in-room bathroom was spacious and spotless, so I could soak in the tub at leisure. This is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

    I’ve stayed in the same Room for four years in a row, and every year I look forward to chatting with the front desk staff—they remember me. When I leave, they even come outside and see me off until my car is out of sight. I also look forward to breakfast. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but this one is the best. About two weeks ago, I stayed at a JR Hotel for the same price, but it was unmanned, so of course there were no meals—breakfast was just convenience-store bread. If they don’t have staffing costs, they should be able to charge less. I won’t stay there again. It’s disappointing because I stayed at that Hotel last year and the meals were good.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The hotel is built on a mountain slope, so the front desk is located on what could be considered the second floor or mezzanine. Please be cautious as roads may freeze in the mornings and evenings. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, allowing for a comfortable stay. While there is no Onsen, the room's private bath was spotless with no mold or unpleasant odors, and the spacious washing area made it safe and enjoyable to bathe with children. Meals were served buffet-style in a banquet hall. Although not as luxurious or extensive as those at brand-name hotels, there were various menu options available for each meal during our Multiple Night Stay. The room was spacious even after being set up as a quad room, providing more than enough space to relax comfortably. The humidifier service was greatly appreciated due to the dry air. There are no convenience stores nearby; however, Nagano Forest Village is close by where you can shop for necessities.

    The level of enchantment may vary depending on the season and purpose.

    We chose this accommodation for our trip as a couple to visit Togakushi Shrine. Since it was a weekday (Friday), there seemed to be fewer guests, which was very pleasant. However, it was disappointing that dinner was not a buffet but served as a course meal. Breakfast was buffet-style, but since it was only open for an hour, we felt somewhat rushed. There are no convenience stores nearby, so we regretted not preparing in advance for any shopping needs... The scenery during the autumn foliage season was beautiful. It might be more enjoyable for group activities like training camps or skiing with many people.

    We visited Togakushi as a family.

    We stayed here during our visit to Togakushi. Although the lack of a large public bath was a downside, the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely choose this place again when we visit next time. Thank you very much!

    Affordable yet excellent.

    The Accommodation Fee was low, so I had no expectations at all. However, the room was spacious, and the view was amazing. The bathroom inside the room was also large, and unlike typical hotels, the bathroom and toilet were separate. Additionally, this time I only made a reservation for breakfast, but the breakfast was excellent. The staff's explanation was kind, and they mentioned that dinner is also good; I regretted not having dinner there as well. At an altitude of 1,000 meters with high mountains at eye level and a sea of clouds below, it felt like being in another world. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

    A clean Hotel close to Togakushi

    We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay as a family of three. The surrounding area offers beautiful mountain nature, the Facility is clean, and the Room was tidy and comfortable, allowing us to relax at ease. Togakushi is less than a 30-minute drive away, making it very convenient for sightseeing there. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style, and even during our Multiple Night Stay, the dishes changed each time. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option is also a great advantage for drivers who can enjoy drinks at the Hotel without worry.

    Enjoy breathtaking views.

    The room was spacious enough for five people, featuring two fixed king-size single beds and one additional bed. We stayed as a group of three, and with the toilet, bathroom, and sink area separated, it was very convenient and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly large with a spacious washing area, making it very relaxing. Although slightly expensive, we recommend the sunlit room with large windows overlooking the cityscape. You can enjoy stunning views of the night scenery, stars, and sunrise. When you dim the room lights and let your eyes adjust, you can see a sky full of stars. Meals were served buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast. While not flashy in appearance, every dish used quality ingredients with gentle flavors that didn’t feel heavy—perfect for leisurely enjoyment without feeling like typical hotel food. The staff provided polite and pleasant service throughout our stay. While some facilities felt dated overall, they were well-cleaned and maintained so there were no issues at all. Although we couldn’t see the sea of clouds this time around, we thoroughly enjoyed the mountain views instead!

    Convenient for visit...

    Convenient for visiting Togakushi Shrine. The location is not large in scale but offers a stunning view overlooking Nagano City. Both the front desk and buffet staff were very friendly and welcoming. Meals are buffet-style only, but the dining hours are limited, so it’s best to arrive with time to spare as the dining area closes promptly. There are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so plan accordingly. It seems that front desk staff are also unavailable during nighttime hours. The buffet may not have an extensive selection, but everything was delicious. Alcoholic beverages were free; beer was served in medium-sized bottles with one type available, sake had two varieties, and there was an impressive selection of wine as expected. The view from the room offered a great sense of openness and relaxation in the cool highlands. Although there is no large public bath, the en-suite bathroom features a separate washing area and is spacious and convenient to use. Rooms themselves are also spacious and provide a comfortable stay.

    Used as an accommoda...

    Used as an accommodation for birdwatching in Togakushi. Clean and spacious room with a great view, delicious meals, and complimentary alcohol. The bathroom includes a washing area instead of a unit bath, so it was very satisfying even without a large public bath. Great hospitality and reasonable price. Would love to stay again.

    It was truly wonderful.

    We stayed here as a family for a skiing trip. Although the building itself is not new, it has been renovated and felt clean. The view from the window was also spectacular. Above all, the dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The staff were courteous and kind, providing excellent service. We will definitely stay here again.
